Jr took her fragile hand and inserted an infinity ring in her finger.
“Let’s get married…. Swan Princess”
Swan chortled.
“You want us to get married?”
Jr’s eyes blazed as he stared at her with emotion, he caressed the infinity ring in her finger, graciously.
“When all of this is over, I want to grow old with you by my side” Jr said.
He meant every word he just said.
“What’s going to be over? Are you in danger?” She asked, worriedly.
Jr smiled and placed his palm on her small face.
“My life isn’t in danger”
“Then what do you mean by when all of this is over? Let’s just get married, Prince-charming” Swan said.
Jr chuckled.
“We will at the right time” He smiled and took off the ring from her finger.
“Why are you taking it off? You just engaged me and you’re disengaging me after a minute? Why do you love taking your words back?” Swan complained.
“Stop overreacting Swan Princess”
“Then why did you take it off?!” She questioned.

He brought a jewel box and in the jewelry box lies a necklace.
Jr took the necklace out of the box and inserted the ring in it.
After that, he wore it on Swan’s neck.
The infinity ring dangles on Swan’s chest like a pendant.
“You are going to wear it in your finger when I’m finally free”
“Free from what? Why are you beating around the bush? Tell me everything, Prince-charming”
Jr pulled her closer and collided their bodies in a soft hug.
“You will get hurt if I tell you everything. It’s better to stay in the dark and be free from the danger that lurks around me. But one thing it’s for sure, you’re important to me” Jr said.
Swan smiled feeling the warmth of his biceps, even though she doesn’t know a thing about him, she believes he’d open up to her someday.
They stayed in each other’s arms, sending comfort to one another, the birds chirping in the air.

Annie walked inside a store with the hope of getting a job.
Even if she has nowhere to go, she doesn’t regret leaving Linda’s house.

Jr and Swan’s hands were interlocking together as they walked under the dark clouds of the sky.
They spend lots of time at the beach to the extent that they forgot they needed to go home.
They kept grinning at each other as they walked on the street, but Swan stopped smiling and she gasped.
“What’s wrong?”
“I just remember Mrs. Lane”
“Who is Mrs. Lane?” Jr asked.
“My godmother. She will be so worried about me, since she can’t reach me”
Swan quickly types Mrs. Lane’s number on the new phone Jr got for her.
It rang for a while, before she answered.
“Who is this?”
“Mrs. Lane, is me Swan”
“Swan! What happened to your phone? I couldn’t reach you!”
“I’m sorry Mrs. Lane. My old phone got damaged, so I had to get a new one” Swan said.
“You’re fine, right?”
“Yes I am Mrs. Lane” Swan answered,
“I am relieved after hearing your voice. I’m going to call you back, I’m pretty busy”
“Okay, Mrs. Lane” She ended the call.
“Is she a relative?” Jr asked.
“No. She is a friend to my mom. Marriage wasn’t for her, so she quit. She sees me as her daughter and that’s why she always worry about me”
“Can I meet her?”
“Why?”
“I’d like to see the godmother of the girl I intend on marrying”

•BERNARDO’S MANSION, NIGHT•
Beads of sweets filled Yasmeen’s face as she had a a terrible dream.
She was sleeping, but her head was turning left and right, slightly, sweating dreadfully.
“You’re a stripper here, you should open your legs for me” The hoarse voice of the man from three years ago said to her, trying to tear her clothes.
Yasmeen cries.
She tried running, but the man in the dark room grabbed her hair.
She screams!
Even in the dark, his eyes were like that of a bat.
He takes a table knife from the table.
“I’m going to make you submissive! I paid for you already!” He vented.
He tried stabbing Yasmeen’s stomach, but he got her forearm instead.
He sliced her forearm like fruit.
The cut was deep, and Yasmeen could feel her blood dropping on the floor like a tap.
She was getting weak, but the man in the dark wasn’t ready to let go of her.
He was still aiming to go under her pants.
Yasmeen, in the quest to be free from him, gave him a massive push.
The man fell to the ground, landing his head forcefully on the tile floor.
He stopped breathing.
When Yasmeen didn’t hear his voice anymore, she looked for him in the dark, and discovered he was dead.
She killed someone.
Her scream from that night woke her up.
Yasmeen screamed loudly, fidgeting in fear.
Her scream was loud to the hearings of her parents.
They rush in, and see Yasmeen shaking her head , crying and at the same, folding herself.
“Yasmeen” Her mom and dad rushed to her.
“I didn’t kill him! I didn’t mean to! I’m not a murderer! It wasn’t my intention” Yasmeen cries.
“We know that, Yasmeen. It’s not your fault, stop blaming yourself” Her parents tried to console her, but she kept crying and shaking in fear.

Jane and her husband, Carlos watch as the doctor puts Yasmeen to sleep.
“Why is she having those dreams again?” Jane asked.
“It’s something that triggers her, you don’t expect her to forget it so easily”
“But you said she won’t have those dreams if she continues taking her medicines” Carlos said.
“She stopped taking those medicines”
Jane and Carlos sigh.
“Always make sure she takes her medicines, that’s the only way she can sleep without remembering the incident that happened in the past. But may I ask, what happened in her past?” The doctor asked.
“That’s not what you should know. We’d make sure she takes her medication, leave” Carlos ordered.
The doctor leaves.
Jane sat beside Yasmeen who was sleeping, she caressed her face crying.
“It’s all my fault why she is suffering like this…. My poor Diva” Jane cried.
Her real name is Diva, but her name was changed to Yasmeen after she was found by her parents.
“It’s not your fault, Jane. If we didn’t lost her at the amusement park, she won’t have grown up in the hands of people who trained her to become a stripper”
“Still my carelessness caused my poor baby to live a hard life. She was just six when I lost her, and for good ten years she was trained to be a stripper. She is living with her parents now, but the past is still haunting her” Jane cried.
“It’s not Diva’s fault. We name her Yasmeen, so she can forget everything that happened. We just have to pressure her to continue taking her medicines”
