“Common Opal, we are running late. You know have got to be there before Aaron receive his award” Andrea said.
“Why don’t you go ahead first, I will join you soon enough” Opal told her and immediately, Andrea left the mansion.
She was about running down to the bus stop when a car stop beside her.
The screen was winded down and she saw Ryan Winter in the car.
Andrea stood still wondering if she should get in or not. Ever since the day Aaron found out the truth, his father left the mansion claiming to be out on a business trip and he didn’t return until today but Andrea and everyone else knew he was avoiding Aaron just as Aaron didn’t want to see him.
“Get in or you will be late for the ceremony” Ryan said opening the back seat door for her.
“You must be wondering why am here, right?” Ryan ask when Andrea was seated beside him.
“You’ve been gone for a month and we all have been worried” Andrea told him.
“How can I show my face after what I did to my sons. I thought it was the best thing for him by keeping quiet about you but then once again, I hurt him and there is Anthony. All the poor boy wanted was my affection but have only been using him for my gain. I feel like the most useless father on earth” Ryan said.
“I won’t be surprised if they don’t acknowledge me as their father someday” Ryan said sadly.
“Why don’t we go to the award ceremony and find out” Andrea replied, smiling at the old man.
The award itself is a ceremony prepared by sunshine high and recently, Aaron along with two other student participated in a tennis championship game and won for them.
It wasn’t just a small win, it was a big one. It was on the news which led to more awareness to sunshine high and to more money for the school head which is why he threw them the award ceremony.
Sitting beside his father, Andrea watch Aaron being called to the podium where he was presented his award.
She felt so very proud of him and couldn’t wait to give him a kiss when they are finally alone but first thing is first, father and son have to reconcile, Andrea thought as she went to give Aaron a hug.
“You look so handsome my champion” Andrea praise, earning a kiss on the cheek from him.
“Where are the others?” Aaron ask not yet noticing his dad.
“Waiting at the restaurant I book for an after party but someone else came for you” Andrea said, turning to stare at Ryan who walk towards the both of them.
“I know am the last person you want to see right now but I had to come see you, I thought the best thing for you two will be to stay away but…”
“I miss you, dad” Aaron said, hugging the old man.
Ryan smiled and hug his son and that was how Anthony met them when he arrive.
” A reunion without me?” Anthony ask as he join in the hug.
Andrea watch the three of them and a smile tilt her lips.
Ryan had been wrong by trying to take control of his son’s life and Anthony had been wrong by doing things Ryan ask of him even if it was bad and as for Aaron, he is the victim in all this but he’s definitely in trying to keep his father at bay.
Anyway, the three winter family are back together and the only thing left is….the after party.

“Is everyone here yet?” Andrea ask starring at Aaron, Anthony, Opal, Jack, Ben, Nina and Stephanie who are all present in the room.
“We all are” Opal answered, smiling lovingly at Jack.
Though it has taken him a while to break her barrier, Jack ended up winning Opal heart and this is third week they’ve been dating.
“I want us to make a toast?” Andrea said, moving towards them.
“Are we allowed to drink that. We are still minor” the all practical Ben said as Nina put a chips into his mouth.
When Opal had been lost to him, he decided to give up and stay single but a determine Nina have been stalking him around and she’s sure that someday, he’s going to accept her into his life.
“Am not toasting with alcohol. I brought us all apple juice” Andrea inform and they all groan except for Ben who gave her a thumbs up.
“And who uses apple juice to make a toast, that’s ridiculous” Sharon spoke as she walk into the room carrying two bottle of champagne.
“Oh no! Here she comes again” Anthony groan as Sharon sat beside him, smiling at him.
After getting over her obsession on Aaron, she fell for Anthony and have been doing her best to earn Anthony’s love
“I know you love having me around. You don’t have fake a grumble” Sharon said to Anthony who ignored her.
“And you Andrea, why didn’t you invite me?” Sharon ask.
“Well that’s because…”
“I told her not to” Anthony cut into Andrea words.
“I know you are only going to bring…” The rest of his words were left unsaid when Sharon kiss him earning a blush from Anthony.
“This girl is a psycho” Stephanie let out joke fully.
“Definitely a psycho” Aaron echoed.
“You can go ahead” Sharon said to Andrea when she ended the kiss while Anthony sat still, lightly touching his lips.
Andrea smile since she knew that soon enough, Anthony will be happy with a girl who loves him.
Some of them still doubt Sharon but Andrea knew that Sharon is desperately in love with Anthony and that that will keep her on the right track.
Aaron filled their glasses with Champagne and handed Andrea her own glass.
“I know this is meant to be Aaron’s day but I just want to use this moment to thank you all. Thanks Opal for being there for me, thanks Ben for being the first friend I made in sunshine high, thanks Nina and Stephanie for always being there for me and I hope that we will all keep playing basketball as a team”
“Definitely ” Nina and Stephanie said in unison.
“And there is Anthony. I can still remember the first day we met and I know you still think of me as crazy. Well, I hope our friendship last and I also hope that you and Aaron will keep being the best of brothers” Andrea said as Aaron and Anthony stared at each other both smiling.
“And lastly,there is my David. The one who brought me here and made me find true friend and family. Am grateful to you Aaron and I forever will” Andrea said to him.
“So do I my love” Aaron said, moving towards her to give her a kiss on the forehead.
“Aren’t you forgetting someone?” Sharon said as they all burst into laughter.
“The day you quit being a witch, we will definitely acknowledge you” Opal was the one to reply.
“Fine then. Am going to show you all that have change and you are going to Accept me then” Sharon let out hotly and once again they all burst into laughter.
“Cheers to happiness, to youth and to love” Andrea said and everyone chorus after her.
