The family were in shock with what they just heard expect from Emily but she tried not to make it too obvious.

“I just got the news from Alvin, Skyler is pregnant” Grandma Mario repeated, he couldn’t hide how happy he was.

“Do you think Mason knows?” Hudson asked.

“Look at your dumb question, Mason is there with Skyler, how do you expect him not to know?” Edna rolled her eyes.

“I don’t have time for any of these, I’ll tell Alvin to take Skyler and her family members to our private hospital” the old man said happily.

“But they would see us,” Carson narrowed his brows.

“It doesn’t matter, we should trust Skyler’s family. Ivy and Edna, take some of Skyler’s belongings, we are going to meet her” Grandpa Mario happily announced and began going upstairs in a haste but he paused and looked back.

“Rosa, Emily, you two go make Skyler some chicken soup” he announced before going upstairs in a rush.

“Well..” Ivy looked at Edna.

“What?” Edna gave her a confused look.

“Let’s go get Skyler things, come on” Ivy replied and began heading upstairs to Mason and Skyler’s room and Edna had no choice but to roll her eyes.

“Since we don’t have anything to do, let’s get the car ready” Hudson wrapped his arms around Carson’s shoulder and began leaving.

Jacob rolled his eyes and followed them from behind. Rosa and Emily already entered the kitchen and Maya was left alone.

She sat on the couch and folded her legs together.

“They didn’t give me anything to do ” she mumbled painfully and looked elsewhere then it occurred to her again.

Skyler was pregnant which meant there was no more chance for Hailey to get into the family and Agnes might expose her long time secret.

“No, I have to do something,” she muttered to herself.

HOSPITAL★

Kiara, Ashely Wendy and Skyler were watching some videos together when the nurse stepped in with Mason.

Skyler smiled at him but he didn’t return the smile back to her.

“Your husband requested to transfer you to another hospital so I brought your discharge papers” the nurse said.

“What’s wrong with this hospital?” Kiara faced Mason.

“Grandpa wants to see her, that’s why we are transferring to the hospital, can you walk?” He replied to Kiara and asked Skyler without making eye contact with her.

Skyler bit her lips and nodded.

“That’s good, I’ll meet you outside then” he replied and walked out.

After he had left, Wendy faced Skyler.

“Are you two fighting?” She asked.

“Come on Wendy, learn how to stop poking your nose in people’s business” Kiara sighed.

“But it’s just that”

“Don’t argue Wendy, let’s help Skyler up” Ashely rolled her eyes and walked to Skyler’s bed.

After going through all the discharge process, they went out and met a Lamborghini waiting for them in the parking lot.

“Don’t tell me it’s yours” Wendy gasped.

“It’s for my husband” Skyler smiled and moved forward with her mom and Ashely, Wendy was still admiring when the horn sounded that made her run in as fast as she could.

The place was really large, Ashely, Wendy and Kiara were surprised with the sight they were seeing.

“Let’s go in” Mason began moving forward, it was Ashely and Wendy that was helping Skyler walk but she excused herself from them.

“I can walk on my own” she muttered and Mason paused on walking, he used his side eye to look at her and stopped walking so she would move forward.

Skyler walked past him, she was about to fall but he caught her immediately.

“I remembered asking you if you can walk,” he frowned at her.

“I can’t walk, carry me” Skyler pouted and he gave her a hard look before lifting her up in a bridal style.

Ashely and Wendy were already pinching themselves with huge smiles on their faces as they walked behind them.

They got to the hospital and the receptionist passed a card to Mason, she didn’t bother saying anything because she already knew who they were.

Alvin explained to her that some people were coming in.

They got to the ward where Skyler would be staying and Mason gently dropped her on the bed,he was still not smiling at her.

“Mason” Skyler called when he was about to walk away and he turned back to look at her.

“I’m sorry, I mean it” she said with a pleading eye but he looked forward and left the ward.

Skyler sighed to herself and looked at the ceiling. ‘This is going to take time,’ she muttered.

The soup was done, Rosa was the one who packed it herself with a smile.

“How are you so happy with helping someone?” Emily asked in surprise. Throughout the process of cooking, Rosa has been doing everything with a happy smile, something she had never done before.

“I owe Skyler, she settled the dispute between me and my son, now Jacob is undergoing a therapist about his fear of blood” Rosa replied with a smile.

“Really? That’s an awesome thing for him to do, I’ll get changed, you can deliver the soup personally to Skyler” Emily smiled and left.

Rosa poured the soup in a flask and left the kitchen to change so they can all visit Skyler in the hospital. When she came back, she didn’t see the soup in the kitchen, it was with that old man.

“Let’s go, Skyler is waiting for us” he didn’t look at them as he worriedly left, making it the second time he was doing this to them.

Rosa looked shocked as she stared at the old man, she didn’t even know what to say.

“Don’t worry, you can actually pay your gratitude to Skyler without holding anything,” Emily said with a smile as she stood beside Rosa.

They entered the car that would drive them to the hospital without having any paparazzi to disturb them.

When they got in, the workers or securities didn’t bother questioning them as they knew who they were, they even greeted them.

The old man knocked on Skyler’s ward before slowly opening it and entertained. Wendy was dozing on the chair while Ashely was busy on her phone since Skyler was asleep and Kiara was watching her.
