After I left my boss and his crãzy girlfriend in the boardroom, I was shocked to notice that after so long, he didn’t return to his office.

For some days now, it had become her routine to send me cryptically threatĂŞning messages, probably aimed at getting me off Toshteck Limited, to enable her achieve her goal.
Ordinarily, it isn’t in my place to fïght to keep the CEO still retaining his position as the CEO, but it concerned me a great deal that she was trying to outplace a man I called boss, something that will ultimately affect my curriculum vitae.

I walked into my office and began to dig deeper into her activities, to know what she was up to.
She was indeed a great player, working assiduously to ensure that she left no traces in the fields she had trampled on, but with diligent and meticulous searches, I was able to uncover her moves because I have known her long enough, to know her moves, when I see one.
From the distribution of shĂ res in the company, she was ranking the 7th in the hierarchy of shareholders, but I could tell, that she was the greatest challenge my boss has.
I was still analyzeing the data collected, when I noticed my boss’s phone buzzing endlessly on my table.
His girlfriend had made sure I noticed them as they walked out of the boardroom, so I reckoned they’d still need more time to joke around, and decided to stall Mr Anderson’s calls as much as I could.
I eventually had to send his phone to him as he stood with her outside the office building, and without a warning, the CEO of a company facing a force like Aunt Julia, ran off with his girlfriend.
I would have let him go on with his nonchĂ lance, but his failure would bring a dent to my name, and that was the last thing I wanted.
So I kept forcing him, kept pushing him, until I ran into him, shĂ melessly standing in front of me with a wrong size of boxers, that made his propagator seem to be suffocating in there.
Any other time, and I’d be completely mà d at a person who didn’t find the need of covering up decently when around a person of the opposite sëx, but, I had to keep chiding myself, to keep forcing my mind to forget the picture of his appearance that stayed glued to my mind’s eyes, even after I looked away.
The first night I encountered him, I had gotten a glimpse of the broad and extremely powerful looking chest, but as I stood that night, taking a complete look at him, I found the true difference between sedûction and attraction.
The way the clean white towel on his neck hung so casually, like one who had just come out of a swimming pool, made me want to jump into the pool of sedûction he had so effortlessly created.
I found my way out of his room, trying to remain as unmoved as I could, but he chose to call me, just when I had heaved a sigh of relief and thanked my stars for helping me overcome the temptation.
There was no way like hĂŞll I was going back to that house, not knowing what I could meet, so I made an excuse, only for him to turn it around, and invited me out.
I got one of my faded jeans, and a simple plain polo to go with it, and hoped he’d ask me to forget about the plan to eat while we talked, but he made a silly joke out of it, and drove us to a fancy restaurant.
He didn’t say a word to me after our order had been taken, but when the meals were served, he asked me to eat up, because we could be having a long night.
I smiled awkwardly, not knowing for sure, what he meant and began to eat.
“You eat this little, and still manage to work so hard? You should eat more Miss Sasha” he told me, looking at how tired I was already with the food.
He must have assumed that I do not have a large appetite for food, because I couldn’t eat my food.
I mean, how am I supposed to tell him that I had just had dinner before I visited his apartment, and the only reason I had to say I was hungry, was to avoid going back to his apartment?
“I’m good Sir, really, I’m okay” I told him, but the silly man felt I as being shy to eat in his presence.
“Awww, isn’t it amazing that the ever talking and confident Miss Sasha is so shy in my presence, she can’t eat! And I thought they said girls only feel so this shy in the presence of the guys they crush on?
“If she’s this shy, what happens when I choose to spoon feed her now, and ensure that I get her to eat quickly enough to enable us talk about what brought us here?” he asked me, making me nearly choke on the food in my mouth.
I began to scoop the food quickly into my mouth, ignoring the fact that I could feel his gaze on me, with each spoon I lifted to my mouth.
With my food completely eaten, and my luck so good that I was served a really small portion of food, we made our way out of the restaurant and walked to the parking lot.
“Aren’t we meant to look at those documents I sent you earlier?” I asked him as we approached his car.
“Yeah, but I do not intend to look at something so serious, while people’s spoons and knives clattered on their plates.
“We’ll need to sit in a more serene place to talk about it, so I’m driving us to an appropriate place” he said and got behind the wheel.
He pulled up in one of the coziest hotels I’ve ever seen, and I nearly cried as he practically pulled me with him, walking in as though we were a couple.
I noticed the girls winking at him, and the others smiling enchantingly at him as we walked past, and felt like throwing up.
“Upset?” he asked me, smiling dévilishly.
“Of course. They’ll make you feel so good, you’ll be distracted from the very things you should pay attention to” I complained, sounding too offended, for a secretary who noticed girls flĂrting with a boss that seemed to enjoy every bit of it.
“Oh please Sasha, you do not have to worry, I’m not kissing any of them tonight.
“I’m here to see how we can somehow overcome a tornado that is building up, and if I find you as resourceful as ever, I may reward you with a kiss.
“So you see, you have no reason to worry about them, they can only watch from a distance, while I hold you this close” he said, pulling me to his sides as if I were his girlfriend suddenly.
I made to complain, but then, I saw that he wasn’t looking at me. I followed his line of sight, and this boss of mine was scowling at a dude that was drooling over me, almost making me laugh.
We eventually made our way to a table in the far corner of the hall, and began to talk about the things that truly needed urgent attention.
It always amazed me how he was able to switch from his playful self to the serious and diligent CEO whenever he needed to, but that night, after having him play so much, that I was finding it hard to believe he was just taunting me, he sat down and activated the work mode instantly, getting analytical and tactical at once, making me completely fascinated.
We talked about the fact that aunt Julia had been to able to make three major companies submerge totally into Namenda Holdings again, and how she was working so hard to keep annexing other players into the company, that would be as good as hers in a very short while.
“Now, she has been able to ensure that our shareholders have access to all the news as they unfold, and is so far, building feà r in their hearts.
“What should be the next step? What can Toshteck Limited now do to ensure that this woman doesn’t also annex it to Namenda holding?
“What can we do to ensure that she is unable to penetrate Toshteck Limited? ” Allen asked me.
“We take the bà ttle to her. We make her fight to keep her grip on Namenda Holdings so hard that she has limited time to conceive and hatch more plans to tròuble Toshteck Limited.
“Yes boss, if she has more issues to confront in her home front, she’ll barely have enough time to attà ck.
“Taking the wà r to her doorstep will make her spend more time in defense, and while she’s trying to dust off every dãmn mîssile that lands close to her feet, we’ll make a formidable fence around Toshteck Limited.
“And sir, like I said in the mail I sent earlier, those shareholders she is targeting will contact you tomorrow, because she must be planning to make them offers.
“They’ll want to know how much Toshteck Limited still worth, you must let them know that we are at the brink of failure, and that our shà res have actually plummeted to a terrible state” I told him.
“Miss Sasha, and why would I do that? Why would I want to make them believe that the company is now usëless? Wouldn’t that make them wish to sell off their shares?” he asked me.
“Yes Sir, they’ll be willing to throw away their shares so quickly and this will enable us wrestle the shares out of their hands, before your contender does.
“From what I know, she has been feeding them with all the information she has been giving them so far, only to prepare the ground for her next move.
“She is manipulative, calculative and very critical. And now that she has set out to acquire these people’s shares, she’d stop at nothing.
“I had to approach those shareholders promptly, to ensure that things don’t fall apart before you return from your pleasure journey.
“And because it’d make absolutely no sense that you’d be the one who gives them the reason to sell their shares, and you appear again, to ask them to sell to you, I have made the plans to buy off those shà res, before your nightmare lays hands on them” I told him.
“Hmmm, and with the shà res in your hands, where does that place me?” he asked me.
“It leaves you the chance to keep your position and place in the company, while you find a way to make your rival have a taste of her own medicine, until she decided to relinquish the shares she has so craftily acquired and wish you let her keep Namenda Holdings
“And if you’re asking to know, I have neither the interest nor the ability of toppling a business owner, because not only do I know how that feels first-hand, I do not have what it takes to do it, with the amount of shares I’ll have when I buy these shà res.
”I’ll only be able to get the shares out of her reach, and ensure that the one I’m serving under doesn’t fail, with my name still attached to him” I told him.
“I do not have much of choices right now, given the time left and how the move must be made now, so I guess I have to choose to work with a lesser êvïl” he told me, annoying me.
“Oh, you’re welcome. Since watching over your à ss, while you kissed your Barbie makes me one of the êvïls, I’m glad my work is done here tonight.
“Goodbye sir, I’ll catch a ride” I told him, and walked out of the hotel in ãnger.
I heard his footsteps running after me, and just before I walked past his car, he caught up with me, and pulled me to a stop.
“Oh come on Sasha, you don’t have to be so mà d. I can’t believe you didn’t really get what I meant back there.
“And about kissing the Barbie, I thought I already promised to give you a fair share tonight, why are you still so upset that I kissed Mirabel?” he asked me, approaching me menacingly, while I pulled back, until I was trapped between him and his car.
His head began to get closer and my heart began to beat faster.
“Please stop this at once Mr Allen” I told him, my lips quavering.
“It’s Engr Allen-Tosh Miss Sasha, and I can’t let you go on tormènting me this way” I heard him say, his voice so husky, I couldn’t hear him.
I should have pushed him off, I ought to have fought him off, but while the neural network sent impulses to the nerves and organs that should execute the order, my body was already malfunctioning.
Yes, the brain was screaming “Abort! Abort!!” But my hands were already moving to hold his neck as his lips touched mine.
