“I love you… Hazel Alejandro” Kenzie whispered back, kissing her neck warmly.

Hazel’s racing heart quickened it’s pace immediately, and she almost got an heart attack at the sporadic rhythm.

She brought her face back to his, and when she saw the genuinely happy smile on his lips, she bit her lip as a rush of emotions overtook her system.

“I love you too, Kenzie Torrance” she replied, and his face crashed into hers immediately, his lips taking hers in a hard-as-fuck kiss.

His lips are greedy as they always are, totally dominating and possessive as he kissed the shit out of her, in the rain.

She reciprocated zestfully, fisting his shirt in the front to pull him impossibly closer as the rainwater mixed in their mouths.

Just when she thought the frenetic, passionate kiss won’t get any better, he abruptly slowed it down.

By the time their faces came back to each other, their lips already turned swollen and pink, making them smile widely.

“You both done?” Thiago’s voice interrupted their moment, and Kenzie turned to see him standing in front of the gate sternly, a guard is holding an umbrella to his head.

THIRTY MINUTES LATER, PENTHOUSE*

Kenzie already dried up, and he’s currently wearing Austin’s clothes though it’s highly uncomfortable since he dislikes wearing what’s not his, but he has no choice.

Hazel is changed too, to a thick cardigan and the matching joggers.

She was even forced to wear mittens and socks cos of the time she spent in the rain, and she’s currently sitting on Kenzie’s lap in the living room as if someone is taking him away if she doesn’t.

Thiago and Maria are sitting in front them while Austin and Livia are behind the couch with looks of examiners on their faces.

“I’m firing that maid for letting you into the rain in the first place” Thiago spoke.

“No. It was my fault, I actually bit her but it was unintentional” Hazel quickly said, and Kenzie almost laughed out.

“Aww! Who’ll bite a maid for me?” Austin held his chest dramatically.

“What are you plans for my sis?” Livia asked seriously, and Kenzie pulled his brows.

“That’s actually true” Maria replied, and Kenzie faced her.

He could barely breathe right now cos Hazel is busy touching him all-over his face, rubbing his ear and brows.

“You’re a morally grey guy, Ken. I mean… everyone in this country is aware of your games, and as much as I like you, I won’t risk my daughter’s heart for you” Maria continued.

“He breaks her, I’ll kill him and his parents, plus his junior brother” Thiago said sharply, and Kenzie smiled.

“You can do that, that time is never coming anyways” he said confidently, and Maria smiled.

Hazel kissed his lips.

“Fûck… You should get inside before doing that” Austin groaned.

“I don’t care” she replied, and Livia made faces.

“Let’s go to my room” Hazel told Kenzie, standing from his laps

He pulled him by the arm, rushing upstairs with him.

“Feels like my sis has just been stolen away… hey Kenzie! We need to make a timetable on how to share her!” Livia shouted, running upstairs too.

“You can’t interrupt their moment witch! They miss each other!” Austin shouted, rushing after her.

Maria continued smiling, and when she looked sidewards to see Thiago staring at her, she shifted closer to him and rested her head on his chest.

He wrapped his arm around her.

“I’ve been wondering why you didn’t get married” she said.

It took a heartbeat before he replied.

“You seriously think I’ve been having a goodnight sleep since that night? My restlessness made me start looking for you, so tell me how I’d think of any other woman”

Maria smiled again, looking up at him.

He kissed her forehead.

HAZEL’S ROOM*

“And that’s my laptop, my ipad and ipod, dad even got me two new phones though I don’t need them. I have a computer game in the game room too, and this is my closet…my shoe rack….”

Hazel hasn’t stopped talking since Kenzie’s arrival into the room.

She showed him every single thing including her underwear bag, and he chuckled at her childishness again.

She pulled him out of the closet after showing him around too, and they fell on the bed together.

She slept on him, and they kissed again, longer than the one they shared in the rain…

She broke it when the intensity began growing, and he groaned.

“We can go on a day out tomorrow, somewhere where we won’t get interrupted, just us” she said.

“The sea?” He suggested, and her eyes brightened immediately.

“I can’t wait” she whined, and he smiled.

“Why did you take long in Italy by the way? You scared me. Natty and the guys didn’t tell me anything” she said, and he sat up, then she climbed his laps again.

“Something came up with the brothers, and I had to stay till it was settled. Had phone issues” he replied.

“Well… scratch that, you’re back now” she held his face, and he cupped her @ss, looking at her affectionately.

“Sweetheart” he whispered.

“Mm.. I just wanna kiss you till I pass out” she replied, and he tossed them, so he came on top.

She dragged the duvet over them, and her moans filtered out cutely.

“Your body temperature again” her voice came.

“Didn’t you just want to kiss me?” He replied, and she chuckled.

TORRANCE ESTATE*

“I should go tell my parents, ASAP!” Lee said after several minutes of crying.

He stood to leave, but Natty pulled him back.

“Don’t! They won’t be able to take it, trust me especially Anna. What if she passes out?”

Tears are in her eyes too.

“It doesn’t matter. They should know thay my brother barely has three days to live. They should know he has been suffering from lung cancer for the past three years!” Lee replied.

“Natty is right. We should see Kenzie first before trying anything ” Eminem said, and Lee fell back on the couch.

He stood almost immediately, going to Miguel who has been quiet.

“Why did you keep it from everyone? Why didn’t you tell!” He shouted.

“Because he told me to keep it! I found out a day before we came to New York ok? It wasn’t my intention to keep it” Miguel replied.

“So that’s why you’ve been intentionally cruel to Hazel” Natty muttered.

“Since he never wanted me to tell anyone, the best way to help was to scare her away from him so she wouldn’t break down when he’s finally gone” Miguel replied, and Eminem covered his face with his palms.

MAIN MANSION, HUGO’S ROOM*

As usual, Hugo entered the bathroom for his business.

He was already groaning in sweetness before he even got his phone.

This time, it’s not Natty’s picture. It’s Hazel’s picture as she creamed herself at the annex.

He began pumping himself while staring at her on screen, spewing jargons out of his mouth.

His vision was already hazy before he could finish, and when he released on the ground, he laughed satisfactorily.

PENNY’S PLACE*

The rain stopped not long ago, but Penny’s parents are still in the living room, heads on their palms in deep thoughts.

A knock sounded on the door, and the mother went to open the door.

Hope came in.

“Hope” the woman smiled sadly.

“How’s Penny doing?” Hope asked.

“She insisted we discharged her yesterday. She’s in her room, and she wouldn’t eat or talk to anyone” she replied.

Hope was led to Penny’s room, and immediately she opened, she inhaled.

Penny is sitting on a wheelchair beside her bed, her two legs totally immobile, and her face teary.

“Hope!” She gasped, wiping her tears and quickly riding the wheelchair to her.

“Where is Hazel? Did she come with you?” Huh?” She looked at the door.

“Hazel is at her castle” Hope replied, and tears ran down Penny’s eyes again

“Please help me beg her. It wasn’t my fault. My family needed the money and I just couldn’t watch my parents suffer in the farm anymore, and…

“And that’s why you took the money to spill her secrets?” Hope interrupted, and she gulped.

“That one is even forgivable, but girl, you connived with Katherine and Cole to kill her? How much did Katherine give you?” Hope continued.

“She promised 5M” Penny replied shamefully, and Hope shook her head disappointedly.

“So if Hazel died in the Mart that day, what would you say? You’d cry like her best friend and go to her burial like you care?”

“I’m so sorry Hope. I’ve learnt my lesson and I can’t even walk anymore!!” Penny cried out.

“Was it jealousy? That she’s the best in the band? Or hatred that she got almighty Kenzie without breaking a sweat? Which one?” Hope continued.

“Nah, I’ll personally delete Hazel’s line if she forgives you” Hope cut her off and started walking out.

“Hope wait! Hope!!” Penny tried to follow her, but she fell off the wheelchair to the ground.
