“I am not getting mad at you. Don’t you understand. i love you. I love you Remita” Red confessed.
Remita became dumbfounded.
“What??……..

“What??” Remita asked.
“Yes, i have tried not to tell you but I love you. I love you Remita” Red confessed again.
Remita couldn’t believe her ears at all.

She couldn’t believe the almighty Alfred Melody loves her.
Red moved closer to Remita and touched her shoulders.
” I love you Red”
Remita imagined herself saying that.
“Please answer me Remita, I love you” Red repeated. Remita was confused. She didn’t know what to say or do.

Remita wanted to reply but Leonie’s voice interrupted them.

“Brother, i am back ” Leonie’s voice stopped Remita. Red left Remita and wiped his eyes.

Leonie jumped on Alfred happily.

“Cool, Go and change your clothes and come and have your lunch” Red said.

Alfred put her down .
Leonie pulled Remita away and dragged her to her room.

Then Red received a call from jude, his personal manager.

Then jude knew immediately that something iz wrong with Red.

📱Okay, You are having a commercial shoot today at the william’s studio. They already pay a huge amount of money into your account. $90million.
📲They want me to promote their products. Fine! I will be there in 30minminutes.

Red hang up.
He went to Leonie’s room to tell him he would be back soon but what he saw almost blinded him.He saw Remita in a swimsuit.

“But i am scared of swimming leonie. I have fear for water” Remita said.

Red stared at Remita from her head to her toes.

 "What is she doing to me?" Red thought.

He doesn’t want any further temptation so he left the house for the photoshoot.

Leonie took Remita to the pool.

Remita’s fear for water increased. It was like she was about to drown.
“no, this is not good” Remita said in fear. She only agreed to swim with her because she doesn’t want to hurt her feelings.

Leonie jumped into the pool and she began swimming while Remita just watched.

Remita moved back a little.
She wondered how an 8 years old girl could act so mature.
After swimming, Leonie beckoned to Remita to jump into the pool.

” You won’t drown, It is not deep” Leonie said.

“Pretty please, please Remita” Leonie said and made a cute, baby face again.
“Aghh! Fine!” Remita said.

      Remita moved a little closer to the pool. She sat down and put her two legs in the pool.

It was so cold.

ThenLeonie swam to her side and pulled her hand. She fell inside the pool.

 "No oo oo" Remita screamed.

Remita held her breath for like 2 seconds. Then she imagined herself in a river.
She screamed again and she went out of the pool.

” are you that scared of water” Leonie asked immediately she got out of the pool.

  " yes" Remita said in frustration.

“I am sorry, let’s go in” Leonie said with tears.
“Hey! why are you crying? we can play better games than swimming. uhh. don’t cry” Remita said and hugged leonie.

 "Yes! Let's play  game or better still dance for me. I wanna watch you dance." Leonie said.
    " That's not a problem, just don't cry" Remita said.

Leonie was really happy Remita could talk.

"First, let's change into something better " Remita said.

” Yeah!” Leonie said and chuckled.
Remita took her by her hand and they both went to Leonie’s room.

After changing, Leonie took Remita to the studio.

Leonie played music and Remita began to dance.

Leonie recorded everything and she recorded it with Remita’s phone too.

Red got to the William’s studio for the photoshoot. The place was already clouded with huge fans of Red. They were screaming his name. He almost became deaf.

 "You are welcome Alfred " Mr William said.

Red did not answer him all he did was just to pull his nosemask up to his nose.
His fans wouldn’t let him rest.
Red’s security guards were behind him. A crazy female fan wanted to pull Red’s shirt but the security guard shrugged her off.

Red quickly entered the studio then his security guards blocked the door. Jude, his personal manager was already waiting for him.

Red stared at the newspaper in awe. “Have you forgotten you are a celebrity boss?” Jewel said.

“fine, whatever. Is my makeup artist here yet?” Red asked.
“Yes, boss. She is waiting in the dressing room” Jude said.
Red frowned. “She?” Red asked.

“Yes, she is a lady. ” Jude said.
“How many times do I have to tell you never to get me a female make up artist? ” Red beamed with a frown on his face.
” sorry boss! But i have tried calling your personal make up artist but his phone is not going through so i decided to get you a lady” Jude said.

Red breathe heavily.

“I hope she won’t make a slight mistake of trying anything with me ” Red said.

"I trust her boss, She is my good friend. She is very perfect" Jude said.
   "fine" Red said.

The makeup artist beamed with smile immediately Red entered the dressing room.

” Good afternoon sir Red, I am Rose. your makeup artist. i hope you will enjoy my service” Rose said.

 Red stared at rose. She doesn't look like someone who will try anything funny with him.

Rose started doing the make up.

After 1 hour, The makeup was done.
Red looked like a demi god. Rose was perfect in doing the makeup.

Red liked it.  " Do you like the makeup sir?" Rose asked. 

Red nodded.
“it’s perfect” Red said and glared at the ring on her finger.
“So you are married?” Red asked.
” yes sir. ” Rose said with respect.

“You are hired as my new professional makeup artist” Red said.

Rose jumped up happily.

“So how much is the makeup? I will have it transferred” Red asked and he brought out his phone.
“Any amount will do sir” Rose said.

Red smiled. Red Transferred $10million to Rose.

Her phone beeped. she checked it.
“$10m? ” Rose said and she widened her eyes in shock.
Tears formed in rose’s eyes.
Red saw it and felt pity for her. ” Hey! Are you okay? Is the money not enough?” Red asked.
“Oh am sorry. i am just too happy. Because this is my first time of having that amount of money in my account. I needed money to take care of my unborn child because my husband just died. Thank you so much Sir Red. you have put a smile on my lips today. Thank you sir” Rose said.

"You dont have to thank me, rose. Thank jude for bringing you here. You are a woman right? " Red said.   " Yes, it I pretty obvious right." Rose said.

“How can you win a girl’s heart? Like how can you get a girl to love you?” Red asks.

  "Well, In my perspectives. Love has to come from the both of you. One sided love will never work at all. you both have to love each other. Get to know what she likes most and what she dislikes. Never ever hurt her. Try to stay away from ladies but not too much.Be there when she needs you.Give her all your affection,care and love. Confess to her when you to, don't wait till other boys do that for you. Give her flowers, I mean pretty flowers. Don't become too jealous.always call her but not too much. Never ever cheat on her. Buy things for her if she is a type who loves expensive things. Give her space to breath, don't over protect her. well i think all that's all" Rose explained.

Red nodded his head agreeing with Rose. He noted every single thing.
“Whoa, thank you Rose. How old are you ? because you seems to be talking from experience” Red asks.
“I am 27″ Rose replied feeling shy.
” oh OK” Red replied.
Then jewel came in. ” Everything is ready boss” Jewel said. Red stood up immediately.

"Try to get some new  clothes. " Red said and left.
      " yes sir" Rose said and jump happily.

Red got to the main studio. Mr William was already there.

He looked so handsome. Even without makeup, the guy is the most handsome.

After 2 hours,Everything was over. Red changed his outfit.
It was already 8:00 Pm in the night. Red went home hurriedly to take Remita home.
His security guards followed him home. Like 5 cars followed him. 2 black car at the front, 2 black cars at the back. The car he was staying was at the middle.

Red couldn’t wait to get home and see Remita.
Finally,After 30 mins riding, He got home. The gate opened automatically and they entered.

The guards got down and opened the car for Red. He got down.

They bowed for him.
He entered the main building.Another set of guards bowed to him.
“Good evening boss” 5 guards chorused.
Red passed by them.

He opened the door and met both Leonie and Remita sleeping.
Leonie woke up as soon as Red moved close to her.
“You are back ” Leonie Said with a sleepy voice.
“Goodnight,I wanna sleep in my room.

"Wait! Wait! Wait! won't you eat dinner?" Red said.
 "I don't want to, I wanna sleep. I am tired.

Red carried her to the dining table. “I won’t allow you to sleep until you eat your dinner” Red said.Then leonie opened her eyes fully when she perceived the aroma of her favorite meal.

 Leonie looked around for Remita.

“Has she gone Home? ” Leonie asked.
“No, she is still asleep” red muttered.
Leonie jumped down from the chair and she went to remita.

She sat on Remita and tickled her on her nose. Remita opened her eyes.
. “Come and eat dinner” Leone said.
“Dinner? ” Remita said and she stood up and put Leonie down.
“I am so exhausted from dancing.i need to go home”Remita said.
.Leonie knew it was her fault. She shouldn’t have forced her to dance.

“Did you force her to dance for you, Leonie?” Red ‘s voice could be heard.
. “Oh! n0! He is gonna scold me again ” Leonie said silently.
“What? what do you mean he is gonna scold you?” Remita asked.
“Because i forced you to dance. i am sorry Remita” Leonie apologized.

“She did not force me, I willingly danced for her. You can scold me instead and not her” Remita said.

Red kept quiet.
“Go and eat now, i have to go home. Grandma would be waiting for me” Remita.
Red hurriedly left.the dinning table.
“Goodnight” Leonie said and hugged Remita.

Leonie disengaged from the hug.
“Bye, good night.” Remita said.

Leonie went back to the dinning table.

 "I will take you home" Red said.

“No, I can go home myself” Remita said.
“When will you stop saying no to me. When exactly will you say yes to me” red said.

 Remita looked into Red's blue eyes. Her heart started beating fast. They both stared at each other for a while.

   Remita moved her eyes away.

..”I can go home myself.”Remita said with stubbornness.
“you are being stubborn again. what if something bad happens to you” Red said.
“Nothing bad will happen to me. i can take care of myself” Remita said again.
Remita attempted to leave but red carried her.
“Put me down. please’ Remita said on top of her voice.
” I insist on taking you home, whether you like it or not” Red said and signalled to one of the guards to open the door.
He opened it. He put her inside and closed the door.

“Don’t let her out” Red said.
Red entered the car and drove out of the house.

They were both quiet in the car.

It was awkward for Remita.

💜 DARREN’S POV 💜

Remita looks really beautiful while singing. I like her just as a friend. I don’t mean any harm to her or try to flirt with her. I never knew she was really a twins.

Well I got to find out that her twin sister is Naomi.
They are both beautiful but Remita is more beautiful.
I just want to be friends with her. She is cute though and very attractive but i like her just as a friend but i don’t know if the mere like will turn to love. But i like her just as a friend.
The electric bell was on.
I guess it is Lunch break.

Darren walked up to Remita. “Hey! Do you wanna eat?” Darren asks. “Yes, At the cafeteria. Do you even know the way to the cafeteria?” Remita asks darren.

“No, I was just transferred today.” Darren said.

“Whoa, A transfer student” Remita said and smiled.

Red brought his head up just to see Remita smiling with a guy. He frowned and got jealous.

“Let’s go to the cafeteria, i am starving” Darren said. They both went to the cafeteria together.

Remita ordered a French fries and chicken with a fruit juice which cost $30 dollars.
Darren ordered a rice balls with kimchi with a watermelon juice. That has been his favorite.

“You like kimchi?” Remita asked.
“Yeah! you? ” Darren asks.
” I like anything” Remita replied. ” do you have any allergies?” asked Darren.

“Yeah! I am allergic to Coffee and ketchup ” Remita said.
“whoa, you are weird. Well I don’t know anyone who is allergic to ketchup apart from you” Darren said and mocked Remita playfully.

 Remita felt mocked at. Then she took her spoon and hit Darren's head with it.
  Red watched the both of them from his table. 
" Why are we eating here? we don't eat here you know? we have our own private restaurant" Daniel complained.

"Isn't it obvious, Red is stalking remita. We are eating here because of her " Jeremy said.
   "Since when did she start talking to a guy ?" Red asked no one in particular. 

Then Daniel and Jeremy turned to where Red was looking at. They both saw Remita smiling and talking.

Red was jealous. He didn’t like the way Remita was talking and smiling with darren.
“Tell me Jeremy, Who is that guy she is talking and laughing to” Red asked jeremy.
” He is a transfer student” Jeremy replied.
“Oh, i see. He just got transferred today and he is already playing with her already” Red said.
He couldn’t take it anymore.
“Don’t tell me you are jealous bro” Daniel said.
” Isn’t it obvious?” Red replied.
Vincent smiled wickedly at Red. He loved the jealous look on Red’s face. He hates seeing Red happy after all he has done to him in the past.

“Ouch, that hurts” Darren said.
” You mocked me weirdo.” Remita said.
She seemed happy with darren. They both got along. Just then Tasha and Genesis joined them.

” Hi” Tasha said.
“Hello Remita” Genesis said.

“Hey guys! Meet darren. He is my friend” Remita introduced Darren to Tasha and Genesis.

“Hello” Genesis waved her hands.
“I am genesis” Genesis said.
” Oh yeah! I know you. The owner of Beauty Scent Perfumes. you are a perfumer everyone knows you” Darren said to Genesis.
She smiled.

“Hi, Natasha.” Tasha introduced. “hello” Darren said.

They began eating. “You know we should hang out sometimes what do you think?” Darren said.

“Yes, I think that’s a good idea.” Genesis said.
” To get to know ourselves better” Tasha said.
Remita nodded.

         "Oh bro! i think they are all friends" Jeremy said when he saw genesis with them.

” yeah! i think so” Daniel agreed.
“I don’t care at all, Trying to touch her is out of line. See how she is smiling seductively as if they are both dating” Red said.

Sophie was looking at Red since admiring him.

Red couldn’t take it anymore. He left the cafeteria and went to his locker room.
Darren, Remita, Tasha and Genesis were talking, getting to know themselves better.

  Red felt really bad. He wished Remita could be his girlfriend immediately. He almost cried.

Just then Sophie entered his locker room and locked the door.

 Red saw her and stood up. "What are you doing here sophie?" " Red questioned.

 "I am here for you," Sophie said in a low, seductive tone.   "What?" Red frowned but he still looks crazily handsome.

Then Sophie removed her shirt.
She was trying to seduce Red to sleep with her.
“What are you doing you cheap slut” Red said.

They both went to Vincent’s locker room..

” Who do you think you are ? You can’t touch me like that. No way” Remita said and left.
“You are nothing but a loser” Remita said and she left.

Vincent was shocked. He was very angry. No one has ever slapped him like that. Not even Naomi.
He was so angry but he kept his cool.
No girl have tried slapping him. The fact that She called him a loser made it worse.

Nana alighted from her car and she walked straight to the Goldsmith’s shop.

“Good evening ma’am” A young guy with a messy hair said.
“Good evening” Nana muttered.
Nana looks older than the young guy.

Nana brought out the Necklace and gave it to the guy.
” you want me to sell it?” asked the young guy.
” Can you adjust it for me. it’s kinda damaged” Nana said.
“wow, this is raw gold” The young guy said.
“So can you do it or not?” Nana asked .
“I can do it. But if I were you ma’am. i will sell it. This is pure, raw gold” the young guy said.
“Good, How much would you sell it if you wanted to sell it?” Nana asks.
The young guy looked at it carefully.
“It costs $70million dollars” The young guy said.
“Cool, That will be the exact amount your familes will use to bail you out of the prison if you dare sell it” Nana said.

The young guy became scared of Nana.
“I will come back in the next 7 days to retrieve it. it should be ready by then” Nana said and left.

After closing hours, The students went home leaving Darren and Remita in school.
Red was watching them closely.

” will you go home yourself? i can take you home if you want ” Darren offered to help Remita showing her the key to his car.
“Oh never mind Darren. i can go home myself” Remita said.
” okay if you say so. i am just trying to help” Darren said.
” Thank you” Remita said.

Darren bade Remita goodbye and he left.

Remita walked alone.Red drove behind her without her knowing.

Red stopped the car and he signals to Remita to enter the car. But she refused.

“Aren’t you going?” Red asks.
“I don’t want to, i can walk myself” Remita said.
” After talking and laughing with that guy. You suddenly don’t want to go with me” Red said.
” What? which guy? oh is it darren?” Remita said.
” You are even friends with him to extent you can remember his name just today” Red said.

” But…is it bad to be friends with him? ” Remita said in a low tone.
” Just get in the car ” said Red.
. ” no” Remita refused again and started walking away. Red followed her with his car.

Then she tripped on a stone and she fell.

Red stopped the car and get out quickly.
” See where your stubbornness led you.” Red said and carried her up and took her to the car.

Red entered the car too.

 He tried touching her. She moved away.

Red breathe heavily. He knew Remita was not aware that he is madly in love with her.

Red packed at his car garage. Remita alighted from the car.

They both entered into the mansion. it was obvious Leonie was not around.

  Remita's phone rang. it turned out to be Darren.

Red stopped walking as soon as he heard Remita talking.

“They even Exchanged numbers?” Red muttered.

“Hi, i am at work. bye i will talk to you later” Remita said.
Remita smiled. Red saw her.
She looks really pretty to Red.

Remita removed her jacket leaving her white shirt.
She sat down waiting for leonie.

Red peeped.

“I wish you know how much i love you Remita” Red muttered in a low tone.

Sophie and Regina alighted from the Red Porsche car. It worth $35m. Sophie likes bragging with it. But that is the most expensive car she had.
Regina adjusted her bag on her hand. She smiled at sophie.
“Why are you smiling? Is there anything funny on my face?” Sophie asked. “No, I feel good today but seeing that Remita makes me mad. We should teach her some lessons one day” Regina blurted.
Sophie grinned wickedly.
“And that day is today” Sophie said and smirked.
“Whoa, so you have a plan?” Regina chuckled.
” I am still Queen Sophie. The only sophie here in Melody High School” Sophie bragged.
” No one messes with me either” Regina added.
“So, what is the plan?” Sophie asked.

Sophie smirked again. She smiled wickedly.

“Hi, I am Darren. I just got transferred today. I think you are cool so I felt like we should be friends” Darren said.

Remita raised her head and saw Darren.

Darren offered Remita an handshake. But Remita refused to collect it.

Remita stared at darren and she didn’t see anything wrong with him. So she decided to be friends with him.

“I am Darren Esperanza, you are?” Darren asked.
” Remita Johnson” Remita replied.

“Let’s talk later during lunch” Darren said and looked at Remita for a while. ” okay,” Remita muttered. Darren went back to his seat.
Remita became happy she has found a male bestfriend.

Soon, Red, jeremy and Daniel entered including Sophie and Regina.
They all sat down. Sophie shot Remita a deadly glare. Red saw Remita sitting talking with Tasha and Genesis.

Then the music teacher entered.

“Good morning Mr Luis” The students chorused.
All students loved Mr luis’s class. It was always lively, fun and interesting . So no one will want to sleep in class.

 Mr Luis is one of the most respected teachers in Melody High School.

“So y’all know that today, Some group of students will Perform here in front of the class without being distracted. ” Mr Luis said.
“Yeahhhhhh! We are ready Mr Luis.We are so ready” Some students chorused.
“So we have four groups. I will group you with the aid of this magic box of mine. Two groups full of 8 girls. 4 in each group. Another two group full of 8 boys. 4 in each group. So we have Group A, Group B, Group C, Group D. What you need to do is to open the box and pick a paper. Whatever you find in there will be your group and mind you Group O is there also. If you pick and you find yourself in group O. It means you will be a spectator. You aill sit and watch.” Mr Luis explained.

The students picked one by one.

Red slammed the door to his locker room and it closed automatically. He ran after Remita but met naomi on his way. He sighed heavily.

“Hi, Red” Naomi said and tried to touch red’s shirt. Red held her hand. “You don’t touch me like that naomi? This shirt worth $17million dollars” Red shrugged.

“But..I am Remita” Naomi said in a low tone. “Just how stupid you are naomi. have you forgotten Remita can’t talk? Trying hard to pretend to be her. Don’t you have any conscience at all?” Red said in a very serious tone. it is very obvious he wasn’t joking.
Then red stared at Naomi from her hair. “You even bought a wig just to be like her but am telling you naomi. Even if Remita is among 100people or thousands of people I will still recognize her” Red said and dropped her hand.

Tears filled Naomi’s eyes. “But why do you like her so much. We have the same face” Naomi groaned.

Jeremy watched Genesis. He wanted her to be his girlfriend so badly. He likes Genesis so much. Daniel checked his wristwatch.

“If you really like her bro, just tell her. Don’t watch her till she becomes someone else’s girlfriend” said Daniel.Jeremy became scared as soon as Daniel said that.

Throughout their conversations, Naomi was busy looking at them. She was really angry and for the fact that Red did not notice her.

Red took Remita to his locker room and closed the door. “Why are you so naive Remita? Why did you allow him to touch you? Listen to me, no one is allowed to touch you not even a strand of your hair” Red said. it was obvious he is overprotective of Remita.

Remita slept off without knowing that she was late for school. She was already enjoying her sleeping moment then Grandma interrupted her sleep.

“Won’t you get up Remita? You are late. This is 8:30 am in the morning” Grandma uttered. As soon as grandma said that, Remita sprang up immediately.

~ What? ~ Remita thought.
She ran into the bathroom and took her bath quickly. She washed her hair. “Nana has been waiting for you for the past 30minutes. She is in the sitting room” Grandma said and went out of Remita’s room.

Naomi had already left since 8:00am earlier.
She intentionally did not wake Remita up.

Remita came out of the bathroom and dried her hair. She went to her wardrobe and brought out her school uniform. A yellow short skirt and an inner white shirt with a yellow jacket and a yellow bow tie. A white snickers to match.
Of course In melody high School. All the uniforms are different. The uniform for monday is different from the one of Tuesday. On friday, they can wear anything.
She sprayed her favorite perfume and comb her hair. She decided to let it down.

She stuffed her books into her bag pack and carried it and checked herself in the mirror. She rushed out.

She bade grandma goodbye.

Naomi gulped down the water in the cup after waking up. She had sneaked back into the house at exactly 2:00am in the morning.

Remita came out of her room with her laundry basket filled with clothes. Naomi saw Remita and ignored her. They both ignored each other.

Remita went to grandma’s room to pick up her used clothes.

Grandma was still sleeping.
Remita did not bother waking grandma.

Remita took the clothes out to the Washing machine beside Nana’s room.

She met nana there.

“Hey Remita good morning” Nana said and beamed with smile.

Remita beamed with smile and washed the clothes. Among the clothes she saw red’s shirt.

she brought it out and washed it. After 1hour of washing she spread the clothes on the line .

Nana was still washing her cloth.
Then naomi brought out her cloth and met nana.

Nana smiles at naomi.

“Hey naomi good morning” Nana said with smile.

“There is nothing good about the morning when you wake up and see someone who use to take everything away from you. Gaining guys attention” Naomi replied sharply.

It was obvious naomi was referring to Remita.

Nana became confused.Then she remembered the night naomi snuck out.

Remita was still sleeping not knowing anything.

” i have a limited time to live. In less than 3 months i will be saying goodbye to this painful world. I really hope you and naomi will not seperate when i am gone. i hope you will take care of each other and protect each other just like when we were in the village. But before dying i will make sure you will get your surgery done” Grandma said with tears and covered Remita with the duvet.

PEACE is Naomi’s Second name.

Grandma knocked on Naomi’s door but no one answered.

Red dialed sophie’s number and called it.
It was ringing.
But no one picked it.

Red called again but this time it was switched off.
