She actually said “NO” yea, she said “NO” I felt a kind of sharp pain that went through my heart. We were both kneeling down before my mother when suddenly I felt her hand holding my hand. Wait! What is happening? Inside me I felt a kind of cold blood running through my veins. I began to think “why is she holding my hand? Why is it different this time?” But all the same I kept my cool.
She asked me to escort her to her house that night. I agreed and we went out of my house. Her friends went their separate ways while we both head towards her house. While we were walking she said “Concerning that your proposal…” I was like “what proposal?” She smiled and maybe she knew I was pulling her legs, then she said “I am saying YES to it” ghen! ghen!! My heart sank, I was surprised and shocked.
“What the hell is she talking about?” I actually said that inside my heart. I pretended as if I didn’t understand what she was talking about. I looked at her and she was just smiling, I kept pretending while we got closer to her house.
We got to the gate of her house and we stood outside and she was waiting for a reply from me but I was still quiet. I was trying to sum up my the whole matter within me. “I hope she is not trying to play me?” I said to myself then I told her I will get back to her.

We said good bye to each other. While I was on my way home a thought struck me “that day made it exactly ten days since I asked her out” I thought she has forgotten the whole matter. I was confused as to what to feel. It was indeed a mixed feeling maybe because I felt she might be playing me at that time.
We never met again for about two days, largely due to the fact that she doesn’t have a cell phone and she had a kind of over protective senior ones at home. I was sitting at the front of my house when I saw Bella and her friend, they went in and greeted my parent then I followed them while they were going back home and I gave her a letter which I wrote to her myself and then it was that same day I accepted the fact that we are now in a relationship.
So it was; we officially started dating on the 12th of January, 2018.
What a feeling it was
So, we do celebrate our anniversary every 8th and 12th of January of every year since 2018 till date.
