Mason was busy on his laptop when his phone began ringing.
“Dada” Maxwell who was sitting on the table picked up the phone and stretched to him and Mason couldn’t help but smile at his son kind gesture.
His kids were really observant about things around them which makes him so proud.
“Thank you champ” Mason smiled as he took the phone. It was Alvin so he picked the call.
“Yes?” He raises one of his brows up, still focusing on his laptop.
“Boss I wanted to let you know the house is ready” Alvin said from the other end and Mason nodded.
“If that’s so then thank you” after saying that, he hung up.
After his second wedding with Skyler, he has been secretly planning to build a house to start a new life with his family and the only person that knew about this was the old man who was in total support.
“Dada, mummy?” Maxwell looked up at Mason.
“She went out with Scarlett, they are at the salon” Mason replied his son.
“Salon?” Maxwell repeated what he grabbed from his dad.
“Scarlett and mummy went to style their hair” Mason replied, even though his son don’t always understand what he was saying, he would never get tired of replying.
Maxwell didn’t ask anymore questions again. He just pointed the ground, signalling Mason to put him down and when Mason did, the little boy moved his tiny legs and took his heels.
“Maxwell!” Mason stood up, he didn’t need to run, he just moved few steps before he picked up the boy who was laughing.
“Do you think this is funny? You’ve learnt how to walk and now you’re stressing daddy, I’ll call your great grandpa to take you along with him” Mason looked tired but Maxwell kept laughing like he was enjoying himself.
Mason put the boy on the table before bringing out a portable laptop. He started the laptop and load a computer game then passed to the boy.
“You should play with this one” he said and the little boy took it and began pressing the keyboard with the aim of mimicking his father.
Mason only just smiled, he took his phone and took a picture of his son looking serious while pressing his laptop and he posted on Instagram, making it his fourth post about his family after their one year old birthday and his second wedding with Skyler.

He captioned, people were already reacting to the post and dropping comments but Mason didn’t bother reading them, he turned off his phone and pushed through with his work.

Ivy was laying on her bed and using her pressing her phone when a knock sounded on the door.
“It’s open” she shouted and Edna stepped in with a laptop. She sat on the bed and placed the laptop in front of Ivy where the screen had a handsome man picture on it.
“What do you think of this man?” Edna asked.
“A new boyfriend? You’re getting tired of Duchene already?” Ivy raised her brows up.
“What? Duchene and I are still in love please, this guy is for you” Edna replied and Ivy creased her brows.
“For me, why?” She narrowed her eyes. “I don’t need any man for now, I better just focus on my work” Ivy added with an eye roll.
“You know, you shouldn’t be afraid that everyone would turn out to be that bastard Blake. Look at Zach, he dumped me to be with a new girl but I’m still living and guess what, with Miguel and all, I learnt that not everything is about me. Just try to be happy in the right way, Duchene is really treating me well, we are taking things slow to see where it would take us” Edna said with a smile before being serious.
“I don’t care if I’m not the best, if I’m not number one. I don’t want to spend my whole life proving to be better than anybody, I just wanna be happy”
“And what I don’t get is why you’re sitting on my bed and having this conversation with me. I thought we hated eachother?” Ivy twitched her lips.
“Oh please” Edna chuckled before Ivy smiled along with her.
“You’re right, life does not revolve around one person and it’s certainly not me either. I was a spoilt brat and if I didn’t get what I want I’d think it’s not fair. I don’t want to rush things, I’m okay being alone for now. I want to just spend time with my original mother” Ivy muttered.
“Alright then, whenever you’re ready to get down with a hot guy, I’m only one call away” Edna winked before standing up and leaving.
Ivy smiled and shook her head, she stood up and went to meet Emily who was cooking in the kitchen.
“What are you cooking mom, let me help?” She said from behind and Emily turned back to look at her with a huge smile.
All these years she had been thinking she was barren meanwhile her daughter had been next to her all these while. She would never forgive Maya for this but at the same time,she wouldn’t spend her life hating on Maya, she would spend it with her daughter to make up for the years of not being a mother to her.

“Do you think it would work?” Hudson looked at the bunch of flowers around him as he was talking to Miguel.
“It shouldn’t be that hard, just walk up to her and say hey Cynthia, I really like you. If she says no it’s no, if she says yes then it’s yes” Miguel shrugged his shoulders.
“Okay it should be that bad, I’m the Grandson of old man Mario, I shouldn’t have a problem to ask her a simple girl out” he slapped himself before picking up his flowers.
He went to the unit where Cynthia was working while Miguel followed from behind. When she saw him coming over, she rolled her eyes.
“What do you want?” She sighed.
“I’m not here to joke this time, I am here because I wanted to tell you that I like it when we spend time together and I want to push it forward. Cynthia will you be my girlfriend?” He brought out the flowers behind his back and asked.
Everyone present were already clapping while Cynthia looked a little flushed.
“What do you think you’re doing Hudson?” She asked in a whisper.
“I’m asking you out, will you be my girlfriend?” He moved the flower close to her face and she sneezed.
“Huh, what’s the matter?” Hudson looked confused and she sneezed again.
“I think she might be allergy to the flowers” Miguel whispered from behind.
“My bad, I didn’t know, I’ll just throw it away then” Hudson said and accident threw the flower towards her.
“Hudson!!” Miguel yelled at him.
Soon the emergency team was called to the office and Cynthia was called placed on a stretcher. Her face and body were red and bringing out some itchy spot, she looked like she was in pains.
“I’m sorry Cynthia I didn’t mean too!!” Hudson shouted after her and picked the flower up. “But will you still go out with me? You didn’t tell me if it’s a yes or no?” He added and Miguel hit him gently.
Hudson sighed looking disappointed.
“I guess that’s a no, way to go Hudson” he turned around to leave when one of Cynthia friend rushed towards him.
“Cynthia said you’re allowed to court her” she reported before running off.
Hudson and Miguel looked at themselves with a smile.
“In Jacob’s face, he’s not the only one with a girlfriend” Hudson said happily and Miguel only rolled his eyes.

Carson stepped out of his school gate with a smile when he received James message that he was outside.
James was dressed as a baddie as usual, leaning on his speed bike as he watched Carson walked up to him with a smile.
“You came” Carson smiled.
“Is that a way to greet your boyfriend whom you haven’t seen in months” James looked at him with a smirk.
“Than what do you want me to do?” Carson smiled with one of his brows raised.
James touched his lips.

Carson smiled and moved closer. He didn’t mind that he was in public. He leaned towards James and captured his lips and when he was about to step back, James pulled him back and deepened the kiss.
Getting to accept himself in public made him realize that no one is actually looking at him. All that matters was his happiness.
James broke the kiss and passed a helmet to him.
“Hop in, let’s go out” he said before climbing the bike and Carson smiled and put the helmet before sitting behind him and hugging him from behind then they drove off.

It was evening, the family were in the dining as usual but the difference was Maya and Dylan weren’t there. They were replaced with Miguel and his dad also the twins had their special sit.
“There, this is for you two” Matilda put a small plate each on the twins chair.
“Tank ku” Scarlett said and everyone turned to her.
“Who thought you how to say that Scarlett?” Skyler asked and the little girl only smiled.
“Yeat yaya” she said not understanding what her mother was asking her.
The family won’t find it hard to believe her. Grandpa Mario makes sure he spends quality time with his great grandkids.
“Anyways I want to make an announcement, only grandpa knows about this” Mason said and Grandpa Mario nodded at him.
“We are actually moving out, Skyler, I and our kids. These past months, I was working on building us a comfortable house and we are moving out tomorrow to start our life” Mason announced.
“What? You didn’t tell me all these” Skyler gasped a little.
“I was going to surprise you” Mason replied.
“What do you think Sky?” Grandpa Mario asked Skyler.
“I’m so used to the Delgado family mansion but I also think it will be great if we move out and continue as a family” Skyler replied.
“Yeah, we think so too” the rest of the family agreed.
“But don’t forget this old man when you get go your new place. Make sure you come visit sometimes and bring my great grandkids along” the old man said and Mason nodded.
Ivy flew from her sit and came to hug Mason. She didn’t care if they weren’t real siblings. She had spent more than twenty years of her like, looking up to him like a senior brother and nothing would change that.
“Take care of Skyler and the twins bro” she pouted.
“You don’t have to lecture me of my duty” Mason replied before patting her shoulders gently.
“Don’t worry when you get married you will move out and no one would miss you” Hudson said and everyone laughed apart from Ivy who only eyed him.
“Ahh Miguel, you can take my room when I leave” Mason faced him.
“I thought you were gonna give me” Hudson pouted.
“You’re not his brother,are you?” Edna said and when Hudson looked at her she stuck her tongue at him.
The only quiet person as usual was Jacob. He was taking over from the character Mason was leaving behind.
“Thank you.. bro” Miguel smiled.
Mason was still trying to get used to the fact he had a junior brother and father. He didn’t know how to respond until Skyler squeezed his thigh.
“You’re welcome” he smiled back at him.
The next day, after packing and greeting everyone their final goodbyes. Mason, Skyler and the twins entered the car, driving to their new home.
