I kept shivering as I sat on the chair I was tied to. It was like I was going to peep on myself.

“Who the f**k are these?” They asked bending down went the light in front went off.

“We don’t know.” They replied themselves.

“Can you at least let me go? You can’t afford a bullet hitting your newbie right?” I asked loudly.

“Shut the f**k up.” One said in anger and then I heard a gunshot again and one man from inside the house.

“We can’t just stay here and let them kill us. We need to call for help, almost all our men are down.” I heard one whisper and I didn’t feel good about the idea at all.

Delilah was quiet all through behind me, and I new she is the only one that can help now. They can’t call for help.

“Delilah.” I whispered and I felt her hair on my shoulders.

“Stay put. You will be fine.” She said and wanted to raise her head but I stopped here.

“Delilah wait. You need to help us. This is our only chance of escaping here.” I said.

I couldn’t see the expression on her face because there were no lights.

“What do you mean?” She whispered into my ears.

“They are here to get me. And trust me, we are leaving here together if you help us get the hell out of here.” I said.

“Nikky are you insane? This is a death sentence.” She whispered while the men kept murmuring.

“Maybe not. Delilah almost all the men are down. If you take care of these ones, we will be out of here before the help arrives.” I whispered and she went silent.

After some minutes I began to hear one man speaking. I guessed he was on the phone.

“Delilah if not for you, for your daughter.” I said out loud and I heard the gun cork.

I swallowed hard knowing they pointed the gun at me because I spoke out loud.

But to my surprise, I began to hear groans around me.

“Delilah.” I called fearfully.

“I’m fine.” She said and I felt someone release my hand. After few seconds, my hands were off the chair and I stood up.

I looked around and after a while Delilah switched on the lights. She pointed it all around the living room and I saw all the men were down.

“Leave now.” She said and Danny entered.

“Nikky.” He called running to me and hugging me tightly.

“Are you okay?” I asked and he nodded.

“Teo and Priscilla are out there. We need to move.” He says before looking up to see Delilah.

“Hi.” She said in a hurry and he nodded.

“Thank you for this.” He said and I held her hand.

“She is going with us.” I said and she shook her head. I looked at her wondering why she refused.

“Nikky I can’t leave. Where do I go? My daughter is at home. I won’t survive it.” She said and I shook my head.

“Don’t talk like this Delilah. Enough of Martin using you. Your daughter needs you now. We are going to pick her up at your house and we are leaving this place. I know Danny will help out.” I said hopefully looking at him and he nodded.

She sighed and she nodded.

“We need to move now. We will be surrounded very soon.” Danny said holding my hand and pulling me out of the house.
I got out of the house and I saw Priscilla and Teo outside facing the other side with guns.

“Hey Nikky. How are you?” Teo asked looking back.

“Good. Just in a rush. We need to get to Delilah’s house so as to take her daughter with us.” I said and Teo looked at Danny.

“She is part of us now.” He said and they nodded.

“Delilah please lead the way.” I said and she walked to the front as she began to lead us to get house, under the moonlight.

Danny held my hand tight, and Teo and Priscilla looked very at alert.

“If the help gets here and doesn’t see me dead. They will trace me home.” She said and began to run. We took to our heels to following her.

“We should be done before they get to us.” I said and she looked at me.

“We can’t be so sure.” She said making a turning and then heading to the house at our left.

“My house is here.” She said jumping into the house and before we could enter we heard gunshots.

“Everyone down.” Danny said but Priscilla stormed in holding up her gun. She fired pretty fast and after that the noise died down.

“Come in.” She said in an haste running inside. We got up and entered the house to see Delilah has been hit on her left arm with a bullet.

She was on the floor holding her hand and panting very hard.
“They are here. My daughter is in the room.” She tried to say pointing at a door.

“I will get her.” I said and Danny shook his head.

“Not alone. They could be in there.” He said and I nodded sighing.

He walked to the front and I followed behind. Priscilla and Teo were behind watching our backs. I wasn’t that scared.

Since Danny was with me, I knew he won’t let anything happen to me.
