In fact, it started from the very moment I was confirmed pregnant(I know naivety and fear fuelled most of the symptoms).

I was so sickly throughout the gestation period til the day of delivery. The one that broke the camel’s back was that, despite all my trouble in carrying that pregnancy, I still lost that child after birth. I didn’t hold the child nor breastfeed her for once.
My whole world turned upside down, I cried like there was no hope.
I wept inconsolably , nothing else mattered to me. I broke down at intervals especially when I see women we attended antenatal together with their own babies. I was almost depressed.
Something remarkable happened one day, something I will never forget in my life.
It was on a Sunday, a Thanksgiving service(you know those kinds of services that comes with child(ren) dedications). I was to lead the thanksgiving praise where the mothers will come forth with their babies for dedication(you shocked?, Yes, I am a chorister), as I mounted the podium and starting singing, immediately i sited those mothers with their adorable babies, I forgot myself. I was totally off, for some minutes, I didn’t remember myself, nor where I was, nor the song I raised.
I stood still with only instrumentalists playing away. The pastor noticed that something was wrong and beckoned on the instrumentalists to stop. That was when I realized myself. I climbed down the altar, dropped the mic, went back to my seat and buried my head on my hands and cried.
When I lifted up my head, God did something. He gave me a sign like He did to Moses at the burning bush. As I looked at the altar from my seat, I noticed that the breeze from the fans was blowing so hard on the decorations at the altar. When it blows, it will totally scatter the whole decorations out of shape but when it rotates to another side, the decoration materials will come back to shape as beautiful as nothing ever happened to it.
It continued like that, until I hear God tell me; your life now, is like that decoration, what you are going through now is like the fan blowing up and scattering that decoration (your life) but as the fan(storms) turns away and the decoration comes back to it’s original beautiful state, so shall your life go back to what i intended for you when all this(storm) is passed because it will pass. Immediately, I had peace and I bounced back to the service.
As I look back now after 11 years of that lost, I have them male and female complete. Of a truth, my life rearranged back after the storm. I am a proud mother of boys and girls now, not lacking any (to His glory).
I don’t know whose story is like mine today, I don’t know what you are going through, maybe you’ve also lost a child and think that all hope is lost or probably, you are believing God for the fruit of the womb, I want to tell you that God who showed up and rearranged my life, will do same for you in Jesus Name.
