Am tired of all this…. it has to end. “I said to myself as i got into the kitchen to get myself stabed with a knife”.
My name is Jenny, will be sharing my misfortune and how it all ended.
I was just in JSS3, when i went to stay with my aunt at abuja for the holiday. Through out my childhood, have never been to any other state apart from this abia state my parents live. So i was eager to go out and see what other places looks like.
You need to see the excitement on my face when aunt Cynthia who just got married that year invited me to come stay with her in the city for the holidays since she’s always alone at home unless her husband returns.
Everyone in my home town heard of it. I was so happy that finally i would be living my parents house to some kinda adventure.
The next day I got my things ready and went to the park, got there, made every necessary payment and vooommm the vehicle left.
I was happy and over excited, my mom called me on the phone not to long the car left. Jennifer are you sure you can go to abuja alone?
“ah mommy, the car has left ooo. I will be fine don’t worry am a big girl”

I got to abuja, it’s late already. Called aunt Cynthia on the phone to inform her about my wearabout because she’s been directing me all this while.
“Just stay there Jenny, my husband will be coming to pick you up. I heard her said on the phone”.
Though I was tired but it can’t surpass my happiness for being to abuja for the first time. it’s a beautiful city i murmured… just then, a car drove and parked right beside me.
Jennifer!!! he called out.
It’s my uncle … aunt Cynthia’s husband.
Good evening sir, i greated. Hmmm… Jennifer you’ve grown so big ooo. like; to even think you came to abuja by yourself. How’s everyone at home?

Wow…. The air conditioner in the car was just so refreshing, the music was cool too.
To me, I thought I came to enjoy life a little before going back to abia not knowing i was going into the den of pains and misfortune.
Not long enough, the black gate opened on it’s own. I was in awe, the house was so fine and big. Rumor had it that aunt Cynthia got married to a very Rich man but i didn’t know he was this rich.

That night we all ate and went to bed, the next morning was Saturday. Aunt Cynthia was cleaning up her kitchen and every other part of the house.
Aunty, let me do it na. ” i blurted”
Are you sure you can do this? i started laughing… Okay ordinary cleaning is what i can’t do. But, if am at the village now Mama will be draging us to the farm.
Okay oooh… take the rag and continue from here. I will be going to the market now.
Ok ma. ” that was my respons and i watched her left for the bathroom”.
I got to work, cleaning the kitchen sets, the basket and every other thing in the kitchen. Just then, her husband, my uncle, came into the kitchen and was looking at me desperately. Now he refuses to leave the kitchen as his eyes were fixed on my body.
I know what it means for a guy to be looking at a woman in such manners but i didn’t think of it tomuch. Am just 15 and am still a child.
I ignoreed it and continued with what i was doing, maybe that’s their way of living because he was sitting at the small dinner table in the kitchen drinking coffee he made for himself. So, i felt that where he stays and drink his coffee.
Jenny, am living will be back soon. My aunt said as she closes the door and left.
Okay ma, buy something for me even though i knew she didn’t hear it.
Not upto 5mins she left, i felt my uncle’s hand holding my waist tightly and robbing his manlyboded so hard at my back.
