Mrs. Lane was holding on to Kitten when Twinkle and Owen entered the house.

“I have no idea. I think my dad had them hostage and they ran away. He came to our house looking for my brother” Kitten said.

“Who is your dad exactly? Swan once mentioned him” Twinkle said.

He went to her and squatted to her level.

“Don’t worry, we will find your brother, okay?”

“Will he be okay, Dr.?” Swan asked.

“I must say he is a very strong being, if he was weak, he’d have die. Don’t worry he will wake up after having enough rest”

“Thank you so much, Mrs. Oh”

“You came home after so many years just to bring an unconscious person with you? If not for the closeness I have with your family, I won’t have come out by this time of the night”

“Thanks Mrs. Oh” Dre elated.

“Make sure he eats a lot when he wakes up so he can wash out the drugs inserted inside his body”

“You should get some sleep, Swan. Shane is out of danger”

“He did that to Shane?” Swan asked, tears falling down from her eyes.

“Yes. I met Shane when he was eleven years old, I was kept in the clan because I was good with bombs, cuz my late dad used to be a soldier. I witnessed the torture he went through. If I went through all the pains he encountered as a young boy, I’d have turned into a monster and become heartless, but Shane despite the torture and pains he went through, he still grew up to be a boy with a good heart”

Swan caressed Jr’s head, feeling sorry for him.

“Rocco won’t stop until he finds you two. Though he won’t know your whereabouts. Jr needs to be physically fit before he faces his father. This used to be my family’s house, you both can stay here”

“What about you?”

“Going back to the clan means I am calling for death. I plan on residing in a new city. When all of this is over, invite me to your wedding” Dre smiled looking at the infinity ring in Swan’s neck.

Swan touch the infinity ring.

“He gave that to you, right?”

Swan nodded cleaning her tears.

“It means his love for you is eternal”

“I will be happy if he could express how he feels for me” Swan said.

“He is just afraid that he might lose you, even if he doesn’t say it, Shane loves you a lot”

Swan smiled, staring at Jr who was sleeping soundly.

Owen rushed inside the ward and sees his mother sitting on the bed.

“Mom!” He rushed to hug him.

Betty, which happens to be her name, hugged him tightly.

“I’m so happy to see you again, my son”

Owen broke the hug with a smiling face.

“Me too”

“My son grew up to be so handsome. I wish I nurtured you when you were a baby”

“What are you saying mom? You took care of me and showered me with all the love you could give, that’s why I waited patiently for you to wake up”

“I wasn’t the one who raised you”

“What are you trying to say, mom?”

Oscar entered.

“She isn’t your mom but your aunt. Her identical twin sister was your mom, but she passed away in the accident scene” Oscar said.

“You both are getting me confused. What do you mean by mom’s identical twin sister. Was mom twins?”

“Yes son. I and my sister look alike a lot. Because of my unrequited love, I lived with a dangerous man. He killed my first son just because he was a sickle cell who always got sick. When I got pregnant again, I was scared of what he might do you, so I swipe you with my sister’s baby. You’re not Oscar’s son”

Tears falls down from Owen’s eyes as he slowly looked at Oscar who was shock too.

It was obvious that Oscar didn’t know Owen wasn’t his son.

Jr opened his eyes and sees Swan sleeping beside him, her fragile hand on his chest.

He smiled and caressed her lips.

“Swan Princess” He calls her name softly.

Swan opened her eyes a little, but she opened it completely and got up from the bed when she saw Jr was already awake.

“Shane” She hugs him tightly.

“I’m sorry” He apologized.

Swan broke the hug.

“I should be the one apologizing to you. If I had listened to you, you won’t have….”

Jr place his finger on her lip.

“It was bound to happen anyways. What matters is that you’re here with me”

“Do you feel pains?”

“You’re are pain killer, I don’t feel pain when I am with you”

“How can you still say this when I’m nothing but a stubborn girlfriend”

Jr smiled and cupped her face.

“When I was being beaten up, I was ready to die for your sake, but I didn’t want to die because I haven’t told you how I feel about you” Jr caressed her face while Swan looked deep into his blue eyes.

“I was scared that I’d bring you lots of danger if I told you my feelings… Swan Lake” He calls her name in full.

“Mmm”

“I LOVE YOU, SWAN PRINCESS” He breathed out

“NO…. I’M MADLY IN LOVE, SMITTEN AND OBSESSED WITH YOU” Jr said.

Swan started crying.
