“Feel sorry for yourself. You ruined my life and my happiness so I’ll ruin yours. Don’t worry, I will make sure her death is quick and less painful” Jade smiled before she began walking away

“No! Jade! Please! Don’t do anything to Lucia! She-”

Jade closed the door behind her. She looked at the man standing beside her, it was the man who is in charge of Noah

“Make sure you keep giving him that dosage, but don’t kill him yet. I need him alive” Jade said.

“Yes Boss”

Jade nodded before she walked away, her heels making sounds as she walked away.

“Maggie…” Avery muttered.

Kingsley raised a brow. “What do you mean?”

“Maggie.” Avery repeated with wide eyes. “I.. I can still remember when we first met, I didn’t like her so she got her hand on that video and threatened to post it. After some while we became friends and I thought she deleted the video” Avery said.

Kingsley frowned. Could it be Maggie that edited the video to make it look like Lucia?

“Please… Don’t post that video, I’ll do whatever you want. Just don’t post it, please” Avery pleaded.

Kingsley stared at her with a poker look on his face. He wanted to pity her but after all what her and her mother did to Lucia, pity was far from his mind.

“I don’t have a choice” Kingsley said and turned to leave.

“Kingsley! Wait, no please!” Avery begged but Kingsley just walked away.

Tears immediately welled up in her eyes. If that video should get leaked then her life is ruined, what will her mother and everyone think of her.

“Maggie..” Avery sneered before she stormed out of the place.

“You were speaking with Avery, is everything okay?” Lucia asked when Kingsley walked up to her. He smiled and nodded then kissed her forehead

Lucia gasped. “Hey! What if someone saw us!” She looked around and Kingsley chuckled before he held her hand, pulling her to a secluded spot.

“What-” Kingsley immediately claimed her lips before she mutter another word.

As if in a charm, her hands snaked around his neck, kissing him back. Kingsley broke the kiss and rubbed her lower lip.

“Let’s go on a date tonight, at 8pm. I’ll come pick you up.” He said and Lucia smiled before nodding.

Avery got down the cab in front of the hospital were Maggie was admitted. Maggie had texted her earlier that she was admitted in this hospital so she immediately lied that she wasn’t feeling well so they let her leave the hospital

Avery immediately entered the hospital and asked her way around to Maggie’s ward. She immediately barged into the ward without knocking

Maggie was looked like she was staring into space jolted at the impromptu barging.

“Avery.”

“You b*tch!” Avery spatted and not even caring whether Maggie was hospitalized she landed a slap on Maggie’s cheek.

Maggie held her cheek in shock.

“How dare you! I thought we were friends!” Avery yelled furiously.

“What are you talking about?” Maggie questioned, looking lost.

“Don’t act like you don’t know. How dare you edit that video to make it look like Lucia! I thought you said you deleted it!”

Maggie still looked lost. “What video?” She questioned.

Avery clicked on the video then showed it to her. Maggie’s eyes widened. “I swear, I deleted it,” Maggie said

“Do you think I’m that stupid! I know it’s-”

Avery turned around to the door where the voice came. Her eyes widened and shivers ran through her body when she saw Jade standing there.

“Mom,” Maggie called.

“I did it, I saw the video in my daughter’s phone then took it. Do you have any problem with it?” Jade raised a brow.

“Bring down the video-”

“Or else what?” Jade cut her off.

Avery stared at her for awhile. “I will say everything I heard when you came to our house, everything.” Avery said and Jade smirked.

“Are you threatening me?”

“Mom, what’s happening?” Maggie asked, cluelessly but no one bothered answering her.

“You can see it in whatever way you want but I want you to delete that video,” Avery said and walked away
