Alejandro paced back and forth in the hospital hallway, his anxiety growing with each passing second as he waited for the doctor to emerge from Camila’s ward.

“You should sit, Alejandro. She’s going to be fine,” Sofia said softly, her voice filled with reassurance.

He glanced at her but didn’t reply. Just then, the door creaked open, and the doctor stepped out. Alejandro’s face lit up with a mix of worry and hope.

“Mr. Alejandro Ruiz,” the doctor called.

“What’s wrong with Camila, Doctor?” Alejandro asked, his voice laced with panic.

“She’s going to be a mother, and you’re going to be a father. She’s four and a half weeks pregnant,” the doctor announced with a warm smile.

Alejandro froze.

“What? Can we see her?” Isabella asked eagerly.

“She’s sleeping right now, but you can visit her once she wakes up,” the doctor replied before walking away.

Isabella and Sofia hugged each other joyfully, their faces glowing with happiness. They turned to Alejandro, who still looked stunned.

“Come on, brother-in-law! Snap out of it! You’re going to be a father!” Isabella teased, nudging him playfully.

“Leave him be,” Sofia interjected, rolling her eyes. “That was exactly your father’s reaction when he found out I was pregnant. He’ll come around.”

Moments later, Camila woke up to find her room filled with family and friends.

“We’re so glad everything is over now. How are you feeling?” Lucia asked tenderly, brushing her hand over Camila’s cheek.

Camila blinked, her gaze fixed on Lucia as if trying to piece something together.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Lucia chuckled.

“You look… different,” Camila murmured, her voice weak but curious.

“Different? How?” Lucia asked, narrowing her eyes.

“You’re glowing… and you look fuller. It’s beautiful, but…” Camila trailed off as her eyes fell on Lucia’s hand, which rested protectively on her stomach. Her eyes widened.

“You’re…”

“No, we are,” Lucia corrected with a grin.

Camila gasped. “I am?”

“Yes, you’re a month and two weeks pregnant. And so am I,” Lucia revealed, laughing.

“Lucia! You weren’t supposed to tell her yet!” Isabella scolded, walking over.

“Why not?” Lucia asked, looking confused.

“Alejandro has been rehearsing how he’d break the news to her. He’s been talking to himself for the past thirty minutes, and I think he’s planning to kill you,” Isabella joked.

Lucia gasped, covering her mouth. She turned to Camila, who gave her a helpless smile.

“At least act surprised, okay?” Lucia pleaded.

Camila nodded. “Thanks. I love you,” Lucia whispered, blowing Camila a kiss before she left the room.

Minutes later, Alejandro entered the ward, and everyone else left to give them privacy. He stood by Camila’s bed, hands in his pockets, his expression soft and tender.

“How are you feeling?” he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

“I’m okay,” Camila replied with a gentle smile.

He sat beside her, taking her hand in his. “I’m glad it’s all over now, and I swear, I’ll never let anything like this happen again,” he said with conviction.

“I promise to take care of you and our baby,” he continued, brushing her knuckles with his lips.

“Thank you, Alejandro,” Camila murmured, tears threatening to spill.

Alejandro sighed, his gaze dropping. “I’m still angry at myself. You were carrying my child, and I wasn’t there. You went through so much because of me.”

“It’s okay. It’s over now,” Camila reassured him.

“I know, but I still want to track that bastard down and break every bone in his body. His punishment was too easy. He kidnapped my woman!” Alejandro’s voice rose in anger before he suddenly sighed, looking defeated.

“If I hadn’t pushed you away, none of this would’ve happened,” he admitted, his voice heavy with guilt.

Camila leaned forward and wrapped her arms around him. “It’s okay, Alejandro. Don’t beat yourself up. It’s in the past now,” she said softly.

“I love you,” he whispered into her ear. “I love both of you,” he added, placing a hand on her stomach.

Camila chuckled through her tears, her heart swelling with love.

“Oh my God, I can’t believe this,” Perri exclaimed as the guards escorted her and Theresa into the estate. “Are you telling me George belongs here, and he ran away?”

“Perri, calm down,” Theresa chided, nudging her gently. “Stop acting so desperate!”

“Mom, please! Don’t pretend like this isn’t a big deal. Just look at this place!” Perri gasped, her eyes wide as she took in the grandeur around her.

“Good evening, Mrs. Theresa and Miss Perri,” a well-dressed woman greeted them. “I’m Pani Karolina. We’re delighted to have you here. George won’t be around tonight, but please, make yourselves comfortable.”

“Thank you,” Theresa replied graciously.

“Are you hungry, or would you like to see your rooms first?” Pani Karolina asked politely.

“I want to see my room first!” Perri blurted out, unable to contain her excitement.

“Come with me,” Pani said, signaling for the maids to escort them.

When Perri stepped into her room, her jaw dropped. The space was enormous, elegantly decorated with luxurious furnishings.

“Are you sure this is just mine?” she asked, still in disbelief.

“Yes, Miss,” one of the maids confirmed with a nod.

“Oh my God,” Perri whispered, covering her mouth as tears welled up in her eyes.

A knock on the door interrupted her awe, and a butler entered.

“Miss Perri, this is for you. George asked me to deliver it,” he said, handing her an envelope.

“What’s inside?” Perri asked, tearing it open. The moment she saw the contents, she screamed.

“I’m going to school! I’m going to university!” she shouted, jumping up and down in excitement.

“Yes, Miss. Congratulations!” the butler replied with a warm smile.

“Mom!” Perri shrieked, running out of her room. “Mom, I’m going to school!”
