    It’s currently late at night, but the bright lights and lamps surrounding the estate shared their illumination everywhere.

    The moonlight poured it’s light in through the tree leaves, showcasing the beauty of the greenery.

    A sweet aroma is currently swirling around the estate, and it’s coming from the main mansion kitchen.

    The main mansion is the biggest, and it’s where the Torrance family stay.

    Inside the kitchen, Hazel could be seen slicing onions professionally on the cutting board, smiling as she did.

    Hazel threw a raw onion into her mouth and bit her full lip as she chewed with joy.

    Hazel left for the cooker with a silly pout and opened the pot to taste the sauce, but she spit it away immediately.

    “Mum what the hell! Did you pour a gallon of salt? We can’t get in trouble with Madam Anna!” She whisper -talked.

    “She instructed me to put excess salt by herself. It’s for Master Kenzie’s homecoming yunno? He likes salt” Maria replied without looking up.

    “But this is too much! No normal human would take this much salt” Hazel argued, and Maria finally turned.

    “Baby can you just go cover your hair instead?” She sighed softly, her lips pursing.

    “Fine” Hazel groaned, walking out of the kitchen.

    She walked past the paradisiacal living room where Lee is sitting in front of the TV, and he waved at her.

    “You should be in bed by now” Hazel replied.

    “No….it can’t be real…not Erika” she shook her head as her armpits and palms became wet with unplanned sweat.

    “Damn! She was my crush of all the band members!” Lee made pity faces, and Hazel rushed out of the house.

    She ran all the way to the servants annex where she stays with her mother.

    There are two rooms in the annex, one for her and one for Maria.

    She entered her room and grabbed her STUPID phone from where she abandoned it on the bed.

    The screen looks like spiderman made a home on it or something.

    She turned it on and clicked google, but WhatsApp opened instead.

    “Gawd damnit! I know you’re stupid but not tonight please!!” She bit her nails nervously, shaking as she tried again

    Google clicked, and she searched for Erika…the first news to come up was her death news.

    “It’s … It’s true … It’s true” tears came out of her eyes.

    “Erika is dead I can’t believe it .. Erika” she sat on the bed and continued her tears, rubbing her exposed laps with her fingertips as the tears fell freely.

    Her phone rang, and she turned slowly to peek at it.

    It’s Penny calling, her friend.

    She had to swipe green up to ten times before she could pick

    “Hey Penny” she sniffled, tugging nervously at her skirt hem.

    “I’m at the estate gate!” Penny replied and hung up.

    Hazel rushed out of the room and ran down the estate.

    From the main mansion to the big gate takes up to five minutes by walking, but running made it three minutes.

    She met Penny waiting.

    They share the same dream of becoming idols, and they both love CADENCE too.

    “I still can’t believe it….how could Erika die” Hazel started crying again

    “Hey!” Penny broke the hug to hold Hazel’s round cheeky face.

    Their moment was interrupted when a limousine drove in their direction.

    The headlights shone brightly on their faces, and Penny had to cover Hazel’s eyes… Hazel has sensitive eyes actually.

    Two jeeps are following the limousine at the back, but all the cars stopped right beside the two girls.

    Hazel gently took Penny’s hand away from her eyes, knowing who it is already.

    The limousine window went down, revealing a middle-aged handsome man whose hair is sprayed grey dye completely, and his face is straight.

    Hugo Torrance,… Kenzie’s father.

    He’s neither smiling nor frowning as he took a look at the girls.

    “Welcome home, sir” Hazel bowed respectfully.

    Penny did the same, but he just winded up his window without replying.

    The limousine drove in, and the two other cars containing his guards went in after him.

    “Need to go now!” Hazel urgently said.

    AN HOUR LATER, SERVANTS ANNEX*

    Hazel sat on her small bed with her phone in hand, scrolling through Erika’s IG…. she’s staring at her pictures, and she almost started crying again.

    Maria stopped talking when she saw Hazel from the door.

    The lunch break was over and the students returned to their various sit including Betty and Vivian. The English teacher came in and gave them some exercise to work on. After some hour the closing bell was rang and the students packed their stuffs and left the class.
    When it was Abt 8:pm, Betty and Vivian began dressing up for the party while Lucia was reading a novel. They finished preparing and were about to leave. “Lucy are you sure you don’t wanna come with us?” Betty asked.

    The teacher said. He walked over to the front and took the marker from the teacher then he went over to the board and started solving. He solved the first, second and then the third one. He walked back to his desk and was still smiling and looking at Lucia, she noticed but she ignored him.

    It had been hard being away from home. I had been away at college on the other side of the state for 4½ months and had not been able to get home that entire time.     In many ways the semester seemed to last forever, but I concentrated a lot on my studies and that helped pass the time. I really wanted to do well since my grandfather was giving me a full ride. There were plenty of distractions and many times it was hard not to cave in to some of the wild events going on around me.

    I didn’t live in a dorm. I lived in an apartment just off of campus. That helped a lot when it came to having peace and quiet. I was able study and get the rest that I needed to be successful. My roommate was pretty cool and never got too wild. I was able to make 4.0 that first semester and everything academically ran smooth.

    There were really good-looking women everywhere at college, but none of
    them compared to Vivian. The way she had developed was amazing. She has
    all the curves in all the right places. The girl truly could be a Playboy Playmate.

    The day was December 23 and final exams were over, so I packed the car
    and got ready for the 300-mile trip across the state. I was on the road at noon and took my time getting home. It would be a 5 to 6 hour trip any way you cut it.

    The entire trip my mind thought back to the past year and the closeness I had with Vivian. She was a part of my life that I truly needed. I had spoken with her several times over the fall.     After my birthday weekend, I had discovered that the feelings sex gave us should be something special. The anticipation seemed, at the time, to be as important as the actual event. I really did not know if this was true, but I did
    know that when we were together that we created fireworks and I didn’t
    want to spoil that.

    I made no inappropriate advances towards her. I wanted her to want me as much as I wanted her. So we were tight, but not intimately close, until the time when I left town. I pretty much always wanted her since our first time together: but even the lonely, insatiable, lustful feelings I have for her could not cause me to overstep the inherent boundaries in our relationship.

    As I drove further and further west, the sun descended slowly upon the
    horizon. I enjoyed the trip. The long shadows increased as the beautiful crisp winter sky released its amber hue. There is no feeling in the world like that of going home after you have been away for so long.

    Taking my time, I stopped at a few stores in towns along the way to buy
    some Christmas gifts I even stopped at a lingerie store and bought some lingerie for Viv. It is so much easier buying intimate apparel outside of one’s hometown. You aren’t going to meet anyone you know and you don’t have to feel weird or inhibited about it.

    These were really presents for me. My imagination roamed as I imagined her in the silky baby blue doll and matching g-string. Then I couldn’t pass on the sheer black panty and bra set.
