“Let me go! ” Marie kept yelling but Willow was hell bent on laying his claim and wasn’t listening.

Suddenly she thought of an idea which she knew was risky but decided to do it anyway.

“Am pregnant!” She yelled at him and immediately he let her go.

“Your what?” He asked staring at her.

“I said I am pregnant” she said again only to recieve a slap from him.

“How can you hurt me this way? How can you be expecting his child?” Willow demanded.

“Am expecting his child because I love him, I don’t love you Willow. So stop all this and let me go” she said crying now.

“I won’t. You are mine and your having a child won’t keep us apart. There is a thing called abortion you know” he said as Marie widened her eyes to his statement.

“You are ¢razy if you think I will let you touch my child” she said fiercely.

“You have no choice Marie. It’s either that or I kill Romeo” he threatened.

“How can you say that easily? Romeo have been a friend to you apart from him being a boss” she said starring at him aghast.

“I did in the past but he stole you from me and that is something I can never forgive. I love you Marie and you are going to have an abortion or risk having Romeo die. It’s your call the doctor will be here tomorrow” he said as he walk out of the room leaving the crying Marie alone.

She had no idea how long she kept crying or when she slept off but a siren blaring outside woke her up and quickly she got out of bed to see the police car parked in front of the house.

Is Romeo here? Did he come for her? She thought as the door burst open and Romeo appeared.

Immediately she saw him, she ran into his arms and he hugged her tight.

“Am sorry that it took me a longtime my love” he muttered.

“That doesn’t matter. Am glad you are here” she replied and immediately he carried her in his arms and walked her out of the house.

She saw the police men arresting the people who worked in the house and also she noticed Charles who waved at Romeo.

She wanted to ask him why Charles was there when she sleep claim her again. It was evening time that she woke up.

She was on a bed, a bed which belonged to Romeo. Knowing she was back home comforted her but the voices she heard from outside got her getting out of the room.

“You can’t do this to me! Am the one you married and I should be with you” Develene yelled at Romeo who was having a hard time getting her to leave.

“The reason I let you stay here was because of the threat over Marie but now that Marie is in my care. You can leave” he said motioning his guards to take her away.

“I hate this! I hate you and I hate Marie for taking you from me. Do you know that if it weren’t for me you never would have met her?” Develene asked.

“I know and am glad that you sent her to me. Thanks to you I have the woman I love in my life and that’s the only reason why am not pressing charges against you. So you better leave while am still being considerate” he said.

“Don’t be considerate Romeo” Marie said from the door way and they both turned to stare at her.

“Don’t be considerate and let her pay for her crimes too” Marie told him as she took hold of his hand.

“Well if it isn’t the imposter herself. Have been hoping to talk to you” Develene said.

“Can you leave me to talk to her alone?” She asked Romeo.

“But Marie you…..”

“Don’t worry. The guards are here and I can certainly protect myself from her ” She said and Romeo nodded heading to his study room to give them some privacy.

“Enjoying the good life right?” Develene asked and instead of answering Marie move towards her and slap her hard on the face.

“This is for running off without sticking to the end of your promise” Marie said as she sI.apped her on the other cheek.

“And this is for pretending to be me” Marie added.

“Are you ¢razy!” Develene asked as she made to hit her back but Marie caught hold of her hand easily and pushed her back.
