When Naomi got in, she met everyone quiet.
“What happened, what’s the quietness all about?” She asked.
“Where have you been?” Lucky was the first to ask.
“Excuse me?” Naomi asked back.
“The way you miss classes these days is so alarming” Gwen added.
“What is wrong with you? Tell us, is it your dad? I thought you said he’s recovering?” Erica asked too.
“Guys!” Naomi sighed and Gwen stood up.
“Aren’t we friends? If you’re going through something then don’t be ashamed to share it with us, we had test today and you missed it, you’re neglecting your academic life” Gwen said softly.
Naomi sighed again and held Gwen’s heart.
“Dante helped me save my dad’s life and I owe him a lot, I’m working as his assistant that’s why I don’t really have time anymore” she explained.
“The heck! Dante is making you miss classes!” Erica stood up.
“He’s not considerate at all, you’re not him, that boy doesn’t care about class but you do, if you don’t talk to him about this then I will!” Erica added and Gwen nodded.
“I’m fine guys” Naomi sighed.
“No you’re not, you’ve missed classes and tests then how do you wanna write exam? I’m going to meet him now” Gwen turned to the door but Naomi held her back.
“I will talk to him about it tomorrow” she said.
“Promise?” Lucky asked and she nodded.
Erica was still glaring at her before she groaned and rolled her eyes.

<GONZALEZ’S CORP>
This place is Jace’s dad company, the door to an office opened and Jace stepped in with a middle aged man that looked like he was fit to be his father.
“Why’s this place so dirty?” The man asked.
“Where’s the cleaner assigned for cleaning my office?” He asked again.
A woman rushed in and bowed, she greeted the man and he glared at her.
“Didn’t you see my son too?” He said angrily.
The woman gasped and faced Jace, she greeted him too and Jace just nodded.
“The cleaner assigned for your office is not available sir so her daughter will be coming to replace her” she said and almost immediately there was a knock on the door.
“Come in” the man said and a familiar girl stepped in as soon as the door opened.
When Jace saw her, his eyes widened.
“Jenis?” He muttered and she froze when she saw him.
“And you are?” Mr Gonzalez voice rang on her ears and she looked away from Jace to face him.
“My mother use to be your personal office cleaner sir, she’s sick so I’m doing it for her” she replied slowly.
“Okay then get to work, this place is so disgusting!” Mr Gonzalez frustratedly left the office.
His female assistant left with him and Jace stared at Jenis for a while, she couldn’t look at him.
He turned around and left too.
“Shît” Jenis cursed to herself.

<VICENTE’S PLACE>
“Babe, leave some popcorn for me!” Shirley was dressed in a long sweater and long socks as she found her way to the couch where Vic was sitting.
She fell on his laps and hugged him tight to herself before taking some popcorn from his bowl and eating.
“What’s the name of this one?” She asked, pointing the movie on his TV.
“Chucky” he replied.
“Isn’t that like a horror movie? No babe in scared, let’s change it, where’s the remote?” She took the remote and tried turning off the TV.
“I swear if that TV turn off then I will make love to you on this couch till the next morning” he warned but she still daringly turned it off.
“I see, you’ve missed me” Vic smiled naughtily and turned around in such a way that he was on top of her in the couch and before he could do anything, his phone began ringing.
He sighed and picked, it’s from Dominic.
“Crazy boy, what do you want?” He asked angrily.
“I’m worried about something bro” Dominic sounded worried.
Vic sighed and stood up from Shirley who just pouted, she has been waiting for this since morning but all thanks to this Dominic guy, she won’t have it.
Vic switched the normal call to video call and truly Dominic looked worried, his hair was damped and face looked gloomy.
“What are you worried about?” Vic asked, almost rolling his eyes.
“What if dad is against my relationship?” Dominic asked with a kind of look.
Vic sighed and faced the screen.
“Then follow your heart, if you really want to be with her then you’ll know what to do” he replied.
“I really want to be with her Vic, she’s the best thing that’s happened to me so far but I don’t want dad to give her a hard time, I know how he can be” Dominic said worriedly.
“Take it easy with yourself bro, enjoy it why it last and you’ll sort yourself out if your dad wants to cause problem for you” he said.
Dominic nodded.
“You’re right, I will protect Gwen no matter what, thank you bro” he smiled.
“Welcome, now scram out of here!” Vic rolled his eyes and hang up.
He faced Shirley that was looking at him.
“Let’s continued from where we stop, I have a lot of things to do to you on this couch” he said while leaning closer to her to take her lips.
Shirley wanted to push him back but he pinned her to the couch and went ontop of her.

When Naomi got to the field, she met Dante stretching his body and she walked up to him.
“Good morning, how are you doing today?” She asked with a smile.
“I’m fine” he replied and continued stretching his arms.
“I want to talk to you about something” she said and he looked at her.
He stopped stretching and went to take his water.
“Shoot” he said as he opened the bottle to drink.
Naomi wanted to talk when the basketball coach suddenly walked in with Bruno who’s dressed in a sporty outfit.
“What’s he doing here?” Naomi asked but Dante held her hand and shook his head.
She kept quiet but was still squeezing her face.
“Dante Kruz, you know clearly that you were a substitute for Bruno right? Now he’s back so I think you might want to step down” coach Henry said.
“Coah-”
“What’s the matter Kruz? You suddenly don’t want to give me my post back?” Bruno cut him off.
“He deserves it more than you, I’ve never seen anyone work as hard as him in this field” Naomi opposed.
“I’ve told you girl that you know nothing about this so shut it” Bruno smirked but in an annoying way.
“She’s right, I worked hard for this place and you think I’ll just drop it all for you?” Dante said back.
“No matter how much you blabber, I’m still better than you” Bruno scoffed.
“You wish!” Naomi added.
“Enough!” Coach Henry said frustratedly.
“Let’s do it like this, if you want Dante stand here and if you want Bruno stand here” he added.
“Or… How about we compete for the sport” Bruno smirked and crossed his arms.
“Go on” Dante said.
“We will get to play and if you win, you’ll get to stay as the leader” Bruno replied.
“And what if you win? What will happen?” Naomi asked with a glare.
He looked at her with a kind of smile.
“If I win, I will get to sleep with you for a night” he replied and almost everyone gasped.
