RACHEL’S pov.
Outside The Westin Bonaventure Hotel And Suites<<
Fatima glanced my way to check my expression as I continued glaring at Tasha, until she was out of sight. I clinged tightly to my purse, and clenched my jaw as I felt an undescribable anger erupting from the deepest part of my stomach.
“Are you ok, Rachel?” she asked but I ignored her. “Do you wanna go inside and check out what’s going on? Or…” she asked further, but trailed off to hear my opinion.
There was a very strong urge pushing and trying to convince me to barge in, because I really wanna confirm if my husband is actually meeting up with that public toilet.
Lord have mercy, I feel like stabbing the bรฎtch to death right now.
But barging doesn’t seem like the greatest idea at the moment, I don’t think I’ll be able to control and stop myself from becoming a murderer.
My glaring eyes continued throwing daggers towards the hotel gates, as though the gates has committed an unforgivable crime.
Fatima cleared her throat.
“Uh… Rachel, you need to take a deep breath and calm down” she said.
She paused and briefly glanced at the hotel, before turning back to me.
“I know what you saw and it’s very upsetting, but trust me on this, you’re overthinking and it’s not what it seem like”
It’s not what it seem like, that’s so cliche to say.
“I’m not thinking” I said,and forced a smile.
“Huh?”
Her eyebrows raised in surprised, I know she’s expecting I’d jump out of the car and confront Tasha, but I did the opposite.
“I thought you wanna barge in and create a scene” she said.
I shook my head.
Although, anger is boiling inside me, but I’m trying my best to suppress it.
I leaned back on my seat, closed my eyes and yawned softly as I rubbed my eyes.
“I’m feeling tired, let’s go home” I told Fatima.
“You wanna go back just like that?” she asked me, as if to be sure if her ears are still working fine.
“Yes”
There was a very brief silence, before she broke it.
“You’re going home? Not hospital?” she asked, I guess she just recollected what I said.
“You should know that’s what I meant!” I said through gritted teeth, trying my possible best not to transfer my aggression to her.
I heard her sigh.
“Sir, please take us back to the hospital” she told the cab driver.
“Alright” the driver agreed.
Few seconds later I heard revving sound, and soon felt the car moving.
My eyes remained closed as different scenarios ran through my mind, like; Why are they meeting at a hotel? Is it gonna be just the two of them? And will he even tell me the truth later if I ask?

THIRD PERSON’S pov.
Inside The Westin Bonaventure Hotel And Suites<<
Every lady turned to ogle over Mr Baldwin as he stepped inside the hotel, he wasn’t oblivious to their fawning admiration, but he ignored them.
He quickly wore his base cap and walked straight to the receptionist’s desk, some ladies were busy snapping pictures of him which he also ignored, since he doesn’t mind it.
“Good evening, Miss…” he trailed off as he stared at the receptionist’s name tag. “… Amelia”
The receptionist couldn’t respond, she seemed to be awestruck and couldn’t take her eyes off him, with her mouth hanging open in surprise like she wasn’t expecting to see him.
“Excuse, me, Miss Amelia?” he snapped his fingers across her eyes, which snapped her back to life.
Her cheeks flamed up in embarrassment, she grinned and quickly comported herself.
“Welcome to westin bonaventure, Mr Baldwin”
She reached out her hand for a handshake and that wasn’t necessary at all, Mr Baldwin stared at her hand for a few seconds, but shook it anyway.
“Reservation under Mr Baldwin, please” he said.
“Hm” she giggled.
Mr Baldwin looked down at their hands that were still tightly clasped together, he raised his brows at her and signaled their hands.
“Oh” she quickly withdrew her hand.
“My reservation?” he asked.
“Yeah, about that, Miss Tasha Wood called and booked a room under your name”
Mr Baldwin frowned slightly.
“Under my name?”
“Yes, sir, we didn’t know which reservation to cancel, so we kept both” she said.
He thought about it for a moment, then smirked and nodded.
“Cancel my reservation, we’ll go by Miss Tasha’s choice” he told her.
“But we’ve already…” she trailed off.
“Don’t worry about it, just let it be”
“Alright” she said and started typing something on her computer.
“Take me to the room Miss Tasha booked”
“Here’s the room card” she handed Mr Baldwin a card.
“Thanks” he said, he shoved the card in his pocket and headed towards the elevator.

“Wow, presidential suite!” Mr Baldwin exclaimed as he pushed the door open and entered the room.
He smirked while looking around, he walked straight towards the mini bar, and began checking out the kind of drinks available.
“Let’s go with something light” he reached for a bottle and looked at the label. “Royal circle would do” he said to himself and nodded in agreement.
He reached for a glass and walked back to the living room, he popped the cover open and poured some drink in the glass.
He leaned back on the sofa, held the drink up and slowly shook it for a moment, then took a sip.
“It’s nice”
He finished the whole drink in one gulp, then he poured himself another glass and continued drinking.

Few Minutes Later<<
Mr Baldwin’s ears pricked up when he heard the door creak open, he turned around, and saw a lady who wore a scarf and sunglasses walked in.
His brows knitted together in a tight frown, as he couldn’t recognize her.
“Who are you?” He asked her.
He tilted his head and frown deepened more, trying to identify her but still couldn’t recognize her.
She found his question quite silly and scoffed unbelievably.
“What now? You don’t recognize me after your wife has disfigured my face?” she asked him back.
Realization dawned on him instantly and he knew who she is, but he didn’t show it and continued acting oblivious just to fool her.
“My wife?” he asked, pretending to be clueless.
His brows furrowed even more.
The lady dropped her bag on the table, then took off her sunglasses and scarf.
“It’s me” she said.
“It’s you?” he raised his brows questioningly.
“Yes” she let down her hair. “Tasha Wood”
“Wow!”
He dropped the glass of wine he was holding, and looked closely at her as he tried to find some resemblance between the Tasha Wood showing on magazines and this Tasha Wood standing in front of him.
He couldn’t control himself and burst into an uncontrollable laughter, which made Tasha glared at him but didn’t say anything though.
She grumpily slumped on the sofa next to his, strike an imposing pose and held her head up to hide her shame.
“Why are you laughing?!” she snapped at him when he wouldn’t stop laughing.
