The door slamming drew people’s attention towards Erica but she didn’t mind, she moved towards to Naomi who was standing alone, thinking about what happened earlier.
“How do you feel now?” She asked and Naomi only shut her eyes.
“I hope you feel great, you really went too far to drag your own best friend in public just because she kissed a guy you were not even in a relationship with! Didn’t you feel ashamed when you reminisce about the history of your friendship with her then tore it away all for a guy that will never care about you? Huh!?” Erica said hardly.
Tears came out of Naomi’s eyes and she wiped it off immediately.
“Gwen has been making a lot of effort to make up for what she has done, she’s apologized to you more than thrice but you never cared” Lucky added.
“And yes Chase or Dominic was into Gwen but before he made that move to use you don’t forget that you were the one throwing yourself at him so what did you expect? I noticed Gwen was into him starting from Xavier’s pool party. I know how she avoided him for your sake and did you remember the art project? I also know she exchanged your partners so you could be with Chase and she had to fail her own project for your sake Naomi!” Erica said again.
“And how did you repay her? All for a simple mistake, you pulled her down in public even thou the school thinks it’s an act, we know Naomi, we know what you did and we’re really disappointed” Lucky shook her head.
Erica gave Naomi a look before walking away then Lucky followed behind.
Naomi stood alone for a while thinking about everything they said and it’s now she’s realizing how stùpid and childish she has been acting.
She went outside and squatted on the floor before starting to cry her eyes out.

Gwen was sitting alone on a stone outside with tears on her face as she looked up at the sky.
“Are you okay?” Some footsteps was heard approaching her and she looked front to see Dominic.
She didn’t say anything as she watched him took the next space beside her.
“You know I don’t know whatelse to do to save our friendship, I’ve sacrificed so much and yet it feels like I’m not doing anything” she muttered with a blank face.
“Do you blame me?” He asked in a low tone and she looked at him.
He chuckled to himself before facing front.
“I blame myself too, I didn’t know how much damage I’ve caused to your friendship with Naomi until today” he muttered then turned to face her.
“I grew up alone without friends, I wasn’t allowed to go to school and mingle with my mates so I don’t really know how to do anything, I don’t even know how it feels when I hurt people because no one actually cared about me as a kid. My dad only cares about being president, him and my mom has this relationship issue and each time we go out, it’s always for a meeting and he locks me up in his car”
“I envied everyone I see on the road, smiling looking so happy, playing with their parents and friends but I have nothing, each time I cry to my dad about things like that he scolds me that I got used to it. Me acting as Chase Lockwood wasn’t to fool everyone it was just to set myself a bit free from being solitary which affects my mental health”
“And no it wasn’t fun lying to everyone because deep down I know he was not going to last and I’ll loose everyone between the blink of an eye, my friends and also roommate, you..” he pressed his lips together and sighed.
“Even up till now it still feels like I haven’t given everyone a proper apology, I really didn’t mean to use your friend and the truth is that I really see her as a friend and I only kissed her at the party once because I feel like you don’t care about me the way I did and it was so frustrating, I didn’t know I was putting you in such a hard spot and I didn’t know Naomi was into me either still I saw you as proud and bore a tiny grudge against you” he licked his lips and shook his head.
“I’m really sorry Gwen, I’m sorry for everything, I really mean it” he said seriously.
Gwen looked into his eyes, she could see the amount of sincerety there.
“I’m sorry too, you don’t deserve the type of treatment you’ve been getting from me too” she said with a sigh and he smiled.
“It’s fine, here” he brought out the painting of her and placed it on her hands.
“No more pressure, whenever you’re ready you can hit me up, I promise to talk to Naomi and clear things up” he said with a small smile.
Gwen collected the painting and nodded, she watched as he stood up and began leaving before she opened the painting and looked at it then smiled.

The sound of a girl crying kept echoing around the compound. Dante sighed as he came out from a corner with his hands dipped inside his pocket.
“Why did you hurt your friend when you know that you’ll get hurt” he asked, looking at Naomi who was sitting on a bench.
“You’ll never understand” she muttered without looking and he passed a tissue to her.
She looked at him before slowly collecting it from him.
“Can’t believe I spend most of my time in being so stùpid” she said.
Dante only stared before moving towards her and raising her up.
“What the hell is your problem, let me go!” She yanked her hands away from him and almost immediately her phone began ringing.
She took it from her pocket, it was an unknown number.
“Unknown numbers never calls me”she muttered and picked then slowly placed it on her ears.
“Are you Naomi Moore?” The unfamiliar voice asked.
She stared at Dante before nodding and the next thing she heard made her phone dropped from her hands.
“What’s wrong?” Dante asked, seeing the look of shock in her face.
She staggered backwards before turning around and running off.
“Hey! Naomi wait!!” Dante shouted and chased after her.
