“Look I got you breakfast” Naomi entered the room with a white nylon but Gwen kept facing the window.

“I’m not hungry” she muttered.

“You haven’t eaten since yesterday” Erica replied.

“How can I eat knowing that Dominic is in pain somewhere, is he even alive? I’m not hearing anything, I can’t reach him, I can’t find him, I don’t know where he is, I’m just lost” she burst out into another round of tears.

Naomi sighed and faced Erica.

“She is worse than Lucky” she muttered.

Soon Gwen’s phone began ringing and she checked immediately.

“School secretary, maybe they want to tell me about Dominic” she muttered and picked the call.

“If I’m speaking to Gwyneth Lee then head over to the secretary’s office’ the woman hung up.

“Is it Dominic?” Naomi asked.

“I don’t know, I have to go” she rushed out of the room immediately.

When Gwen got to the secretary office, she met Vic and Shirley sitting there.

“Come in Gwen, this people will love to speak to you” the secretary said and adjusted her glasses.

Gwen entered and sat on empty chair.

“Are you Gwen as in Dominic’s girlfriend?” Vic asked and Gwen spranged up immediately.

“Dominic? Do you know where he is? Is he fine, please tell me!!” She began begging like a mad person.

“Calm down girl, we are his relatives, my boyfriend is Dominic’s cousin” Shirley said.

“Is he fine? Is he okay?” Gwen asked in tears.

“He woke up this morning and was calling you name so we decided to bring you with us” Vic replied.

“I’ll go!” Gwen agreed immediately.

“Okay, come on then” Vic stood up.

The door opened and Vic stepped in with Gwen. The moment Gwen sighted Dominic laying on the bed, she rushed to him immediately.

“Bear, open your eyes I’m here” she said softly and the tears trickled down her cheeks tricked and touched his face.

His eyes slowly went open.

“Strawberry” he muttered.

“I’m here” she nodded her head repeatedly.

“Do you think we should leave?” Shirley asked and Vicente nodded.

“Aunt come on, let’s give your son and his girlfriend some personal space” Vic called.

Tears kept coming out of Judith eyes and she reluctantly left the room.

“I’m sorry” tears came out of Dominic’s eyes as Gwen caressed his face.

“It was all part of the plan, I had to do this to call off the engagement because my dad is really stubborn” he said slowly.

Gwen’s hands stopped moving from his cheeks.

“What?” Her eyes widened.

“I’m sorry” Dominic shut his eyes tight.

“All these were on purpose?” She asked again and tears fell from her eyes.

“That’s why I didn’t wanted to tell you, you wouldn’t agree with it” he muttered.

“Why would I agree with you endangering your life? What if you died!?” Gwen almost yelled.

“I won’t die, Livy’s boyfriend shot me in the place that can’t kill me, I’ll only just get hurt and it was in front of people so they’d take me to the hospital on time” Dominic replied.

“Livy’s boyfriend was behind the shooting!” Gwen stood up angrily.

“Where’s Livy?” She asked.

“They would use that opportunity to escape. I’m sorry I did all of this strawberry please don’t be mad at me” Dominic pleaded.

Gwen sat back on the chair, she didn’t know if she should cry or get angry at him or even be happy.

“I’m sorry strawberry, this would be the last time something like this will happen” Dominic pleaded.

“I don’t even know what to say” she muttered.

“Just this once darling, please” he pleaded and she moved closer to him then hugged him tight.

“Thank you” he smiled weakly before returning the hug.

Judith stepped in and met Gwen feeding Dominic some food to eat which he was receiving happily.

When Gwen noticed her, she stopped immediately.

Judith sighed and moved closer to them.

“It’s okay, I want to apologise son, I should stop your father with the way he does things sometimes” she muttered.

“Did he even come to see how I’m doing?” Dominic slowly asked.

When Judith didn’t reply, he got his answers.

“I promise to be a better mother from now on and I’ll try my best to make him a better father” she muttered.

Dominic didn’t reply and Judith left the room.

“Will you give your mother a second chance? Everyone deserves one” Gwen asked him.

“I don’t know, I mean she was not always there, dad was not always there, it’s just too hard to look away” he muttered.

“It’s always hard but it’s not too late to give her that chance. I can see it in her eyes that she really wants to change” Gwen said with a smile.

“I will try” he muttered and Gwen dropped the food before leaning to peck his lips.

Judith was sitting on the couch and stirring the hot cup of chocolate coffee she was holding.

The man left and she sipped from the chocolate before standing up.

“Your son is doing well if you care to ask” she said and president Jameson rolled his eyes and began going upstairs

“You know the thing with me is that I’m very stupid. I have the power to destroy you long ago but because of a stupid love I kept tolerating you but not anymore!” She shouted.

President Jameson paused on the third step and turned back to look at her.

“What are you saying?” She asked.

“To tell Dominic the truth, you’re not his real father, we are not his real parents. You kidnapped just to win my parents heart to be the president and I kept keeping quiet, he’s going to know the whole truth!!” She yelled.

“Don’t you dare” he snickered.

“Watch me Jameson, just watch me!” She turned around and began leaving.

“Judith!” President Jameson yelled and brought out his gun.

He pointed it at her and pulled the trigger, shooting her up to six times. There was so much rage and anger in his eyes.

However Dominic was standing by the door, his eyes was wide open with the scene he just saw.

His father was firing his gun at his mother like a maniac.

“Mummm!!!” He screamed and began running to the scene.
