Jr paused, his eyes locked in hers before he continued talking.
“I was there at the karaoke and I kissed you” He confessed.

Jr leaned forward to kiss her again, but the interruption from the door, stopped him from going through with his plans.

“I just want to inform you that it’s time for your discharge” She smiled.
“Go ahead, I will proceed with the discharge bills” Jr said, and the nurse leaves.
Swan pouted and looked at Jr, making a baby face.
“I don’t want to go home”
“Don’t worry, I have no plans of sending you home. You will stay in my house”
Swan grins.
“I will be back” He pats her hair.
He reached for the door, but came back and planted a kiss on Swan’s lips.
It was short, but soothingly sweet.
He smiled at her before leaving.
Swan touched her lips and began squealing in excitement, her legs dancing in the air.

“Swan!” Kitten rushed to hug Swan when she entered the house with Jr.
“Did you miss me?” Swan asked with a smile.
“Yes I did. What happened to you Swan? Why are you in patch bandages?”
Swan smiled and ruffled her hair.
“It’s a long story, but I’m fine. I also missed you so much!” She tingled Kitten and she laughed.
“Stay with us forever” Kitten hugs her tightly.
“Fine, I’ll. Ain’t going nowhere”
“Yay!” Kitten jumps, still hugging Swan.
Though she squatted, so that Kitten would be able to reach her height.

Swan just had her shower and was drying her hair when Jr took the hair dryer from behind her.
“I will help you dry your hair” He smiled.
“Can you do it?”
“Have you forgotten I have a younger sister at home? I offer dry Kitten’s hair”
“How am I sure you can do it? You couldn’t even mention the word PAD” Swan teased.
“It’s my first time buying such, you don’t expect me to be outspoken about it right?”
“You got a point. I don’t joke with my hair, so handle it with care”

Swan chortled and sat on the chair.
Jr smiled before he began drying her hair.
He purposely snuggled the hairdryer to her ear, playfully.

When he was done, he weaved it into two pigtails.

“My mom is not dead”

Swan was already sitting on the bed, so Jr sat beside her.
He feeds her the medicine.
“Should I go back to May-May and make her pay for what she did to you?” Jr asked.
He was still unhappy seeing the bandages on her body.
“What you did to her is enough. I’m going to visit her in the hospital”

“I feel bad for her. Yasmeen said her parents careless about her, so please let me visit her just one!” Swan said, raising her index finger up.

Swan and Yasmeen watched May-May from the glass door.
May-May was already conscious and her entire body was bandaged.
Yasmeen and Swan didn’t know what they’d say if they entered her ward.
“Let’s do this, Yas!”
Yasmeen concurred and they entered the ward.
May-May batted in sadness on seeing them.
“What are you both doing here?” She asked.
“We came to see you, May-May,” Swan said.
May-May scoffed, saddening.
“You came to see me after what I did to you? Are you God’s first daughter? You should be resenting me, not coming to see me?!” May-May said, loudly.
“I know you wronged me, but I totally understand you. You’re an introvert, you don’t know to get along with people. Yasmeen was your only friend and you felt unsafe. I’m sorry if I made you feel that way”
Yasmeen held her hand.
“May-May, I might like Swan a lot, but you are still my best friend. We have known each other for a decade and a half, do you think I’d throw that away? I was hurt by what you did, but I forgive you, May-May”
May-May was trying to fight back her tears, but she couldn’t, so she poured it all out.
“I’m sorry too. I shouldn’t have done that. I was just sad that I was at the verge of losing you, and that’s why I did that to Swan, without thinking. I’m sorry Swan for hurting you”
