“You’re the only one who loves watermelons will you be able eat it all?”
“That’s why refrigerators exist! Please add more watermelons” She whines.
Jr chortled and said; “Your wish granted” He said and threw two more watermelons inside the cart.
Kitten grins ecstatically.
Jr was still on his shopping when he got a call from Swan.
He smiled before picking up.
“Hello Swan Princess” He said with a thrilling smile.
“Your dad is here” Swan said.
The smile on Jr’s face disappeared and it was replaced with a frightening look, scared of what his heartless dad might do to Swan.
“My dad is my house” He asked just to be sure.

“Where are you?” Rocco bass voice asked.
Jr clenched his fists, and immediately ends the call.
“What’s going on Jr, why do you look tense?” Kitten asked.

“Stay right here. I’m going to come back for you”

“Just do as I have said. I will be back” Jr said and storms out of the grocery store.
He hop in his bike and drove off in speed.

Swan sits in a sofa far from Rocco.
For the first time in history, she became speechless.
She was always outspoken in dealing with people, but right now, the dangerous aura lurking around Rocco’s scares her.
She secretly lock her fingers, nervously, praying Jr will come back quickly.
“Who do you say you’re again?” Rocco said hoarsely.
“I’m Jr’s classmate” She stuttered.
“Classmate? What will a mere classmate be doing in his house, wearing an apron?”
Swan took in her lips.
Just when she opened her mouth to speak, Jr barge in, panting.
All the while he rode on his bike, he was scared of what Rocco would do to Swan.

She took a guess that Rocco might suspect them if she calls him Prince-charming.
“You’re back” Rocco said, with a devilish smile.
Ignoring his words, Jr took Swan’s hand and left the house.
He only let go of her when he was few steps away from his house.
“Go back home, I will come check on you” Jr said.
“Is that your dad? Why is he so scary?”
“Just go home, Swan Princess. I promise to come check on you. Please go home”
Swan nodded when she saw the misty emotions in his eyes.
She stopped a cab and Jr watched her till she was out of sight before going back home.
Rocco was still sitting on the chair.
“What are you doing here?” Jr asked.
“Is it a crime to visit my son?”
“We made a deal! When I’m Jr, you’re not related me!”
“Who is that girl?”
“She is just a classmate from school, don’t meddle in her life”
Rocco smirks.
“I have never seen you bring a classmate home. Are you interested in her? Have you forgotten the rules?”
“I haven’t! Swan is just a classmate, don’t even think about hurting her!”
“If she is just a classmate, why are you so defensive about her?”
“Because I am not a heartless being like you. I don’t want her to get involved in my messed up life, so don’t drag her to it”
Rocco smirked again.
“As long as you have no romantic feelings for her, she won’t have to be in danger. The rule is never fall in love. You better stick to that rule, else you’d want her to die!”
Jr clenched his fist, glaring at Rocco.
“I see you furnished your house, where did you get the money, cuz you don’t accept money from me”
“I won’t answer that question. You have overstayed your welcome, leave” Jr said, pointing at the door.
“Where’s Kitten?”
“Her life isn’t your business. Leave!” Jr yells at him.
“Watch your tongue young man, you know what I am capable of doing”
“Get out!”

He remembered he left Kitten at the grocery store and went back to get her.

Yasmeen has been sleeping for hours and on waking up, she saw Kendrick by her side, caressing her hair.
“You’re finally awake” He smiled at her.
“How long did I sleep?” She asked sitting up on the bed.
“For six hours straight”
“You were watching me sleep the whole time?”
“Yes. You were like a movie I won’t get tired of” He pats her hair with a smile, Yasmeen smiled too.
“Where are my parents?”
“They stepped out and asked me to look after you. So what will my cutie eat. I’d be your chef for today”
Yasmeen chortled.
“I’m hungry, but firstly I’m curious about something”
“Sure go on”
“Did we ever meet each other while growing up?”
“You never asked me such a question, why now?”

“Yes. I was involved in an accident two years ago, I can’t remember what led to the accident, but waking up, I met my parents, they said they were my parents. I couldn’t remember who they were, so they told me about my childhood with them, but somehow, none of it feels real to me”
Kendrick held her hand and Yasmeen looked at him.
“You shouldn’t wander in the past anymore. Although it feels weird that my parents never knew anything about you when they are close to your parents, but you shouldn’t worry about it anymore, even the truth you’re finding so hard to tell me, you can’t keep it hidden if that’s what will ease your mind. I hate it when you’re worried-sick”
“You would’ve known you’d love me this much?” Yasmeen asked, teasing him.
“I know right, I was furious when my parents paired us together, but now I love you more than life itself”
“I love you too, Kendrick. Once I finalize my thoughts, I’d come clean with you”
