    Police Operatives From Abuja Storm Benin City Again, As PDP Supporters Decry Intimidation

     

    Concerns have been raised in Benin City as plain-clothed police operatives from Abuja have stormed the Edo state capital to intimidate Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporters as the governorship election approaches.

    According to several sources, a contingent of police officers arrived in the state capital on Tuesday, August 13 under the guise of undercover operations.

    The operatives are engaging in actions designed to intimidate PDP supporters, sympathizers, and leaders and create an atmosphere of fear and hostility ahead of the election.

    “This is anti-democratic. They want to make the state hostile for us so we won’t be available during the elections. We are deeply concerned about these developments,” one of the PDP supporters told journalists in Benin.

    The recent influx of police operatives from Abuja has raised alarm among political observers and the public.

    Allegations have surfaced suggesting that the police actions are not neutral but rather part of a scheme to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming election.

    The timing and nature of the police activities have led to suspicions that some high-ranking officials might be involved in manipulating the police to further their political agenda.

    Notably, fingers are pointing towards Senator Adams Oshiomhole, a former governor of Edo State now representing Edo North in the Senate, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio. Both are alleged to be influential figures in the ongoing political maneuvering.

    Critics argue that these actions undermine the democratic process and cast a shadow over the integrity of the upcoming election.

     

    The PDP has condemned the reported intimidation efforts and called for immediate intervention to ensure a free and fair election.

     

    “The involvement of police operatives in what appears to be a politically motivated campaign is deeply troubling.

     

    “We demand transparency and accountability from the authorities and expect them to uphold the principles of democracy,” a PDP chieftain said.

    As election day approaches, the tension in Edo State continues to escalate, especially with the presence of the undercover police operatives.

    Police Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi has shared reasons why crossdressers in Nigeria cannot be arrested or prosecuted.

    The PRO was asked how the police are responding to the crossdressing crisis in Nigeria involving the likes of Bobrisky, James Brown, Jay Boogie and so on during an interview on Channels TV.

    According to Muyiwa Adejobi, certain cases are extremely challenging to prove. Citing rape case as an example, he said that there are numerous elements that need to be proven and failing to prove one of them could result in a case being dismissed in court.

    In his opinion, you cannot arrest someone you want to prosecute without having credible evidence against them.

    He further stated that crossdressing is not illegal in Nigeria to the best of his knowledge but the allegations on crossdressers are based on natural offences and requires credible evidence to be prosecuted.

    So it was understood that Big Mama was just a business woman who was trying to help the woman and because the husband of the woman didn’t give her money she went to look for money her own ways….

    He looked at me as if to attack then to the presido, then back to me. ” I said move! before I descend on you !”. He commanded half shouting.

    “If you touch me again! you will regret it” I said getting agitated inside.

    The so called presido called from where he was:

    “What’s the problem?! ” he shouted.

    “This guy is forming Rambo o”. He said vibrating as if waiting for an order to attack.

    The other guy standing beside the presido jumped up and down and said:

    “Presido let’s remove his teeth na! Haa!” Biting his finger.

    “OK! remove his teeth!” The presido commanded.

    At once they both attached me like two hungry wild dogs. I had no little space for balance so they had their way punching, kicking. All I did was to protect my face while they descended on me.

    Suddenly an opportunity arrived. My head went beside the guy putting on trousers waist, so I held his legs and supported his weight with my shoulder, lifted him up with all the strength I can gather and threw him on the ground beside the presido who sprang up immediately. I fell on my knees bruised my hand in the process, with the guy under me. Then left two hot punches on his nose the moment I got my balance, I almost broke a finger in the process.

    The presido who was now standing, gave a hard kick on my back, and he attempted another but this time I quickly turned, grabbed his leg, pulled with all my strength backwards and he went over on the floor. I jetted up following him. Left my knee on his face, he screamed in agony. The other guy who has standing held me on the neck from behind as I tried to land another one on the presido and dragged me backwards. I struggled up, lifted myself pushing backwards with all my weight on him and he hit his head on the wall as he fell over. I turned to him, slammed again his head on the wall twice, before the presido rushed and held me on my neck with is arm crossed over and the other guy joined in. He tried to free my grip from his colleague. I pushed backwards a little to gain a little space, bent myself with full force pushing my waist upwards throwing the presido over and he fell beside me. I left some blows on his face before the other two guys landed on my head, hitting recklessly. I quickly ran forward to gain space, they both followed in fierce attacked. I pulled myself with all the strength in me, used my shoulder to push down the first guy that got to me. He fell so hard that his head land on the Iron protector. I suddenly noticed the police men has been watching excitedly.

    The other guy wasted no time to mount on me. He kicked and blow me anywhere he caught. The presido joined him. This time I was tired but my life was at stake here. So I jumped on the guy hitting me, neglecting the punches from the presido, held his neck, came closer to his ears and bite off his ear lope, held it between my teeth showing it off aggressively. The guy gave a loud cry that made the police interverne while the presido and the guy in trouser ran away from me in horror.
