“You want us to study at Sunshine high?” Anthony ask, starring at his stepfather and then at a quiet Aaron, sitted beside him.

“I want you guys to study there. Sunshine high will give you two more exposure, I heard there’s a dorm where everyone will stay till break. Fending and working for your self will make you two more independent” Ryan Winter said to his two sons.

“But we are independent. Even if we don’t go to sunshine high, we can take care of ourselves” Anthony said.

Aaron chuckle.

“Is something funny, Aaron?” Ryan asked.

“It’s just so funny how he said the we? I mean what the hell does he know about me to say such a thing?” Aaron demanded, glaring at his father and at Anthony.

“Aaron you…”

“Once again, you decided about my life without discussing it with me” Aaron said cutting his father off.

“You know it isn’t like that Aaron” Anthony spoke.

“What is it like then? You know the truth but you choose to be blinded by it. He’s a dictator and whatever he wants must be done no matter what. I have no problem going to whatever f**king school you choose for me but I hate it when you make decisions without consulting me first, it’s so damn annoying, dad” Aaron said and left the study.

He was about taking the stairs to his room when Anthony caught up with him.

“You didn’t have to say that to him. You know father wants the best for you” Anthony said as Aaron pulled off his hand.

“You know, I hate it when you act like we are close in front of my father”

“We are close”

“Were! We were close but not anymore” Aaron snap at him.

“Until when will you get over the past? The thing with Lucy happen many years ago, why can’t you….”

“Not another word and never you mention that girl name to me again. I hate it just as much as I hate you and my father” Aaron said before going upstairs leaving Anthony watch him leave.

<< NEXT DAY~ DAY OF ENROLLMENT >>

Andrea slept on the bed with her mouth wide open, snoring as loud as an elephant when Opal rush into the room.

“Wake up Andrea! Wake up! You need to head to sunshine high for your enrollment!” Opal said as her lids flutter open.

“Enrollment is until tomorrow” Andrea said drowsily.

“It isn’t! They change it and its taking place today. You need to hurry cause it’s gonna end soon” Opal said as Andrea got up quickly.

“But how do you know, I wasn’t given a notification”

“I heard master Anthony talking about it. Turns out they will be studying at Sunshine high too” Opal replied as she help set out a clothe for Andrea.

“What! Are you for real?”

“I am but that should be the least of your worry. Get your things and leave before the enrollment ends, I heard that once you miss the enrollment today, you won’t get a dorm at school” Opal told her.

The next few hours was filled with Andrea waiting for the bus, when she could wait no more, she got a taxi which ended up getting caught in the heavy traffic.

At the end of everything, Andrea ended up walking to sunshine high, she got to the school premises in the evening.

After being scolded by the school head, she was assign to her dorm but little did she know that it’s the same dorm with Aaron and Anthony.

<< PRESENT MOMENT >>

“Shouldn’t we be asking what you are doing in our dorm” Anthony said in return.

“Don’t tell me, you two are my room mate!” Andrea yell, starring at the two jerks.

“I think there’s been a problem somewhere. The dorm is just a two people room, it isn’t meant for three” Anthony said, pushing Aaron off of him.

“I was told to come here except the school head made a mistake” Andrea said.

“Sharing the same room with Anthony already makes me mad and now, I have to do the same with you ” Aaron said, glaring at the two of them before going to the room on the right.

“Give me a sec” said Anthony as he place a call.

Andrea watch him talk on the phone, hoping he will have a solution to this chaos on ground.

“Seems like the school head can’t do a thing about it. We’ve been paired to share the same room for the semester” Anthony said after ending the call.

“Oh no! I don’t want to stay in the same room with you jerks” Andrea said out loud.

“Jerks? I also don’t want to stay in the same room with a looney like you. As soon as I can, am going to find a way to get you out of this place” Anthony said.

“And mind you, we only have two room. Seems like you will be sleeping on the couch or you can just share with the grumpy dude” Anthony added, smiling wickedly before going into his room.

“Damn the school head, damn Sunshine high,damn these jerks and damn David…no! I take back the last one” she said, a smile tilting her lips as she thought of David.

She has come a long way and she’s not going to give up, even if it means sharing the dorm with this two jerks.

Since Aaron is aware of her secret, he will be more accommodating, she thought.

She knock twice on the door and when there was no reply, she went into the room and at that moment, Aaron just pulled off his shirt, leaving his naked chest in view.

“Do you do this on purpose?” Andrea asked.

“I thought I made it clear to you that I don’t want to see you again” Aaron said, turning to her.

“Well Er…it’s not really my fault. You saw that I was also force to come here, so why don’t we just forget about everything and start again, we will be room mate for three years and…”

“You plan on staying here for three years? Aren’t you scared that your secret will be out?” Aaron asked.

“I am scared but I won’t leave until I accomplish my goal. You promise not to tell anyone, right?”

“I gave you my word. Don’t get me angry by repeating it over and over again”

“Sorry! So…you don’t mind us sharing the same room, right. Since you know my secret, it will be more safer with you” Andrea said, watching Aaron approach her.

He stood very close to her and slowly, his arms went around her waist to pull her to him.

“Are you sure it’s more safe with me? Aren’t you scared that I might just leap on you at night” Aaron said to a wide eye Andrea.

“Y..you wouldn’t… you hate me” Andrea stuttered, suddenly feeling breathless.

“I do hate you but I don’t mind having a warm body beside me at…”

“I will take the couch, goodnight!” A scared Andrea said, leaving the room in a rush.

Andrea stood still, hoping he would stop the horse but instead Aaron kept riding towards her, a look of stubbornness on his face too.

He was about to get to her when she jump out of the way, landing hard on the hard grass.

Aaron stop the horse to see Andrea on the floor, unconcious.

He quickly got off the horse and ran to an unconcious Andrea at the same time, the stable manager got to where they were.

“Go get help” Aaron ordered the manager who immediately ran off to do his bidding.

“Hey! Wake up! Why the hell will you get in my way” Aaron said worriedly wanting to pick her up and Andrea chose to that moment to stop her pretence.

“You aren’t heartless after all” she said, sitting up and scaring the life out of Aaron.

“Was that a prank!” He yelled at her.

“It’s the only way I could get you to talk to me” Andrea replied.

“You know, there are times when I want to strangle you” Aaron said and stood up, going back to his horse.

Seeing him angry, Andrea went after him and held onto his leg.

“What the…let go of me!” He said trying to pull his leg from her hold but she tighten her arms around it.

“I know you might think me stupid for being this clingy and annoying but I have no choice. It’s already choking enough disguising myself as a boy but being found out by you has been more choking for me, I keep wondering when my secret will be spilled and if my friend will have to suffer for lying for my sake, it’s just so….” She let the word trail off.

“If I say your secret is safe with me will that be enough” Aaron said after letting out a sigh.

“Really? You mean you aren’t going to say a thing?” Andrea asked, starring from where she knelt on the floor and he nodded in return.

“You have my word now f**king let go of my leg” he said.

She let it go and got off the grass, grinning widely.

“I got you this whip” she said, giving him the new whip.

“Agreeing to keep your secret for you doesn’t make us friends. You are those kinds of people I hate and I don’t want to get involve in your nonsense and so…my mouth will remain sealed as long as you stay out of my sight. Are we good on that?” Aaron asked.

“It’s fine with me” Andrea replied hating the arrogant way he talks.

Just a few more days and she will begin sunshine high where she will be staying in the school dorm, away from the likes of this rude jerk.

As far as she knows, The Winter brothers aren’t attending sunshine high, people like they are given private lessons by top notch tutors.

Happily, Andrea went back to house, going through the kitchen.

She was whistling to herself when she got to the kitchen.

Anthony who was about drinking his water immediately stop when he saw the looney guy.

How on earth did he get in here? Anthony thought as he pulled out his phone wanting to call for help.

“What’s up” Andrea greeted as she walk towards him to stand in front of him.

“Wh…is your lunacy acting up again? Do you need me to get your meds?” A frighten Anthony ask.

“Meds or no meds, am completely fine cause just a few more days, I will be out of here” Andrea said, grinning like a fool.

She took his glass cup which had water in it and drain it’s content, belching like a sheep when she finish drinking.

“That’s so refreshing” Andrea said.

“You just drank from my glass” Anthony said.

“I know and while some people might think of it as gross, I think of it as kissing indirectly. You and I just share a kiss” Andrea said, teasing him again.

“See you Mr kiss” she added lightly and left the kitchen.

Anthony felt cringe, he immediately pick up the glass to throw it in the bin.

“Psycho” he added and left the kitchen before he’s forced to see the psycho again.

Andrea was about opening the door when it open itself.

Her room mate must be in already, she thought as she open the door to go in.

But the sight of Aaron tossing Anthony on the floor made her pause.

“What are you two jerks doing in my room?” She yelled at them.

“Got nothing to say? I clearly remember you had a lot of things to say when we were stuck in the restroom earlier” he spoke jolting her out of her reverie.

“Er…I think you’ve got it wrong…am not…” Andrea was save from giving a reply when the door was pushed open from the outside.

“Oh! Am sorry master Aaron. I thought no one was there” Opal said, her eyes widening when she saw Andrea in the room with him.

“You could have knock before opening the door” Aaron snap at Opal who bowed her head.

Seeing he was distracted, Andrea chose to escape, dashing down the stairs in a jiffy without looking back.

Getting to Opal’s room, she began breathing in and out heavily.

Just a day and she’s been caught, what’s she going to do if he speaks? Will Opal lose her job? Will she be kicked out ?

She kept worrying until Opal showed up an hour later.

“What the hell was that about?” Opal question the moment she got in.

“I ran into him at a restaurant today. He recognized me even with my disguise and…”

“Don’t tell me he saw you as your true form at the restaurant?” Opal asked.

“He did” she said, explaining the restaurant story to her friend.

“What if he tells on me and get you fired? ” Andrea asked her friend.

“That’s true. I might end up getting fired and I don’t want that. You will end up staying in the dorm at your school but I…I will go back to living on the street” Opal said worriedly.

“No! Am going to do something about it, I won’t let you get in trouble because of me. That Aaron guy will end up keeping his mouth shut” Andrea said with determination.

“What do you plan to do?” Opal asked.

“Everything. Am going to do everything so he keeps shut but you need to tell me things about him, little detail which will be useful” Andrea said.

Hours later, the both of them stood at the kitchen starring at the strawberry cake they spent their afternoon making.

“Do you think this will work?” Andrea ask Opal.

“Definitely. We all know how much master Aaron loves strawberry cake, he even sneaks out at night to buy it, with this in hand, he will definitely give you a hearing ear” Opal assure.

“Wish me luck” Andrea said, fixing her wig properly before taking the cake upstairs.

It was evening time and so he definitely will be in his room.

She knock twice and when there was no answer, she began tapping on it playfully, making her favourite beat out of it when the door open to reveal a half naked Aaron.

His hair was wet and it kept dripping down her naked chest, sliding over his packs and flat tummy and into the towel which hid his most important part.

Andrea swallow hard before forcing her gaze on his face.

“Sorry for intruding but I got something for you? Guess what it is?” She said, raising a brow at him.

His answer was to shut the door but Andrea was quick in stopping the door closing.

She quickly force her way in, setting the cake on one of his desk.

“What the hell are you doing?” Aaron asked, crossing his arm against his chest.

“I came to give you this cake as a peace offering. I realise that if am going to stay here, I have to apologise for what I did earlier and so…here it is” Andrea said sweetly.

“That’s not an apology cake, it’s more like a bribe cake. You didn’t come to apologise right? You are here to ask me to help you hide your secret?” He asked, guessing the truth himself.

“Of course not. I really came here to apologise, why not just try out this cake, I heard it’s your favourite” Andrea said as she cut a slice of the cake and took it to him.

“There’s no way in hell am going to eat that….” Andrea put a forkful of cake in his mouth, cutting his sentence off.

“Sweet right?” Andrea ask, watching him chew it.

“Look, I have no intention of meddling in your affair, so get lost before you end up getting me mad and I change my mind” he said.

“Thanks dude” A smiling Andrea said and headed for the door but she got a message from Opal at that moment.

★ I FED IT TO HIM MYSELF ★ Andrea texted in return, feeling so proud.

★ THEN GET OUT OF THERE AS FAST AS YOU CAN. WE MISTAKENLY ADDED LAXATIVE INTO THE INGREDIENT AND IF HE HAS EATEN IT, HE’S DEFINITELY GOING TO VISIT THE TOILET ALL NIGHT AND YOU WILL BE IN TROUBLE★

Andrea was still at the door when she read Opal text.

She took a peek at Aaron, only to see him holding his stomach while farting not once but twice and even thrice.

“What the hell did you give me!” He yelled and immediately, Andrea ran off, making a mess of things again.

<< MORNING >>

Dressed in another boyish outfit, Andrea stood by the window starring at nothing while deep in thought.

The moment Opal walk in, she quickly move away from the window.

“Is everything okay with Aaron?” Andrea asked.

“For now he’s okay since he only took a little of the cake last night”

“Why didn’t we notice that the colouring we poured in the cake was laxative? He will think I did it on purpose” Andrea said worriedly.

“Which is why have found another way for you to earn his apology. I got this from the market this morning” Opal said, handing her a new horse whip.

“Master Aaron goes to the stable every morning and I heard the stable worker saying he broke his whip yesterday morning, you can take this to him as a form of apology and win his heart again” Opal explain.

“You think it’s gonna work?” Andrea ask unsure.

“It definitely will, now go and help me keep my job and your identity a secret forever. Good luck” Opal said as she pulled her out of the room.

It wasn’t hard to find the stable but it was quite hard for her to find Aaron.

She pass by a stable room only to go back again.

There was Aaron, sitting beside a horse, rubbing the mare hair.

Taking a deep breath, she walk into the stable and stood beside him until he notice her.

“Do you plan to inject me with poison this time?” Aaron asked not looking her way.

“No. I only came to apologise and…”

“Save your apology. Am sick of it” he said as he stood up, leaving the stable with the horse.

“I really didn’t know about the laxative. If I did I wouldn’t have made you eat it, the only thing I kept thinking of was that I make it to your liking since it’s your favourite ” she said as he got on the horse with the help of the stable manager.

“To my liking? You must have really been desperate if you took your time to make a cake for a jerk like me. I remember you calling me that the other day” he said and rode off with his horse.

Being someone who doesn’t give up easily, she went after him, the whip still in hand.

She watch him ride around the big field and when he began riding towards her, she immediately stood in front of his path.

He definitely won’t knock her over…she thought as she stood still while the stable manager yelled at her to move out of the way.

“Then it’s best I get you out of his sight. You might end up getting kicked out before you get a chance to stay” Opal said as they quickly went in through the kitchen.

“That was close” Opal said as they walk into her little room.

“Though Anthony is the gentle one, he hates being thwarted. It’s going to be hell if you see him so make sure you don’t come across him and also the other one” Opal added.

“The other one? ”

“He’s the boss real son, Aaron Winter but he’s more crazier than Anthony. Make a sound and you are fired, we all avoid him like the plaque, make sure you do too” Opal warn.

Opal got a call and left Andrea to continue her work.

Andrea was about taking off her wig when she stop, deciding to explore the house before retiring for the day.

She made sure she wasn’t seen by anyone and her hiding led her into a room.

Thinking it was empty, Andrea walk into the room, lost by the beauty of the deco.

She playfully picked up a sticker which had a pokemon picture on it.

She was still checking it out when she felt someone standing behind her.

“Why the hell are you in my room?” The voice demanded.

She set down the sticker and turn to whoever it is only to be startle when she saw the guy from the restaurant. The one she had called a peeping tom.

Frighten, she bent her head, hoping he won’t recognize her.

“Am sorry. Am new here and I lost my way while looking for the kitchen” she lied, making her voice manly.

“Make sure it doesn’t happen again. I hate people intruding my privacy, get lost” he said and immediately, she made for the door.

“Hang on a sec” he suddenly said which got her standing still by the door.

“W…what sir?”

“Have we met before?” He ask, walking towards her.

“Of course not sir. It’s my first time seeing you” She said as he approach her.

He stood very close, starring at her face.

“Maybe I got it wrong” he said moving away.

Andrea nodded and was about to leave when she felt her wig being pulled, revealing her hair still in a pony tail.

“My, my,my! If it isn’t the nosy pony headed girl” he said.

“Tell me what you are doing at my home disguise as a guy?” He added cornering her against the door.

Her first day of pretence and she has been caught.

“Am definitely dead” Andrea thought as she kept starring at him….
