    A car drove by and stopped then out of it came a man wearing a suit with shades on.

    The stares of the plane rolled down and pair of slim legs putting on sneakers came down the plane. The man rushed to her and bowed.

    “Welcome back home Miss Brauns” He said.

    Arianna scoffed and rolled her eyes ignoring his greetings. She scanned through the environment and smiled with the corner of her lips.

    “Feels good to be back in California” A woman said beside her

    The woman was in her 30s but she looked younger,, really beautiful.

    Arianna rolled her eyes.

    “We were just gone for two months” She said.

    A frown settled on her face when she noticed something on the picture frame. She touched it and looked at her finger.

    Dust.

    “Anita!!!!!!” She shouted angrily.

    Arianna held the picture frame while staring at the door, tapping her foot angrily on the floor. Soon a maid ran in her room.

    The maid immediately looked down while trembling.

    A slap immediately landed on her face. She held here cheek while staring at Arianna in shock. She couldn’t believe a girl old enough to be her little sister just slapped her.

    Anita immediately went down to her knees and clamped her hands together.

    “Get your disgusting face off my sight!! Poor rat!” Arianna said with a disgusted look on her face.

    Anita slowly stood up and left.

    “Incompetent fool” She frowned.

    She looked at the picture in her hand and smiled back then wiped it with her hand before placing a kiss on it.

    The alarm beeped for the fourth time..

    “No.. Not again” A voice groaned.

    The person brought out her face from the covers and pouted her lips. She sat up and rubbed her eyes sleepily.

    “I’m hungry” She mumbled and looked at her alarm.

    Her eyes grew wide and she flew out of her small bed.

    “F*ck it!! I’m late for work!!” She picked her towel and flew out of the room heading to the bathroom.

    She hurriedly picked her toothbrush and pressed out the tooth paste on top of it before she began brushing while showering at the same time.

    Once she was through, she ran out of the bathroom back to her room.

    “I have 5 minutes to arrive on time” She whined while searching for what to wear.

    She decided to wear white shorts and a blue shirt then she tied her hair up.

    She hoped on one feet as she tied her laces.

    “Gianna? Oh you’re awake.. I made breakfast for us” A handsome young man who look like he’s in his early 20s said.

    “F**k you Gray! Why didn’t you wake me up!” She said.

    “Last time I did you broke my arm in your sleep.” Grayson said.

    Gianna looked at him and rolled her eyes..

    Well Grayson and Gianna are siblings. Their parents died in a fire accident, leaving them to fend for themselves. Gianna dropped out of school because of that and Grayson is a college graduate, no serious job yet.

    Dean was the first who came to view. He ran his hands through his hair and waved at his fans. He’s the leader, vocalist and also the lyricist of the group. He’s the friendly kind, sometimes naughty too..

    The next was Lance, the popular playboy of the group. He licked his lips and winked while staring at a girl in particular. Other student held the girls so that she doesn’t faint. He’s the rapper of the group

    Lastly was Cole, more like Cold. As usual he kept a straight face with his gaze focused at the front, no smile, no wink.. He’s the dancer of the group.

    Arianna’s gaze was fixed on Lance as the boys made their way out of the hallways. Lance looked at Arianna and winked at her.

    Luna stood outside the cyber cafe, pacing to and fro as she impatiently waited for Emily to come out. She was dressed in her usual wear; oversized hoodie, big jeans and a pair of worn out shoes with a cross bag around her shoulder.

    Two weeks ago, Luna wrote an entrance exams to Brookcliff University, the most prestigious college in their area. Very few people got to meet the pass mark for the college.

    Luna not being the brainy type, it took her a lot of sleepless nights and dedication for her to read and prepare for the exam.

    The door to the cyber cafe opened and Emily walked out. Luna immediately rushed to her.

    “So tell me, how was it? Did I pass?”

    A black car was parked not far with two people in corporate wears- A male and a female.

    “Welcome back home Young Master.” They greeted politely.

    “I have a name yunno,” His deep voice sounded as he looked around with his hands tucked inside the pocket of his jeans.

    He was wearing black pair of ripped jeans with a blue shirt, his black hair fell on his face complementing his handsome face.

    “Young Mas- sorry Mr. Gavin, your father asked us to pick you up.” The female said while the male opened the door to the back seat, ushering him in.

    “You can go, I want to take a walk around the area.” Gavin said.

    Luna and Emily walked in the club and all eyes turned to them, mostly on Emily. She was wearing a black shiny short gown that ended beneath her round àss, her spotless back was left bare. She looked sizzling hot.

    Luna wore a white crop top with a gown jean skirt that grazed the middle of her thigh, one of Emily’s clothes. She felt so uncomfortable with the cloth she was wearing but she had no choice than to wear it, she didn’t want to look out of place with her baggy clothes.

    Luna decided to find somewhere to sit while waiting for Emily. It wasn’t even long before a guy approached her, taking his seat next to her.

    “I couldn’t help but keep my eyes on you from the very moment you stepped in this club. You don’t look like the party type, are you new around?” The guy asked.

    Luna just kept her gaze front. She knew these type of guys, they’re the type looking for innocent girls to lure into their trap.

    She smiled as she rubbed her thumb on the picture she was staring on her phone. It was a picture of guy who was drinking from a bottle, the picture looked like it was taken unaware.

    Lucia smiled even more, the guy is the captain of the basketball team in her school. Almost every girl in school has a crush on him and she isn’t excluded.

    She brought out a paper and smiled to herself as she began writing down a love letter. Once she was done, she read through the letter and smiled even more.

    It’s the month of December when the spirit of Christmas blooms. The decorated street lights, snowy roads, couples walking down the street with their matching coats, and even the children playing, feeling excited for Christmas could all be visible in the city of New York.

    It was a cool evening, a night before Christmas Eve. A car drove freely on the snowy road into a compound. The moment Daphne turned off her car and took out the keys, the song All I Want For Christmas by Mariah Carey became edible to her ears and it wasn’t just that, her compound was all decorated with Christmas trees and lights, giving her the most irritable feelings ever.

    Daphne angrily stepped down from her car. She matched towards her doorstep.

    “Michelle!!” She called out and a middle-aged woman dressed as a housekeeper rushed towards her.

    “Who is responsible for all these?” Daphne sounded disgusted, obviously referring to the Christmas decorations everyone.

She was dressed in a sparkling purple gown with silver boots, long enough to cover her foot. Her hair was tied in an updo, her lips stick was light pink, and a white scarf wrapped around her neck.

    Her phone beeped.

    Stacy- Where are you? The queue is too much and the bouncers won’t let us in.

    Daphne rolled her eyes- coming. She replied and marveled herself once more before stepping out.

    Daphne got to the club. She didn’t care if there was a row, she just proudly moved to the front with her girls.

    “I heard you wouldn’t let my girls go in, do you want to get sued?” Daphne twitched her lips, looking at the bouncer.

    The bouncer sure did look nervous. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously and gave them a free pass but the moment they went in, the other guests had an annoyed look on their faces- like they would tear the bouncer apart.

    Oh well, his problem for all Daphne could care.

    Inside the club, loud music could be heard. People were dancing crazily, Daphne and her friends weren’t an exception.

    “I think I need more beer!!” Daphne shouted due to the noise.

    “What?” Stacy shouted along as she couldn’t hear a thing.

    “Never mind” Daphne excused herself and moved over to the bartender.

    “Can I get another glass of ruby?” She sounded drunk.

    “Emma, ruby for the pretty lady please,” the bartender told a young-looking girl. She seemed like Daphne’s age mate but looked younger and skinnier.

    Emma was getting too overwhelmed by the work. She poured ruby in glass and brought it over to drunk Daphne who used her hands to push it off. The glass emptied on Daphne.

    It felt like time froze and music froze. No one has ever done that to her. Before Emma could apologize…

    SLAP

    Daphne threw her hands on her face.

    “What is wrong with you? Can’t you do your job well? Do you know this outfit can buy this god-damn bar!?” While shouting, Daphne was still drunk.

    Emma wanted to say Daphne caused it to herself but she only kept quiet. It would be best if she didn’t say a thing.

    “Hey you” Daphne dizzily pointed at the bartender. “I want her gone or this place closes! Gross!” Daphne rubbed her hair, feeling irritated as she stumbled out.

    “You heard her Emma, you should leave” the bartender gave Emma a sorry look. There was nothing he could do, he didn’t want to lose his job.

    Emma nodded in understanding. She just wanted to work and gather enough money so she could spend Christmas with her family but a rich brat had to ruin it from nowhere.

    Emma stepped out of the bar and looked at the sky. “Santa help me” she muttered before looking down and leaving.

    A quick moving shooting star suddenly passed without anyone understanding.

    “Where am I?” She looked around feeling confused.

    Turning around, Daphne was blessed in sight with a strange creature she was just seeing for the first time in her life.
