She stood in the middle of the living room not even knowing where to turn to.

She’s gonna look for Bradley but first she needs water. She asked the maids for directions to the kitchen and they pointed it to her.

She entered the kitchen and walked straight to the dispenser pouring herself a glass of water to wet her patched throat.

When she looked up Bradley was smiling at her, shirtless.

“What are you doing here?” she asked lowering the glass trying to concentrate on his face instead of his abs that was standing out, looking sêxy.

“Cooking..” he said lightly, turning to the pot steaming on the cooker.

Iris flushed.. She remembered that night in the hospital when he asked her if she could cook.. Oh God

“So.. It was supposed to be breakfast in bed, but you spoilt it by being so fast” he said facing Iris, taking a step closer.

“Well.. I had to go look for Anna so I’d prepare her for school and besides I have to go to work” she shrugged, Bradley raised a brow.

“Work?” he asked

He put his hands around her waist lifting her to the counter, so he stood between her legs.

“There’s no work anywhere, we’re stuck together today” he smiled, Iris blinked.

“You look cuter in that T-shirt than I do” he whispered kissing her earlobe.

She grabbed his shoulders, her fingers almost digging into his skin.

“You don’t want to get this house burnt right?” she asked and he smiled pulling away reaching for the pot while she just watched.

“What are you cooking?” she asked.

“Macaroni ” he said turning to stare at her.

She looked down fiddling with her nails..

“Would you teach me… how to cook?” she asked, her face was red.

There was no greater embarrassment than asking a guy to teach you how to cook.. Like what the f**k?

Bradley covered the pot with a smile plastered on his face..

He knew she’d still remembered that night.. Oh well, he did too..

“No” he muttered walking back to her.. Her face fell but she just nodded.

He grabbed her hands, tilting her chin up so she could look into his eyes..
