Nana sat down on the couch in Grandma’s apartment crying her eyes out after what grandma told her in the afternoon. She couldn’t believe her ears. She couldn’t believe that the people who has been her neighbor for one month was her grandmother and her younger sisters.

🧚Earlier in the Afternoon 🧚

Nana cleared her throat. “Excuse me ma’am” Nana said with courtesy. “Oh it’s nothing my dear. So where are your parents. I have been longing to ask you” Grandma said.

“They are both dead” Nana said in a low tone. Grandma felt pity for nana immediately. “Oh heavens! i am sorry. ” Grandma apologized. “It’s nothing Grandma, Vidah and Finn are dead like 2 years ago. Ever since i lived by myself” Nana explained.

Grandma widened her eyes in shock as she stared at Nana. “Vidah and Finn?” Grandma asked.
“Yes,The name of my dad and my mum is vidah and Finn.” Nana replied.

“What is your real name? I mean your birth name. And how old are you” Grandma asked.

“Nanare Johnson, I am 25 years old” Nana said.

“Nanare? Oh heavens” Grandma said.
“Did i say anything wrong grandma?” Nana asks.

“My granddaughter, Nanare.” Grandma said still looking at Nana.

“Your granddaughter?” Nana asked in confusion.

“Yes! You are my granddaughter nanare” Grandma said sharply.

Nanare stood up in shock.”But..no way. how is that possible. I don’t even know you” Nana said sharply.

“Vidah is my daughter. She gave birth to you Nanare. She gave birth to you. You are my granddaughter” Grandma repeated.

“That is not possible grandma, my mom vidah and finn are dead long ago. 2 years ago so how is that possible ”

Grandma explained what had happened in the past to Nanare.
Nanare cried her eyes out.Everything seems to be true to nana.

Nanare hugged Grandma and felt real comfortable with her.

Later in the night 🌌

Nana sat on the couch crying her eyes out. She knew she was not supposed to cry but for the fact that her parent was dead. Both Finn and Vidah.

 Both Remita and Naomi looked at each other in surprise. "Our parents?" Remita asked in surprise.

“Our older sister?” Naomi asks also.

“Yes! You have to know the truth before it is too late. Come with me” Grandma said and head towards their apartment.

Remita followed Grandma absentmindedly. She was really so excited to know what really happened to her parent but a part of her was sad. She didn’t know why.

   Naomi shrugged and frowned seeing Remita. But she was also excited to know about her parent. For the fact she knew that Grandma has never told them anything about who really gave birth to both of them.

She followed.

Grandma, Remita and Naomi entered the apartment and saw nanare sitting. Nana wiped her tears before they could see her.

“Sisters” Nana said with tears again. She stood up and walked towards Remita holding her cheek.

Remita was confused totally.

“Sisters?” Naomi said and smirked.

Nana walked towards Naomi and attempted to hold her but naomi shifted away from her.
“What the hell is going on?” Naomi said and stared at Grandma. She seems confused too.

Confusion in the air!

“We are sisters!” Nana repeated.

“Sisters?” Naomi frowned.
“We are sisters?” Remita asked.

“Yes! The three of you are sisters. Nanare is your older sister. You are all related by blood” Grandma said in happiness.

“That is impossible.” Naomi said in shock.
“Everything is possible Naomi” Nana replied.

 Grandma sat down. "You should all sit. it is time to hear the truth" Grandma said.

Nana sat down. Remita sat down. Naomi shrugged and she sat.

“It all started 25 years ago” grandma began.

“25 years ago? we weren’t even born then” Naomi interrupted.
“Yes, we are 15. Remember?” Remita said.

Naomi glared hard at Remita.
“Vidah which is my daughter, got pregnant at the age of 15, I was so angry and mad at her. Then I asked her who was responsible for the pregnancy. She was so ashamed to tell me who it was. Then after shouting at her she told me it was Finn. I was so mad and angry at her because finn turned out to be a bad guy at that time. But later i accepted my fate. Vidah gave birth to a girl which she refused to name. I named her nanare. I took care of nanare, nurtured her because at that particular time your mother vidah was still going to school. She promised me never to move any closer to finn ever again. I agreed with her then she faced her studies with no distraction. Everything returned back to the way it was. not until after 10 years, vidah went back to finn again and she got pregnant and she gave birth to twins. She was so ashamed again and she ran away with fin and Nanare. I was so sad and unhappy then i began taking care Remita and Naomi till this very day” Grandma narrated the painful past.

Tears dropped from Remita’s eyes.
Naomi tried to held in her tears. Nanare began crying again.

“No! This is unbelievable!” Naomi said and nodded negatively.

“But Grandma, Is Mom still alive and dad?” Remita asks.

Nanare nodded negatively. “No!” Nanare replied. “What happened to them?” Naomi asks.

“They both died in a car accident, 2 years ago” Nana said.

Remita sobbed.

“No, this can’t be true” Naomi said and entered her room. She slammed the door.

“Do you have any pictures of her on your phone?” Remita asked.

“no, I don’t have it anymore but I will help search for it” Nana assured Remita.
“You don’t Have to bother, I don’t want to see her face.” Remita said firmly.

“but why?” Nana said.
“Leaving us with grandma for 15 years without coming to check on us. She turned her back on us. leaving us with grandma to take care of us on her own. That is not Fair!” Remita said and she went to her room.

“We will talk about it tomorrow when the twins are calm” Grandma said.

“Yes Grandma” Nana said and she was about to leave but grandma stopped her.

“No,you can sleep here. we have one more room available and because you are my granddaughter as from now on, you will live here with us. I don’t want you staying far from us” Grandma said.

“Yes grandma” nana said with smile and hugged Grandma.

…Morning 🌟

“Remita, Remita… I love you ” Red said in his sleep. It was obvious he was dreaming of his Remita.

He sprang up when something poured on his face.
Red opened his eyes and saw Daniel and Jeremy staring at him.

“So you have started dreaming of Remita right?” Jeremy said and gave the bowl of water to the maid.

The maid left.
“Fuck! When was I dreaming of her? That water was fucking cold.” Red said and wrapped his blanket around him on the bed.
” You kept calling her name while sleeping, You don’t want Sophie to see you calling her” Jeremy muttered.
” We aren’t dating anymore, we broke up!” Red said firmly.
Jeremy and Daniel looked at each other and laughed.
” is it funny at all?” Red asked and frowned his face. “So what if it is funny? i knew you two won’t last long” Daniel pouted.
” Well i dont care! I like Remita now” Red said.
jeremy chuckled. Daniel winked.

” Isn’t it obvious? i and Jeremy knows that you love Remita. We saw you both yesterday at that old cottage. We left because we didn’t want to ruin your moment with her ” Daniel said.

Jeremy checked his wristwatch. "We are running late" Jeremy announced. 

“Get your ass up and use the bathroom” Daniel said.
“I am sleepy. I don’t wanna go” Red said cutely with a sleepy eye.
“Sleepy head! Get up yo” Jeremy said.
Both Jeremy and Daniel pulled Red up from his bed.

“You don’t want Remita to be with another guy right?” Daniel said.
“I am gonna kill the guy” Red said and entered his bathroom.

He did his hygiene and Put on his clothes. He dressed up.

Nana arranged her luggage in grandma’s apartment.
Then she came out of her room. Remita drank the tea on the table. She was fully dressed.

Naomi ate her sandwich on the couch while staring at her phone like she was waiting for a call. Grandma was in the kitchen.

“Hey sisters!” Nana said happily.
“Good morning” Remita said.

“Morning Nana” Naomi said. She already accepted the fact that Nana is their older sister but she couldn’t bring herself to forgive Vidah and Finn for abandoning them.

The hatred Naomi has for Remita hasn’t changed.

“You girls should really get to know each other” Grandma said.

“Yes grandma” Remita said.

“You girls are running late. Let’s go” Nana said.

 Nana drove them to school. 

“Today is Tuesday right? On Saturday we will go out to know each other better” Nana said happily.
“Wow, so where are we going? To the mall, to the restaurant.” Naomi said.
” Anywhere you want to go sisters. I have a lot of cash. We can go shopping. we can go see the movies or anything” Nana said.
“Yes! I saw a bag online. it’s really beautiful. I really want it” Naomi said.
Remita didn’t join in their conversation. She was busy staring at her phone.
“So where do you wanna go Remita?” Nana said while driving. “To a book collection, I wanna get a novel from there. Don’t worry you don’t have to pay it’s free” Remita said.
“Oh never mind! i have got a lot of money” nana said.
” Don’t bother your self sister, remita loves cheap, ugly things” Naomi said.
“Well at least I don’t have to worry about spending much money on useless things” Remita savaged Naomi.

Naomi glared at her. “whatever” That was all Naomi could say.

Nana dropped them off at Melody High school gate.
” Bye!” Naomi bade goodbye to Nana.
“Bye” Nana said.
Naomi went in without waiting for Remita.
“About the necklace.” Remita said.
“I will go there in the afternoon” Nana said.

“Bye” Remita said and she went in.Nana left.

Remita went straight to her sit without talking to anyone.She got looked at as usual but ignored them.

“When will they all stop staring at me?” Remita muttered and brought out her laptop.

Then suddenly a tall, handsome, guy walked to her. He wasn’t as handsome as Red, jeremy, Daniel. He wasn’t bad.

“Hi, I am Darren. I just got transferred today. I think you are cool so I felt like we should be friends” Darren said.

Remita raised her head and stared at darren.
