    FLASHBACK**

    Daisy sat in the backseat of the car, wearing her favorite pink dress and clutching her teddy bear. Her parents were chatting happily, their voices drifting over the sound of the radio.

    “Mom, I want to be a singer like you, and a songwriter like Dad,” Daisy said.

    Her mother turned around to smile at her. “You can be anything you want to be, honey, you have all the talent in the world.”she said.

    Daisy smiled back at her mother, feeling a warm glow inside. She loved her parents so much, and she knew they loved her too.

    There was a sudden loud pop, followed by a violent shaking of the car. Then, everything went black.

    When Daisy opened her eyes again, she was disoriented. Everything was upside down. She could feel the hot blood running down her face and pooling beneath her head. She turned her head to the side and saw her parents, lying motionless in the front seat, covered in blood.

    Daisy tried to speak, but she could only manage a few syllables. “Mo… da… please wake up.”

    The panic and fear were overwhelming, and she knew they were trapped in the car. Smoke was filling the air, making it hard to breathe. She tried to scream, but no sound came out. She was trapped, with no way to escape.

    Daisy’s eyes snapped open, and she realized she was in her own bed, safe at home. She was drenched in sweat, and her heart was pounding in her chest. She closed her eyes, trying to calm herself down.

    Then she heard her aunt calling her name again, this time from downstairs. She must have been calling for a while, for her voice sounded desperate. Daisy scrambled out of bed,and rushed down the stairs.

    As Daisy stepped into the living room, she saw her aunt and her cousin, Elisa, sitting on the sofa. They both looked up at her, their expressions unreadable.

    “Finally, you’re here,” her aunt said, her voice cold and unforgiving. “You have a lot of explaining to do.”

    Daisy’s heart sank. She had no idea what she had done to make her aunt so angry.

    “I’m… I’m sorry,” she stammered, but her aunt only glared at her, her eyes hard as ice.

    “Sorry won’t cut it, you’ve wasted enough of our time already. You’re lucky I’m not throwing you out on the street.” Her aunt said.

    She remembered how her aunt had taken her in, but how cold and demanding she had been. Daisy had felt like a servant in her own home, and her cousin, Elisa, had only made things worse. Elisa had been a source of constant torment, making fun of Daisy and belittling her at every turn.

    Rocky watched him go, his fists clenched and his eyes burning with anger. He turned and walked in the opposite direction, seething with resentment.

    A RESTAURANT**

    Daisy rushed into the restaurant, her heart still pounding from the argument she’d had with her aunt and cousin. She hurried to the dressing room to change into her uniform, eager to get to work and forget about her troubles.

    “You’re late, What took you so long.” her boss said, as she walked into the dining area.

    “I got caught in traffic, there was a huge accident and the whole road was blocked.” Daisy lied, trying to sound as convincing as possible.

    “You and your silly excuses, anyways go and serve table 4.” Her boss said and walked out from the changing room.

    “One cocktail, coming right up,” Daisy said, turning to grab the drink from the bar. She returned to the table and placed the cocktail in front of the customer, who didn’t even look up from his phone.

    As she turned to head back to the kitchen, she heard her name being called from the door. She turned to see her closest friends standing there, waving and smiling at her.

    “Daisy!” her friend Barbie called .

    “Oh Hi?” Daisy replied, a mixture of excitement and disbelief in her voice.

    Stephanie was now sitting on the ground, unable to keep standing after her husband began the tales of how he got another woman somewhere with sons for him.

    She couldn’t understand what the stuff he got from Tafeko had to do with Tracy’s trauma, neither could she tell what her future with Scot now held.

    Any other day, and her husband would have been terribly affected by her state.

    Any other time, and she knew that her husband would have been begging her to stop crying, but he was so unmoved by the tears, because he finished with the story he was telling her, and walked out of the house.

    Far away in Porthacourt, Tracy and Bruce were walking out of the shopping mall he had taken her to, to get some groceries.

    They arrived Porthacourt quite earlier than Bruce had anticipated, and decided to get some groceries for his house that had suddenly turned a married man’s house.

    While they walked out of the shopping mall, he noticed that the pains on his shoulder was intensifying, but he was growing concerned with the offensive odour that was now hugging him

    He drove her home quickly, and decided to see a doctor that night because he was just so worried with the thoughts that now went through his mind.

    “Baby, please settle down and get some rest. I have to get some personal stuffs in town. I’ll see you when I return” Bruce told his wife, kissed her goodbye, and went out with a ride he had to hire because he was having a hard time concentrating on driving, because of the pains.

    Tracy’s father sat in his room, listening to her screàm and assumed it was one of her routine strange behaviours.

    He was sick and tired of running to Tracy’s room each time she began to act strangely.

    There were times he’d rush into her room, only to find her dancing and laughing like a manïac, or singing her cacophonous melodies.

    As much as he wished to see Tracy rid of the tôrments, he was convinced that it wasn’t something that was going to end in Tracy’s lifetime, which was the major reason he was trying to get Bruce take her away from his household.

    He remained in his bedroom, listening to her wail, and waiting for the screàms to end like it usually did, but to no avail.

    “What is your problem this girl?” he muttered under his breath as he pushed the door to her room open, and found her wriggling on her bed.

    “Help me father, please help me. She tied my legs, see, she’s terrible” Tracy cried, pointing at her legs with her eyes firmly shut.

    “Tracy, your legs aren’t tied. Please do not keep making life difficult for me. I know that I have committed so many sins as a man, but I’m sure giving birth to a child, isn’t none of them!

    She got out of her room and went about her morning chores that morning, sweeping, cleaning and cooking, as she always did.

    Tracy was already used to living like a normal girl in the day time, and having to face the demôn that tôrmented her every night, but she was definitely tired of trying to imagine that she could live a normal life.

    She ignored the call, hoping that after the second ring, Bruce will stop calling, but he continued to call her, forgetting the etiquette that necessitates one to refrain from calling again immediately, when the called party doesn’t take the call after the second ring.

    “Bruce, please don’t call me again. I know that you’re trying to prove that you’re different, and that you will stand by me, but please, for the sake of whatever you said you feel for me, forget about me” she told Bruce, as soon as the call connected.

    “Can you hear yourself Tracy? How did that sound in your ears? I know you didn’t allow your heart and you brain to have a connection, before you spoke.

    “But now that the vocal cords allowed the sounds out, and you said what you have just said, did you by chance hear what you have just said” Bruce asked her, his voice shaking with ãnger.

    “You won’t understand Bruce, I am not good enough for you. You’re just too kind and honest to be fated to be with someone like me.

    “Please move in Bruce. I don’t want to be the reason you’re dragged into something even I, am yet to understand” Tracy said crying.

    “Okay Tracy. If that’s the way you want it, then I have to hang up now” he told her, and hung up, even before she had a chance to bid him farewell.

    Tracy dropped her phone besides herself as she slipped down the wall slowly, until she was sitting on the floor.

    “I had to do it Bruce. I had to do the right thing, because even thought it hurts me so bãdly, I know that I would be in your way, if I stayed” Tracy cried, thinking of how her life would have been, if she had been able to marry Bruce, the one guy the maidens of her community have been flocking around, fīghting to get him to notice them.

    She remained on the floor crying, as she thought of the promises of love untold, and a future so blissfully promising,and how for the sake of the spirit that chose her, and her alone for the tôrments, she was going to lose out.

    Chief Scot got tired of staying at home that day, because unlike before, when she usually woke up to a healthy and normal girl, she had woken up with extra acts that day.

    And he, who was yet to recover from the pains and shames of the previous day’s saga didn’t have the strength to face the extra drama she woke up with that day.

    So, he got up, picked his walking stick, and left the house.

    Elsewhere, Tracy’s mother was arguing with Ozonge chief priest. She looked very àngry, and talked with the chief priest like someone who was talking with an acquaintance, and not like one would talk to someone supposedly of higher and revered spiritual standing.

    “I don’t want to hear it chief priest! I have already made so much sacrifices to ensure that this troubles end.

    “Why isn’t she bound already? You told me you were going to ensure that she never got a chance to make a move on my daughter again, and that made me confidently allow the suitor to plan for an elaborate wedding ceremony.

    “Only for us to face the enormous shame that came with this failed marriage again.

    “Throw the cowries, blow the chalks and chant the incantations. There has to be something else to do.

    “I can’t allow my daughter pass the night with you in this shrine when I know what you’re capable of” Tracy’s mother said, shaking her legs furiously in her seated position.

    The chief Priest picked up his cowries and began to make the incantations, just as he had been requested to do.

    “There’s no way around it Stephanie, the girl has to come here. Only then will I be able to find Uloma when she makes a move on Tracy again, and be able to chain her permanently” the chief priest said.

I went into coma. i was in between life and death, then it turned out again that it was the doctor who trapped me in coma by giving me some vaccines. Him and his friend, they wanted me dead. But they were caught by Remita red handed. Alvin and Donald were arrested. weeks later, I woke up . Then i heard everything.     Vidah said and left without waiting for whatever he wants to say next.

    Finn followed her without knowing to her house.

    Then he left.

    Vidah got ready for school.
    She went to school.

    After spending 4 hours in school.
    it was closing hours.

    She went out of the school gate just to meet finn again waiting for her.

    ” You again? ” Vidah pointed to him.

    Finn put on a bright smile as he removed his sunglasses.

    " Hi pretty " Finn said.

    Vidah scoffed.

    ” what? ”

    ” You know what you don’t need to keep turning me down. ” Finn said.

    He moved closer to Vidah and dragged her to his car.

    He made her sit.
    He went to the other side and enter the car.
    He took Vidah away.

    Then rain started. it poured heavily that finn did not have any choice but to stop the car.
    Good thing they saw an old cottage.

    Fin got down and opened the car door for Vidah.
    They both ran to the old cottage.

    Vidah’s cloth got wet same as finn’s cloth.

    She got scared.

    Finn moved closer to her.
    She feel cold.

    Finn told her to remove her shirt.
    She refused but after some minutes she removed it.

    ” Do you need some warmth?” Finn asked with care.
    ” yes” Vidah replied.

    Then finn hugged Vidah.

    Vidah noticed the pair of earrings on his left ear.

    Vidah disengaged from the hug.

    ” Sorry ” Finn apologized .
    Finn began to crack jokes.
    They both Laughed out.

    Vidah found finn attractive and handsome. She fell in love with him instantly.

    The both stared at each other for a while and finn planted a kiss on vidah’s lips.

    Vidah reciprocated.
    She kissed him.

    The kiss turned into something else.

    Finn made Vidah sit on his laps.
    Vidah felt his d**k.

    They were both carried away.

    Vidah began to feel dizzy, she vomited.
    Elizabeth moved closer to Vidah.
    She was suspicious of vidah.
    She examined her with her eyes.

    She didn’t want to think that Vidah was pregnant.

    ” Vidah ” Elizabeth called.

    Vidah was shocked.

    " mom " Vidah said and rinsed her mouth and turned back to Elizabeth.

    ” What’s wrong with you? Are you sick? ”

    ” I am fine mom.. I just need a little rest ” Vidah said.

    " A little rest? and you are telling me you are okay.. you are too young to rest. Let's go to the doctor " Elizabeth said and dragged vidah to the only doctor available in the town.

" Your daughter is pregnant .... 5 weeks pregnant " the doctor said.

    ” What?? but how come? how? when? who impregnated her? ” Elizabeth was trapped in a confused state.

    The doctor frowned his face.

    ” how should I know? you should be asking your beloveth daughter those questions Elizabeth. She is old enough to know who impregnated her ” The doctor said.

    " She is old enough? at 15 ? what are you saying doctor? what are you saying? " Elizabeth said.

    Fear gripped Vidah she ran home.
    Elizabeth followed her.

    They got home.

    Elizabeth became so angry and gave Vidah a hot slap which send her to the floor.

    Tears rolled down Vidah’s cheek.

    ” How could you get pregnant at this age?? at 15 for goodness sake! This is not good at all. Can you imagine? I have planned for your future. I have done everything i could as a mother but still you repayed me with this pregnancy. How could you do this? ” Elizabeth said angrily.

    Vidah went on her knees. She held her mother’s feet.She was crying.

    " i am really sorry mother...please forgive me. i am sorry. I am really so sorry I beg for your forgiveness. i am sorry it won't repeat itself again. forgive me mother " Vidah said in tears.

Elizabeth stared at Vidah and burst into tears.

She cried for her daughter.

    Vidah consoled her.

    ” I swear I am sorry mom… it won’t ever repeat itself ”

    ” Finn got you pregnant right?? ”

    ” Yes… he is the one.. i am sorry mom ..

    Everyone knew finn has a bad guy.

    Vidah kept crying.

    After 9 months***

    Vidah gave birth to a baby which she didn’t name.

    Elizabeth named her Nanare.

    Because of nanare, Vidah couldn’t concentrate on her school work so grandma decided to take nanare to one of their relatives to take care of nanare.

    Vidah cried.

    Vidah fought with Finn.They reconciled again.

    She continued schooling.

    Finn lured her again into another love making.

    Vidah got pregnant again and this time she gave birth to twins.

    She was so ashamed of herself.

    She went to where Elizabeth took nanare to and she picked up nanare. She ran away with finn and nanare leaving the twins with her mother.

    Finn became rich at the city and took care of Nanare and Vidah.

    After some years, Nanare was already 23 years old.

    Finn and Vidah were involved in a car accident.

    Finn died but Vidah’s body was not retrieved.

    Then someone saved her. It turned out that Vidah had already lost her memory. The only thing she could remember was her name.

    She became rich again and she built Melon Star Music Entertainment .
