Hugo quickly got the towel and wrapped it back on his waist to cover up.

Almost immediately, an ambulance drove past them, into the estate for Lee.

Kenzie dialled the press, and at dawn, numerous reporters assembled in front of the estate.

Hugo almost entered the ground as they surrounded him…

10AM, HOSPITAL*

Lee became conscious at dawn, though his head is completely wrapped with bandage right now, and he looks weak.

Tears are coming out of his eyes, and though Anna is right beside him, he’s not even seeing her, his head is full of possibilities.

“It’s true, right?” He muttered without looking at her.

“What are you thinking?” Anna replied, holding his hand.

He took his hand from her immediately.

“That you have a crush on Kenzie! You’re in love with my brother!” He snapped angrily, and she stood.

“Don’t try to deny it, mum. I was defending you with my life when Miguel said it, but after what happened with dad, I now know better. You’re a pedophile too, right? Did you get the gene from dad?” He sniffled, and tears came out of her eyes, realizing she got caught.

Eminem quickly pulled Anna out, and Natty sat beside him in bed.

“Things happen, yunno? Just forget it, move on ok?” She said, and he broke the hug to look at her.

Meanwhile, Anna is currently on her way out of the hospital, and as she walked the hallway, the nurses and doctors gave her hateful disappointed glares.

Apparently, her secret got out to the public too. Someone must have heard when Lee was screaming earlier in the ward.

Kenzie met Natty and Lee still hugging when he arrived at the ward. Eminem is with them now.

They broke the hug when he came in, and Lee came down from the bed quickly to meet him.

“Do you hate me now? For my parents stupidity?” He asked with his breathings paused.

“Why would I hate you?” Kenzie replied frankly.

“I’m so sorry on their behalf ” Lee muttered, and Kenzie pulled him into a hug immediately.

Lee released the breaths he held.

“Don’t say that shit anymore, just get well” he said, and Lee nodded, hugging him back.

Natty hung her arm on Eminem’s shoulder and smiled.

“We really really had an eventful break. How many days before we go back to France?” She said.

“Three days” Miguel replied, coming in.

“I’m adding one extra week. Need to attend CADENCE concert for Hazel” Kenzie replied.

THIAGO’S CASTLE, 12PM*

Hazel was already waiting at the relaxation shed when Kenzie’s car drove into the property.

She’d have gone to the estate first thing this morning, but she had to wait this long to see him cos of Hugo and Anna’s case.

She jumped out of the shed literally, into his arms

Kenzie caught her, and they shared a warm kiss immediately.

Hazel was caressing his neck tattoo throughout, and she smiled again when they broke it.

“I missed you” she muttered.

“But you bounced my calls and left me on read last night?” He raised his brows.

“I did it on purpose cos I was so mad at you, but when I was ready to reply, Livia ruined it. I fell asleep after she used eyedrop on my eyes” she complained, and he smiled, kissing her again.

“I missed you too” he finally said, making her chuckle.

“What are you gonna do about your parents though?” She asked curiously.

“They received their share of karma already. Today will forever be memorable for them, so I have nothing to do anymore” he replied, and she sighed.

“I was wondering why she suddenly changed and made i and mum kneel”

“She did?” Kenzie’s eyes darkened.

“Yes, but don’t do what you’re thinking cos I remember you saying they’re already getting their share of karma. Just leave them be” she said.

“Sure” he replied.

“You’re not going back today, right? Stay with me throughout then in the evening we can go to the hospital together for Lee” she said.

“Of course ” he replied, and she kissed his hair.

“Stop that” he laughed.

The clearing of throat made them look back at the car.

Eminem is standing beside it, watching them with a funny look.

“Emi! You came together?” Hazel gasped.

“Of course, but your romance blinded you from seeing me” he replied.

“Don’t be offended” she pouted

Maria and Thiago weren’t in when they entered the castle.

It’s just Livia and Austin, rolling eyes at each other in the living room.
