Jr wrapped his arms around her slender body, devouring her chocolate lips, hungrily.
The kiss was like a sweet, fragrant flower blooming in the darkness of night, its petals slowly unfolding to reveal its beauty.

He brought out her house key from her bag and opened the door.
It was just a one room apartment with toilet and a small kitchen.

Jr drops her on the bed, and he slowly took off the slip-on she was wearing.
He looked around the small room and felt pitied for her.
Even if he doesn’t accept Rocco’s money, he still lives in three rooms apartment house with wild spaces, thanks to his part-time job at Soft-on gaming company.
He pulled out a chair from the corner, and sat down watching Swan like a movie.
He took her hand and caressed it.

“Don’t ever think you’re not important to me. I can’t push you away, so the best thing is to hide my feelings from you. I’m not an ordinary boy like you think Swan Princess. I might put on a smile everyday, but I am suffocating as the son of Rocco. I don’t want to add you into my messed up life. I won’t be able to forgive myself if something bad happens to you. He watched her for some minutes, before he left.
“Is he Swan’s boyfriend, why does he keep following her” Swan’s neighbor asked rhetorically, cuz she has seen Jr lots of times in Swan’s doorstep.

Jr got home and sees Kitten sitting on the dining table drawing.
“What are you drawing?” He asked, sitting beside her.
“It’s a dinosaur, it’s an assignment in school”
“Can you draw a dinosaur?” He asked with a smile.
“Of course I can. I’m an artist” Kitten said.
“I thought you said you wanted to be a multi-sport athlete, cuz you want to be a hand-baller and a base-baller”
“I can do the three at the same time. It screams more money”
“Crazy girl” He played with her hair.
“That reminds me, when is Swan coming? I miss her”
“You want her to visit again?”
“Yes. I am already fond of her”
“Because she is crazy like you?”
“You’re also crazy Jr, you just decided not to expose it to the world”
Jr smiled.
“Have you eaten?”
“Yes I did. I made garlic butter shrimp and rice”
“You should’ve wait for me to prepare it for you”
“I’m not a baby, Jr”

“Still I don’t consider myself as a baby. You have taken care of me enough, you should take care of yourself too, and you can start by having a girlfriend… for example my crazy Swan Lake”
“Continue with your drawing” Jr stood and went to his room.
He lay on the bed, gazing at the ceiling and his mind drifted back to how he kissed Swan.
His hand went to his lips, he touched it and smiled softly.

Yasmeen came downstairs from Kendrick’s room and sees him talking to his mom.
“Good morning Aunt” She greeted.
“Good morning Yasmeen. Kendrick told me you spent the night here when I came back last night, I didn’t want to disturb you. How are you?”
“I’m fine Aunt”
“Aren’t you going to say something to your girlfriend?” Tessa asked.
“Can you give us a moment to talk?” Kendrick asked, his eyes on Yasmeen.
“Fine, I’ll be off to work. Yasmeen, I asked the maids to prepare your favorite breakfast, make sure you eat before you go to school”
Yasmeen nodded and Tessa leaves the house.
“I will just call my mom and tell her I was here last night”
“I told her that last night” Kendrick said and Yasmeen halted her feet.
She turned to look at him.
“You did?”
Kendrick briskly walked up to her and lifted her jacket.
“Where did you get this scar from? I couldn’t sleep a wink last night cuz I kept thinking how and what led to this deep scar”
Yasmeen took her hand from him.
“The scar is nothing, Kendrick”
“Then let it out of the bag! I’m in so much pain right now seeing such a scar on the girl I love. Tell me who did this to you, I am going to bury him or her under the ground” Kendrick said, not joking.
“Isn’t it so obvious that I don’t want to tell you about the scar? Why are you still determined on knowing?”
“Because I am worried about you, Yasmeen!” He yells at her, but he quickly hug her.
“I’m sorry for raising my voice at you… I’m just worried about the scar”
Yasmeen broke the hug and cupped his face.
“Give me time, Kendrick. There are so many things I want to tell you, but just give me time to be able to gather the courage to tell you. If you love me, then stop asking questions and wait until I open up to you” Yasmeen said.
Her tears didn’t hesitate to fall down from her eyes.
Kendrick wiped her tears with his thumb.
“Don’t cry, cutie. I love you so much and I’m ready to wait until you open up to me”

Yasmeen chuckled.
“Let’s go to school together, I already ordered some clothes for you”

Swan keeps rolling on the bed trying to sleep some more, but the clattering sound from the kitchen kept disturbing her.
She sigh’s frustratingly and opened her eyes.
“You’re finally awake?” Mrs. Lane asked, coming out from the kitchen.
Swan rubs her eyes.
“How did I get home?” She asked, and Mrs. Lane used a spatula to hit her head.
“Ouch! Mrs Lane, you just added to my headache!”
“Should I hit you some more? Why will a high school student waste herself in alcohol?. You reek of alcohol, Swan”
Swan sniffs her clothes and made a disgusting expression.
“What happened that you drank alcohol?” Mrs Lane asked.
“I was having a bad day. What happened to me last night?”
“How should I know? I came here this morning because of what you told me about having an enemy in school”
Swan ruffled her hair, trying to recall what happened last night, but all she could remember was partying with Yasmeen.
“Why did you always have a black lout anytime you drink?” Swan slaps herself.
“So you don’t know who brought you home?”
Swan shook her head.
“Geez! You should be careful Swan! Didn’t you tell me you have an enemy in school. What if the person tried to harm you in your drunk state?” Mrs. Lane asked.
“I’m fine Mrs. Lane. I’m just having a blackout from what happened last night that’s all. I’m sure if I think so hard I will remember what happened last night. Don’t worry, I will fish out the person trying to harm me”
Mrs. Lane heaves.
“Get up from the bed, and have an hangover before going to school. What do you want for breakfast?”
“Oat milk and waffles” Swan smiled.
