We chatted and laughed as Theresa and her daughter re-united. It was a very beautiful sight.
Teo and Priscilla looked equally happy too. I was also happy, but I wanted to see Danny badly.
“Guys, I need to go check up on Danny.” I said standing up from the bed I sat.
“Missing him already?” Teo asked and I laughed.
“Ignore him.” Priscilla said rolling her eyes and I laughed softly.
“I know Teo quite well, ignoring him is in my blood already.” I said and they all laughed as I walked out of the ward.
I headed to Danny’s ward and I stood at the door for some minutes staring at him as he laid on the bed.
I opened the door and walked into the ward with a large grin on my face. I needed to show him I was happy.
Though I was happy, but not totally happy. I endangered the lives of all my friends because of my own interests. My own mistakes.
“Are you going to walk up to me? Or stand at the middle of the ward thinking?” I heard Danny say and I laughed walking up to him.
He looked at me and smiled widely, and all I wanted was to kiss him so bad.
I lowered my head and planted a very deep kiss on his lips, which he opened up to in his own free will.
“How are you feeling?” I asked stopping the kiss.
“I was great few seconds ago. Why did you stop the kiss?” He asked and I smiled with my eyes heating up.
“Even in the hospital bed, you are still making me happy.” I said and he reached for my hand with a smile on his face.
“Nikky making you happy is my priority. I love you Nikky, I love you so much, and when I see you sad, it weighs me down.” He said brushing the side of my face.
“I love you Danny.” I said and he smiled.
“I know Nikky. What about the others?” He asked looking outside the door.
“They are with Delilah, needed to see you badly, so I excused myself.” I said and he nodded playing with my hand.
“Kaleb?” He asked.
“He went out already. He said it’s time to take down Martin’s wife, and he also mentioned of keeping a low profile till we have Martin to ourselves.” I said and he sighed.
“We will get him Nikky. He will suffer for all these he has done to you.” He said and I nodded.
“What are we going to do about him? I don’t want us killing anyone.” I said and he shook his head.
“I don’t know Nikky. It’s in your court. You decide his faith now.” He said and I sighed bowing my head.
“I will think about that later, but now, I can’t wait to leave this place with you, to a very far place where we can have time to ourselves.” I said and he smiled.
“It’s in your court too. Where do you wanna go?” He asked grinning.
“I don’t know. Far from here, where Martin won’t be on our mind.” I said and he laughed.
“Consider it done baby.” He said and I laughed holding his hand.
“Thank you Danny.” I said and he furrowed his brows.
“For what?” He asked.
“For everything. You came to my help and you almost got killed. I don’t know how to thank you enough Danny.” I said as my eyes began to heat again.
“You know the only way you can thank me?” He asked and I shook my head narrowing my eyes.
“You never stop loving me. That’s fair enough.” He said and I laughed.
“I love you Danny, right from the very beginning. Before you knew me at all, I have always loved you, and I never stopped. Even though I made out with Peter, you were always in my heart.” I said and he smiled.
“Come here.” He said giving me a head nod and I smiled moving my head to him.
I planted a kiss on his lips again kissing him deeper than before. He ran his hands down my back kissing me with so much passion.
“I wasn’t expecting you would make out on the hospital bed. I guess we need to get you somewhere you can be alone.” We heard Teo say and we smiled.
“Well you should help me with that.” He said holding my hand.
“I am so happy to see you Teo.” He added and Teo smiled opening the door to the rest of the people.
“And we are happy to see you making out with Nikky on the hospital bed.” He replied.
“Teo.” I called laughing and they all approached us.
“So to what or whom do I owe this visit.” Danny said smiling.
“To friendship and to our hero friend.” Priscilla said and he looked at her.
“Kaleb?” He asked narrowing his gaze.
“We are cool. Though your brother was being a d**k before. But now, he seems pretty responsible.” Priscilla said and we laughed.
“I am happy no one is having issues here.” He said and I sighed.
“The only issue all of us have is Martin, and when he is down, then we are issues free.” I said and Teo stood in front of me.
“I guess I heard him saying the ball is in your court. So what do you do about him? If not him, then his wife?” He asked.
“I don’t want to hurt his wife. She is a lady like me. It’s quite simple, we get her and the children so as to get Martin’s attention, after that, we left them go far away. Then I decide what to do with Martin.” I said.
“I don’t think I will let the wife go easily, she needs to take some few slaps, that will teach her that next time she doesn’t support evil.” Priscilla said and I sighed nodding.
“I just don’t want to kill anyone. Not Martin, not his wife.” I said and they furrowed their brows looking at me.
“Okay fine. Maybe Martin.” I said and they all smiled.
“We should go on our honeymoon now. I know of a perfect place.” Danny said and we all smiled.
“Sounds like fun.” I replied.
He picked up his phone and called only God knows while I looked at baby Theresa who was with Priscilla.
“Come baby.” I called and she ran to me smiling widely.
“I guess she likes me already.” I thought carrying her in my arms.
“Mama is happy. She said you are all good people.” She said and I smiled kissing her forehead.
“And your mama is the best mama in the world. She wouldn’t do anything to keep you safe, never forget that.” I said and she nodded.
“Is he your boyfriend?” She asked looking at Danny.
“Theresa.” I called in surprise.
“I just asked. I have heard it before, somewhere. I want to know Mom’s boyfriend too.” She said and I looked at Teo.
“Your mom’s boyfriend? You know, you are still very little. Your mom will tell you at the right time.” I said and she laughed.
“Okay.” She replied and I sighed.
