“Who stabbed my father?” Naomi asked.
The officers looked at themselves before one of them started talking.
“According to the eye witnesses, this event happened in your home and only your parents were in” he said and took a good look and Naomi.
Naomi’s eyes were starting to well up again.
“Officer just say it please!” Dante rolled his eyes from where he was standing.
The officer sighed and continued.
“Your mom is detained by us, it was said that they were having an ugly quarrel which led your mom into doing that violence act” the officer said.
Naomi staggered backwards but Dante held her shoulders to keep her still.
“Are you saying… Are you saying that my mom stabbed my stabbed my dad?” She asked as she managed to breath.
“Yes and we’ll love to ask you some questions that led to this since you’re their child” the other officer replied.
Naomi covered her mouth his her palms as she tried stopping herself from wailing loudly but her tears didn’t stop flowing heavily.
“I can’t this believe this! How can she do that? Why did she do that? I know they fight all the time but why!” She burst out into another round of tears.
Dante held her trembling shoulders and looked at the officer.
“Please let her be for now, you’ll talk to her about this later” he said.
The officers looked at themselves before leaving.
“Why!??” Naomi cried out and Dante could only just rubbed her shoulders.

“You should go home” Naomi muttered.
They were both sitting on the long bench opposite the emergency room her father was in.
“If I leave, who’s going to watch over you when you start crying again” Dante replied and Naomi turned to look at him.
“It’s getting late, you probably have other
things to do” she muttered again.
Dante chuckled and huffed at the same time before shaking his head and facing his front.
“No matter what you say, I’m still watching over you, I don’t trust you to leave you alone by yourself” he said.
Naomi turned sharply to give him an annoying look.
“Since when did you start caring so much about me?” She asked and he looked at her immediately.
There was some silence for a while before he pointed his fingers at her, he was about to say something when the emergency door opened.
Naomi was quick enough to stand up.
“Miss Naomi Moore?” The doctor asked and she nodded immediately.
“Is my father okay?” She asked.
“Yes, thankfully the stab was not really too deep and he was rushed to the hospital on time so he didn’t lose too much blood” the doctor replied.
“Can I see him?” She said.
“Yes after the nurses takes him to his ward, rest assured that we’ll do everything we can to help him in Zonic hospital care” the doctor said with a smile.
Naomi nodded slowly.

It’s evening already, Lucky just came out of the girls hostel to see Jace standing outside as promised.
“Hi” she waved at him.
“Hey” he smiled and she suddenly began sniffing.

They didn’t stop kissing, they didn’t even hear any sound, he immediately turned around and left but came back to pick up his food then ran off again.
Lucky suddenly broke the kiss and gasped, she looked at Jace and blinked repeatedly then gulped.

“Are you okay?” Jace asked breathlessly.
She immediately stepped away from him and touched her lips.
“I… I need to go” was the next thing she said and before Jace knew it, she has already ran off.
He smiled as he remembered earlier then licked his lips, he could still taste her lipgloss.
