    Married To The Vengeful Billionaire:

    🔸(His Sweet Torture)🔸

“That’s what I thought, Lucia. You don’t have a choice, and I don’t have a—” George’s words were abruptly cut off as Lucia stood on her tiptoes, pressing her lips against his.

George’s hands instinctively gripped her waist, pulling her closer as their kiss deepened. He didn’t know what had come over him, but he couldn’t stop. His tongue explored her mouth, eliciting a soft moan from her.

When they finally pulled apart, they were both breathless.

“Come to the party with me,” Lucia said, her eyes pleading.

    “I—”

“Please,” she urged again before he could refuse. George nodded, and her face lit up with a smile as she took his hand, excitedly leading him inside.

    •••••••••

The mansion was elegantly decorated and filled with the perfect number of guests. Although the music hadn’t started yet, people mingled and sipped their drinks.

“Okay, bye.” Camila hung up her phone and faced the gathering. “Turn off the lights and hide under the tables! Dad’s coming!” she announced. Everyone quickly complied.

The door opened as Sofia wheeled Carlos in. The room was pitch-dark, and Carlos looked confused, but seconds later, the lights came back on as everyone shouted, “Surprise! Happy Birthday!”

Carlos glanced around, still trying to process it, but the emotion on his face showed how deeply touched he was.

“Happy birthday, Dad,” Camila greeted him warmly, walking up to give him a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

“Happy birthday, Dad,” Isabella added as she embraced him.

“Thank you, my daughters,” Carlos said, smiling gratefully. He tried to stand from his wheelchair.

“Dad, what are you doing?” Camila reached to stop him, but he raised his hand to halt her.

“I’ve got this,” he said firmly.

Camila glanced at Sofia, who nodded in reassurance. Carlos managed to stand, although unsteadily, but the sight made Camila’s eyes mist over—this had always been her father’s dream.

He struggled toward the podium, Sofia close behind, ready to catch him if he faltered.

“Isabella, look—Dad’s walking,” Camila said, her voice thick with emotion.

“He’s been practicing for this moment. I’m so happy for him,” Isabella responded.

The guests clapped in encouragement as Carlos made his way to the podium. Sofia stayed at his side, smiling supportively.

“I want to thank all of you for being here,” Carlos said once he reached the podium. His voice cracked slightly from emotion. “I feel so grateful, so touched—this party makes me feel young again,” he added, and the room erupted in applause.

Several waiters rolled out a table with his cake on it.

“Dad, we’re going to sing for you, and when we’re done, you’ll blow out the candles and cut the cake,” Camila explained, smiling at everyone. “Ready? Go!”

The crowd sang “Happy Birthday” with enthusiasm, and Carlos, grinning from ear to ear, cut the cake amidst cheers and laughter.

    ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

“Happy birthday, Mr. Carlos,” Alejandro greeted him, handing over a wrapped gift.

“You’ve been married to my daughter for months, and you still call me Mr. Carlos?” Carlos gave him a mock-scolding look.

    “Sorry, sir,” Alejandro apologized quickly.

“Sir?” Carlos raised an eyebrow. “Is that how you address family?”

Alejandro felt a wave of nervousness. He had run a successful business and dealt with clients twice the age of his father-in-law, but for some reason, Carlos made him nervous.

“Sweety, just call him Dad,” Sofia chuckled from beside them.

“Happy birthday… Dad,” Alejandro managed, his voice awkward. Camila smiled, rubbing his back in encouragement.

“You’re doing great, hubby. You’ll get used to it,” she whispered.

“Sit down, both of you,” Carlos gestured to the empty space beside him on the couch. Alejandro and Camila sat down.

“As I was saying earlier,” Carlos began, “you’ve been married for a while now. Have you thought about children?”

    Camila immediately started coughing.

“I’ll go get her some water,” Alejandro stood up, walking away quickly.

    ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

“Thanks for inviting me,” Chappell mumbled.

“You should thank my sister. She convinced me to invite you,” Isabella replied with an eye roll.

“So, does this mean you’ve forgiven me?” Chappell asked, hopeful.

Isabella sipped her drink, fixing Chappell with a serious look.

    “What?” Chappell asked, confused.

“Why are you suddenly so interested in being friends again?” Isabella inquired.

“It’s not just me who misses you, Isabella. Gloria misses you too, but we’re both afraid of Valeria. I never liked her, to begin with—I was just mad at you because of Ace,” Chappell confessed.

Isabella stayed silent for a moment before replying. “I’m sorry for going out with him. You were crazy about him, and I should’ve respected that.”

“It’s not your fault. Ace just wasn’t into me, and that’s fine. If you still have feelings for him, you should try to work things out,” Chappell suggested.

“I don’t miss him,” Isabella said with a faint smile, shaking her head.

    “What about Brett?” Chappell pressed.

“He was sweet, but I don’t think I miss him either. I just want to focus on me right now—no boys.”

“Yes! Let’s do that. We can hang out, have some girl time, and clear our heads!” Chappell exclaimed.

    “Yes!” Isabella beamed.

“I missed you,” Isabella said, her voice soft.

“I missed you too,” Chappell replied, pulling her into a tight hug.

Their moment was interrupted by slow, sarcastic clapping. It was Valeria, smirking.

“Well, isn’t this touching?” Valeria sneered, wiping away imaginary tears.

“What are you doing here?” Isabella demanded angrily.

“What do you mean? Your father is my father-in-law, so of course I’m invited,” Valeria said smugly.

“We’re not afraid of you, Valeria,” Chappell shot back.

Valeria smirked and approached her, squatting to meet Chappell’s eye level. “You should be,” she whispered menacingly.

Chappell tensed, but she fought not to look intimidated.

“Back off, Valeria. You’re such a bully—nothing like your brother!” Isabella said, stepping protectively in front of Chappell.

“And you’re so trusting, getting burned by three guys and forgiving a friend who betrayed you,” Valeria taunted, watching with satisfaction as Isabella’s face hardened.

“Your life must be so miserable if bullying others is the only way you get joy,” Chappell retorted.

“Whatever,” Valeria rolled her eyes. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a gift for your dad.” She winked and walked away.

Chappell turned to Isabella, her voice low. “I’m sorry about what she said. You’re not cheap.”

“I know,” Isabella replied with a small smile.

    ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

A few minutes later, the house was fully decorated, and the cake was ready, sitting proudly on the table. The doorbell rang, and Camila opened it to find Lucia, who threw herself into Camila’s arms.

“I can’t believe you made it!” Camila exclaimed, hugging her tight.

    “I told you I would, didn’t I?” Lucia smiled.

“Where’s your ‘bodyguard’?” Camila asked, using air quotes.

“He’s party-shy and refused to come in, but don’t worry, I’ll go drag him in,” Lucia laughed, turning to leave but then paused. “And by the way, he really is just my bodyguard,” she added with a smirk.

“Sure,” Camila replied, giving her a knowing smile.

“I’m serious!” Lucia scoffed. “I’m not standing here to explain myself!” Then she left.

Alejandro walked up and hugged Camila from behind. “Birthday decorations are exhausting,” he mumbled.

Camila smiled, holding his hands around her waist. “Haven’t you ever helped with birthday decorations for your family?” she asked.

“We don’t do that. We just buy each other gifts, and if I’m too busy, I send mine with someone else,” Alejandro explained.

“What about your birthday?” Camila asked.

“I don’t celebrate it. I’m usually too busy to care,” he shrugged.

“That’s not good,” Camila shook her head.

    ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Lucia stepped outside to find George. He was leaning against her car, his arms folded across his chest.

“What are you doing out here? Let’s go inside,” she called out to him.

“I told you, I’m good. I don’t like parties,” George replied flatly.

Lucia rolled her eyes. “It’s just Camila’s father’s birthday party. You don’t have to drink if you don’t want to, and if you don’t feel like dancing, no one will make you. It’s not a big deal,” she said, trying to persuade him.

“Still not going,” George said firmly, refusing to budge.

Lucia stomped her foot in frustration. “Come on, why are you acting like this!?”

“The real question is, why do you want me there? You’ll be with your friends and plenty of other people. You won’t even notice I’m not there,” George replied, nearly rolling his eyes.

“That’s it!” Lucia snapped, marching toward him. She grabbed his hand and tried pulling him along, but he didn’t move an inch. She tugged harder, but he effortlessly pulled her toward him, her hands landing on his shoulders.

“I told you I’m not going. Why are you so determined to force me?” he whispered, his voice low and deep. All Lucia could focus on was the intensity of his eyes and how his lips, strangely enough, were becoming more attractive to her.

She blinked several times, trying to clear her thoughts, but the sound of a car pulling up in front of them broke the tension. Chandler stepped out of the car, and in the passenger seat was Fernando.

Lucia quickly stepped back from George.

“Your husband is here. Looks like you won’t need me anymore,” George muttered, though it was unclear whether he was speaking casually or with a hint of pain.

“We’re not married yet,” Lucia corrected.

    “Doesn’t matter,” George mumbled.

Chandler and Fernando approached them. “I’ve been calling you non-stop. Where’s your phone?” Fernando asked, his tone sharp.

“I’m not obligated to answer your calls,” Lucia scoffed, her tone biting.

“When we’re married, I’m sure you’ll be obligated to do anything I say,” Fernando smirked. He glanced at George, and the two exchanged a long, tense stare before Fernando scoffed and walked into the mansion.

Lucia turned to Chandler, her expression one of disgust. “Do you really approve of Fernando marrying me?” she asked.

“What do you want me to say?” Chandler replied with a shrug.

“It’s Fernando we’re talking about! Your friend! The one who owns a strip club, the one who changes girls like they’re shoes!” Lucia exclaimed, her frustration evident.

“Lucia, I can’t undo what’s already been arranged. You’ve been engaged since you were kids. That’s how Fernando and I became friends in the first place. Yes, he has a reputation, but I know one thing—when he’s serious about something, he’s serious,” Chandler said before heading inside.

“You should listen to your brother,” George mumbled.

Lucia turned to him slowly. “You want me to get married? Is that what you really want?” she asked, her eyes beginning to mist with unshed tears.

“What do you want me to say?” George asked, his voice quiet.

    “Just say something!” Lucia pleaded.

    “Say what?” George looked confused.

“Anything!” Lucia’s voice cracked as a tear slipped down her cheek. “Just say something, George. It’s important to me to hear what you think.”

“It’s that important?” George huffed, almost in disbelief.

“Take it or leave it, but yes!” Lucia replied stubbornly.

George stepped closer, the space between them shrinking to just a few centimeters. He looked down at her, his height towering over her shorter frame.

“If I say no, would you call off the wedding?” he asked quietly. Lucia stared up at him, unable to find her voice.

George chuckled softly. “That’s what I thought, Lucia. You don’t have a choice, and I don’t have a—”

He was abruptly cut off when Lucia stood on her tiptoes, closing the gap between them as she pressed her lips to his.

    Married To The Vengeful Billionaire:

    🔸(His Sweet Torture)🔸

The next day, the security team helped Alejandro and Camila load their bags into the car. Peter hurriedly opened the door for them, and the ride to the Perez mansion began.

“My dad’s going to wake up and find no one home. He’ll be so confused, but I don’t want him to worry too much,” Camila mumbled.

Alejandro rubbed her thigh. “He’ll be fine.”

Camila shared more stories about her father, and Alejandro listened attentively. Soon, the car stopped; they had arrived at their destination.

Alejandro opened his door and then helped Camila out, leading her down.

“What time should I come back?” Peter asked.

“I’ll call you,” Alejandro replied, grabbing their bags and heading inside. The house was quiet—no one had arrived yet.

“I guess we came a little too early,” Alejandro muttered.

“We’re not early. It might take a few minutes to bake the cake,” Camila said, setting down the bags she brought, along with everything she needed to bake.

“Do you need help?” Alejandro asked.

“Yes, but you can’t bake in a suit. You’ll have to take it off and put on an apron,” Camila replied, smiling.

Alejandro did as she instructed and Camila can’t help but admire how sexy he looked in his undershirt.

“No one is here, you can take a picture” Alejandro smirked.

“So full of yourself” Camila scoffed.

Alejandro chuckled and grabbed an apron with a pair of gloves from the bag, handing a set to Camila as well.

Camila mixed some flour and gave him some to knead. She also mixed the ingredients needed for the cake. As they stood side by side, working, Camila couldn’t help but admire how focused Alejandro was.

She smiled. “This is so nice, don’t you think?”

“What?” Alejandro asked, glancing over at her as she chuckled.

    “What?” he asked again, playfully.

“You’ve got something on your face,” she teased, pointing at his cheek.

Alejandro attempted to wipe it off but only managed to smear it further with his flour-covered finger. Camila giggled and reached up to help, only to make it worse.

“Oops,” she laughed, pulling out her phone. “Smile for the camera,” she said, ignoring Alejandro’s serious expression as she snapped a picture.

“You’re going to regret that,” Alejandro warned, shaking his head before walking toward her. She ran, but he easily caught up, lifting her onto his shoulder.

“Hey, put me down!” Camila struggled, laughing. He gently set her down on the counter, standing between her legs.

“What do you think about bears?” he asked, scrunching his face as if deep in thought.

“Don’t you dare!” Camila giggled, but Alejandro ignored her. He took some flour mixture and began playfully smearing it on her face. Camila couldn’t stop laughing. Once he finished, Alejandro pulled out his phone and snapped a picture of her.

“You’re so going to regret this!” Camila laughed. A bit of batter dripped onto her lips, and she slowly licked it off.

“Damn, that was sexy,” Alejandro mumbled huskily. “Let me help you with that.” He leaned in, his tongue gently tracing the batter on her face. Camila pulled him closer, and soon their lips met in a passionate kiss.

    “I knew this would happen!”

Startled by the voice, Alejandro and Camila quickly pulled away from each other. Camila jumped down from the counter, busying herself with where she’d left off.

Sofia and Isabella had just walked in, shopping bags in hand.

“Brother-in-law, you’ve got a little something here,” Isabella teased, pointing at her cheek, suppressing a smile.

Camila handed Alejandro a clean rag, and he wiped his face immediately.

“Mom, you told us to come early, but no one was here,” Camila said, trying to divert attention from what had just happened.

“We were early. We just stepped out to grab some decorations,” Sofia explained. “Speaking of decorations, Alejandro, would you mind helping me out?” Sofia asked.

Alejandro nodded, washing his hands before giving Camila a quick peck on the cheek and heading off with Sofia.

“I guess I’ll take over from here,” Isabella sighed, putting on an apron and gloves. She picked up where Alejandro had left off, squeezing the dough.

“It’s been a while since we’ve done something like this together,” Camila said, watching her.

“You got married, you’re busy, and soon you’ll have kids to raise. I don’t blame you,” Isabella chuckled.

“Yeah, we haven’t thought about kids yet. There’s no rush,” Camila muttered. A silence settled between them for a few minutes before Camila glanced at Isabella.

    “Are you okay?” she asked.

“Yeah,” Isabella nodded, but her expression was tense.

“Are you sure?” Camila pressed, her brow furrowing with concern.

“Why are you asking? Did Mom tell you something?” Isabella asked defensively.

“Mom doesn’t have to say anything for me to know you’re not okay,” Camila replied gently, flashing her a knowing smile.

“I’m not fine, but I’m trying,” Isabella confessed. “School’s been a nightmare since you got married. Alejandro’s sister came in and took everything from me. Then, I liked three guys, only to end up heartbroken. The first one left me for Valeria, the second didn’t trust me, and the third one—who I thought understood me—turned out to be gay. He was using me to make his boyfriend jealous.” Isabella’s voice cracked as she aggressively worked the dough.

“Poor girl,” Camila pouted, washing her hands before giving her sister a comforting hug.

“It sucks that you’re feeling this way, but you’re human, and you’re still young. You’ll find someone eventually. For now, just focus on yourself,” Camila advised softly.

    Isabella nodded.

“Mom mentioned that one of your friends tried to apologize, but you kicked her out?” Camila asked.

“I don’t need friends,” Isabella scoffed.

“Yes, you do. I think you should give her a second chance,” Camila urged, giving her a warm smile.

    “But what if—”

“Don’t think ‘what if.’ Invite her to Dad’s party,” Camila suggested, resuming her work on the cake.

    POLICE STATION***

The harsh flashes of camera lights followed Rafael as he made his way to the station. Reporters bombarded him with questions.

“Is it true you were stealing from Ruiz Royal Estate?”
“Why did you steal from Ruiz Royal Estate?”
“Rumors suggest you paid one of Alejandro’s workers to steal for you. Is this true?”

Rafael ignored the questions, heading straight into the station. Sandra was seated in the visitors’ room. She stood when she saw him.

“Rafael, please, get me out of here!” she pleaded, but he squinted at her like he didn’t know her. He sat down, crossing his legs comfortably.

“This is Sandra Rivera. She was arrested for involvement in the data breach at Ruiz Royal Estate. She claims she acted under your instructions,” the chief officer said.

Rafael turned to Julian, confused. “Do you recognize her?” he asked. Julian shook his head.

Sandra stared at them in disbelief. “You’re both unbelievable! Don’t you dare do this to me, Rafael! I only helped you!” she cried, but Rafael remained unfazed.

An officer came in with some files. “Sir, he’s been cleared. We’ve completed our investigation, and all surveillance footage checks out. None of the employees recognize her,” the officer reported.

“This isn’t the first time we’ve seen baseless accusations like this, officer. Many businessmen face false lawsuits,” Rafael’s lawyer added.

“He’s lying, officer! He made me do all of this!” Sandra cried again.

“That’s enough. Take her back to the cell,” the chief officer ordered, and a female officer escorted Sandra away in handcuffs.

“We apologize for the inconvenience, Mr. Marcus,” the chief officer said apologetically.

“I’ll admit it’s frustrating that you barged into my company like that, but I know you were just doing your job,” Rafael replied calmly.

“We hope you accept our apology,” the officer pleaded.

Rafael rolled his eyes, standing up. Julian and his lawyer followed suit. “Julian, I can’t miss the press event tonight,” Rafael instructed. Julian nodded, and Rafael exited the station.

“Mr. Marcus, will you press charges against Ruiz Royal Estate for attempting to damage your reputation?” his lawyer asked.

“I’ll let it slide,” Rafael mumbled.

    ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

    RUIZ MANSION***

*The lawsuit against Rafael Marcus, CEO of Marcus Global Ventures, has been proven false. Mr. Rafael has decided not to press charges against Alejandro Ruiz, CEO of Ruiz Royal Estate, despite the attempt to tarnish his reputation.

*Ruiz Royal Estate has been dealing with data breaches recently, causing some clients to lose confidence—

Camila turned off the TV, interrupting Alejandro’s focus.

“You don’t need this right now,” she said gently.

“It’s just not fair! That scumbag seems to have gotten away again,” Alejandro said angrily, as Camila walked to the fridge to grab a cold juice.

“He may have escaped this time, but I promise, it’s not the end of the world,” she said softly, opening the juice and handing it to him. “Drink this to calm down for now.”

Alejandro nodded and took a few sips. “Come here,” he said, patting his lap. Camila sat down as he gently pulled her closer. “No matter what happens, just remember—I’ll always protect you.” His voice was softer now.

    Camila nodded. “I trust you.”

Alejandro gazed at her face and smiled. She smiled back but then seemed to remember something. “Tomorrow is my dad’s birthday, and while I was shopping, I saw this really cute suit. I wasn’t sure if you’d like it, but…”

“I’ll love anything that comes from you,” Alejandro replied without hesitation.

“You’re so cheesy,” Camila teased, handing him the suit. “Mom said we should come early to help with the preparations. The party’s at a rented venue, and she wants me to bake and help with the food.”

“Of course, we’ll be there early,” Alejandro agreed, and Camila nodded in appreciation.

“Do you like the suit?” she asked after a moment.

“I love it,” he said with a warm smile.

    ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

    CYBER HOUSE***

A soft knock echoed on Elijah’s door before Alan stepped inside. He sighed, shaking his head at the sight of Elijah sprawled messily across his bed.

“How long have you been here, Captain?” Alan asked, moving closer.

“I don’t think you should call me ‘Captain’ anymore,” Elijah mumbled.

“That’s nonsense,” Alan scoffed, sitting at the edge of the bed. “We’re not done yet. Just because Ace left doesn’t mean the world’s turned against you.”

“It feels like the whole world hates me now,” Elijah muttered, staring at the ceiling.

“No one hates you, Elijah. They’re just shocked, but they’ll get over it. And Ace? He’s just angry—he’ll come around,” Alan said reassuringly.

    Elijah remained silent.

“It’s hard seeing you like this. I hope you pull yourself together soon. We’re all waiting for you.” Alan stood up, ready to leave, but before he reached the door, Elijah’s voice stopped him.

“Thank you for standing by me at my lowest. You’re my true brother,” Elijah said gratefully.

Alan paused for a moment, a thought crossing his mind: “What if I don’t want to be your brother?” But instead, he gave a strained smile and left the room, closing the door quietly behind him.

    Married To The Vengeful Billionaire:

    🔸(His Sweet Torture)🔸

“Fernando?” Lucia called out, looking surprised at the man seated with her parents.

“Peanuts,” Fernando smirked, causing her to glare at him.

“You two already know each other? That’s wonderful!” Mrs. Landon smiled. “Why don’t you sit down so we can discuss everything?”

    “No!” Lucia shook her head.

“No?” Mr. Landon gave her a disappointed look.

“I’m not marrying Fernando or anyone else!” she declared firmly. George, though trying to seem disinterested, couldn’t help but glance at her, surprised to hear about the marriage.

“Why not? You’re not getting any younger, sweetheart,” Mrs. Landon gave her a sympathetic look.

“I know, Mom, which is why I brought him here.” She grabbed George’s arm and pulled him forward. “Mom, Dad, Fernando—this is my boyfriend, George Williams. I didn’t tell you earlier because I didn’t want you to judge me. I know you always wanted me to marry someone wealthy, but George makes me happy,” Lucia explained, while George looked at her, confused.

“Interesting,” Fernando muttered, sipping his cocktail through a straw.

“You’re being ridiculous,” Mr. Landon frowned.

“I’m serious, Dad. George, say something to my father,” Lucia prompted, nudging George.

George cleared his throat awkwardly. “Mr. Landon, I love your daughter very much. I hope you’ll consider giving us a chance,” he muttered, while Lucia smiled discreetly.

Mrs. Landon glanced at her husband in frustration while he rubbed his temples, shaking his head, uncertain about what to do.

Fernando stood up, walking towards Lucia, but George stepped in front of her, seeing how tense she was becoming.

“I don’t care about whatever relationship you two have,” Fernando said coolly, ignoring George. “I’ve already sent enough money for the engagement ring. I’ll pick you up for lunch tomorrow, and that’s when I’ll propose.” Without waiting for a response, he walked away.

“George, wait for me in the car. I’ll be right there,” Lucia whispered. George nodded and left.

“What do you think you’re doing, Lucia? We know that’s a random guy you hired to play along,” Mrs. Landon accused.

“But he’s not, Mom!” Lucia sighed in frustration.

“Lucia, you need to marry him. It’s business, and you know it. You’ve been engaged to him since childhood, and the agreement was to marry when you turned 24. Fernando won’t tolerate us going back on our word,” Mr. Landon said gently.

“I get it, Dad. You both sold me off for business because I’m a woman, and in your eyes, I don’t matter. Fernando has tormented me since we were young. I hate him,” Lucia crossed her arms angrily.

“You’re adults now. You’ll get along just fine. But stop calling him ‘Geography’,” Mr. Landon said.

“It’s George!” she snapped. “And I’m tired of you two making decisions for me. Good night!” She turned and stormed out, ignoring her parents’ calls for her to come back.

    •••••••••••••••••

Lucia got back to the car where George was sitting silently. She slipped into the seat next to him, and the drive started. The silence between them felt heavy. After a few moments, Lucia felt the need to explain herself.

“I know this is all surprising, but tomorrow, we’re having lunch together. I’ll buy a ring, and you’ll propose to me,” she mumbled. George clenched his jaw.

“Is that why you asked me to come with you to New York? To use me?” he asked, barely containing his anger.

“Why do you think I’ve been paying you all this money? Last I checked, it was you who owed me. You’re supposed to do me favors,” Lucia scoffed.

George stared at her, incredulous. “I was minding my own business, but you dragged me into this. I don’t like being helped by people who turn around and blackmail me. I was doing fine on my own until you came along and ruined my life!” he snapped harshly.

Lucia chuckled bitterly, then turned to the driver. “Stop the car,” she ordered. The driver complied immediately.

“You’re such a bastard, George!” she yelled before stepping out of the car.

“Where are you going? You don’t know your way around New York!” George called after her, but she ignored him.

    ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Lucia walked alone through the dark alley, scoffing at her own situation. She paused when a rat scurried out from a trash can. Suddenly, she felt like someone was following her. Tightening her grip on her bag, she quickened her pace. The footsteps behind her got closer. She turned to see two men approaching.

“We won’t hurt you. Just drop your bag and phone,” one of the men said, pulling out a knife.

Lucia screamed and ran. The men chased after her, gaining speed. She tried to run faster, but her heels made it difficult. They were closing in when she collided with someone.

    It was George.

He glanced at her briefly before turning to face the men. “Leave, now,” he warned.

“Or what?” the man with the knife sneered.

“Or this,” George said, landing a swift kick to the man’s face. The second man tried attacking him from behind, but George caught his hand, twisting it until the knife fell to the ground.

The first man stood up, trying to punch George, but George dodged his attacks, delivering several punches in return. The second man, now recovered, lunged at George, but George easily evaded him, throwing him into his friend.

Realizing they were outmatched, the men retreated. George brushed himself off and walked back to Lucia.

“What were you thinking, coming here alone?” he shook his head, frustrated.

Lucia, pushing some stray hair back from her face, looked down. “I’m still your boss. Just because you saved me doesn’t mean you can call me a fool,” she muttered.

George stepped closer, gently lifting her chin so she could look him in the eyes. His thumb wiped away a tear she hadn’t realized was falling.

“Let’s go,” he said softly. Lucia nodded, and he took her hand, leading her back to the car.

    PEREZ MANSION***

Isabella was lying in her bedroom when a soft knock sounded at her door. She sighed, pulling the blanket over her head. Her mother had been knocking non-stop.

The door opened, and Sofia entered, her face filled with concern.

“What do you want this time, Mom?” Isabella asked tiredly.

“Your friend is here to see you,” Sofia replied.

“I don’t have friends,” Isabella scoffed, rolling her eyes.

Sofia stepped aside, and Chappell slowly walked in. Isabella leaped off the bed, glaring at both her mother and Chappell.

“Mom, what is she doing here?” Isabella demanded angrily.

“Sweetie, calm down. She just wants to talk,” Sofia said softly, trying to soothe her.

“I don’t want to talk to her or anyone! Tell her to leave!” Isabella shouted, turning her back to them.

“It’s okay, Isabella. I understand I’m not the person you want to see right now, but hear me out. I’m sorry about everything. I never really liked Valeria,” Chappell said apologetically.

“It doesn’t matter now. Why are you here anyway? You heard I broke up with Ace, and now you want my permission to date him?” Isabella retorted bitterly.

“Trust me, I don’t care about Ace,” Chappell sighed.

“I don’t care what you care about. Just leave me alone. I’ve been alone for so long. What makes you think I want that to change now? Leave!” Isabella pointed to the door, her voice filled with frustration.

Sofia placed a hand on Chappell’s shoulder. “Sweetie, I think it’s best if you come back later,” Sofia said gently.

Chappell bit her lip and nodded.

“I know you don’t want to hear from me or anyone, but I’m truly sorry for everything that happened. I was angry about Ace, but you don’t deserve any of this. I hope you stay safe,” Chappell said softly, but Isabella remained silent.

Chappell glanced at Sofia before leaving.

“I hope you understand that people make mistakes, sweetie. And people deserve second chances. Real friends acknowledge their wrongs and deserve forgiveness,” Sofia said before closing the door behind her.

Isabella grabbed her pillow and angrily threw it at the door.

    EVENING: AIRPORT***

Lucia’s private jet finally touched down in New York City. She smiled as she descended the stairs, while George trudged behind her, carrying all her luggage.

A black car was waiting for them. Lucia reached the car, then abruptly turned to face him.

“Will it take you ten years to get here?” she snapped, ignoring the fact that he was struggling with the numerous bags.

“And will it take more than four bags to travel to another country?” George muttered under his breath, though he didn’t dare say it aloud. He only lowered his head and quickened his pace.

He finally reached the car, but Lucia was still glaring at him, her arms crossed over her chest.

“Are you going to make me open the door myself?” she demanded.

George’s jaw tightened. He struggled to juggle the luggage before finally managing to open the door for her.

She smiled smugly as she stepped inside. George had to remind himself that he was doing this for the money.

During the drive, Lucia’s phone began ringing. She answered it quickly.

“Hello, Mom?” she said, but whatever her mother told her seemed to deflate her mood instantly.

“Oh,” she mumbled. “Bye.” She hung up. George stole a quick glance at her, noticing the sudden sadness on her face. He was tempted to ask what was wrong, but he thought better of it and kept silent.

“Could you please take a turn to The Great Restaurant?” she requested the driver.

“Yes, ma’am,” the driver replied, making a U-turn.

    •••••••••••••••

    THE GREAT RESTAURANT***

The driver pulled into the restaurant’s parking lot. George stepped out and opened the door for Lucia, but she continued staring straight ahead.

“Luci… Madam Lucia. We’ve arrived at the restaurant,” George informed her gently.

“Oh, what?” Lucia snapped back to reality.

“We’re at the restaurant now, so let’s go,” he repeated. Lucia nodded, stepping out of the car.

As they made their way inside, Lucia spotted her parents sitting at a table with a man she recognized as her potential suitor.

    Married To The Vengeful Billionaire:

    🔸(His Sweet Torture)🔸

Sandra paced back and forth in the women’s restroom, her phone pressed to her ear. After several rings, the person she was calling finally picked up.

“Hello, Julian. Can you put Rafael on the phone? I need to speak with him,” Sandra demanded impatiently, glancing around to ensure no one was watching.

“I’m sorry, I can’t help you with that. Rafael is busy,” Julian replied curtly.

“It’s urgent! I need to talk to him. Put him on the damn phone!” Sandra fumed.

“I don’t need to repeat myself. Mr. Rafael is busy. If it’s that important, leave a voice message,” Julian said flatly.

“Julian, don’t you dare—” Sandra’s words were cut off as Julian hung up. She cursed under her breath and dialed another number.

“Sorry, this customer is not available at the moment. Please leave a voice message. Thank you.”

“Rafael, I’m warning you, don’t play games with me. Alejandro is conducting a massive search at the company. I’ve helped you for so long, and if you abandon me, I’ll bring you down with me. I swear!” she ranted before angrily sending the voice message.

She sighed, glancing at herself in the mirror. She adjusted her hair and touched up her lipstick before stepping out of the restroom.

Two officers approached her, causing her to look confused and frightened.

“You’re Sandra Rivera?” the first officer asked. Sandra nodded, nervously rubbing her arms.

“You’re coming with us,” the second officer said, pulling out handcuffs.

Sandra shook her head, tears slipping from her eyes. “I don’t understand. Why are you arresting me?”

“We found suspicious data exchanges in your system. You’re the prime suspect in a data breach, and we need you to come to the station for questioning,” the officer explained as he cuffed her.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about! You can’t do this to me. Diego, help me!” Sandra pleaded, but Diego stood helplessly.

“Boss, please, Mr. Alejandro,” she cried, turning to Alejandro, whose expression was icier than usual. Camila stood beside him, which only fueled Sandra’s anger.

The reason she was in this mess was to get Camila out of Alejandro’s life. Now, her own life was falling apart, and Camila remained unscathed, standing tall and strong.

“It’s all your fault! Don’t celebrate too soon because this isn’t over!” she screamed, pointing at Camila as the officers dragged her away.

Camila offered a small smile, hugging Alejandro lightly. “It’s fine now.”

“No, it’s not. Just because we caught her doesn’t mean someone else won’t try something worse,” he replied, then turned to Diego. “Schedule a meeting with all the employees before the end of the day.”

    “Yes, boss,” Diego nodded.

Alejandro took Camila back to his office. He sat at his desk, unusually quiet, which worried her.

“Is everything okay?” she asked gently.

He smiled, though it didn’t reach his eyes. “I just feel so useless. I can’t completely protect my company. These people trust me so much, but it feels like everything is slipping through my fingers,” he confessed.

Camila moved behind him, placing her hands on his shoulders to give him a gentle massage.

“You’re doing your best, hubby. You’re a hardworking man, and people are lucky to be under your leadership. If anyone should be ashamed, it’s Rafael. Think about it—why would he try to steal from you unless he’s intimidated by you?” Camila reasoned.

“He wants to be you because he secretly admires you. That’s the impact you have on people, hubby,” she smiled.

Alejandro took her hand, kissing it softly. “What did you call me?”

    “Huh?” Camila furrowed her brows.

“I asked what you called me,” he repeated.

“Hubby,” she replied shyly. He suddenly pulled her close, his lips finding hers in a passionate kiss. He held her tightly, not wanting to let go.

“Say it again,” he murmured, his eyes burning with desire.

“Hubby,” Camila mumbled cutely, and Alejandro captured her lips again, kissing her deeply. He pulled back, cupping her cheek, looking at her with tenderness and love.

“You’re my wife, Camila, my only one. I can’t picture myself with anyone else but you,” he said sincerely. Camila tried to suppress her smile, but it was impossible.

They began kissing again, Alejandro’s lips trailing from hers to her neck. He inhaled her sweet, floral scent before nibbling and kissing her skin. One of his hands massaged her breast while the other caressed her thigh, moving higher and higher.

“Alejandro… Hubby… We can’t do this here. What if someon—”

She couldn’t finish before his fingers slid inside her. Her eyes rolled back as he moved his fingers faster.

“Alejandro, we really can’t do this here,” Camila moaned.

“Then why are you grinding against my fingers, you naughty girl?” he whispered, adding another finger. He moved faster, and Camila clung to his shoulders for support.

The door swung open, and Diego stepped in.

“Boss, the me— I’m so sorry!” Diego shut his eyes, turning away quickly.

“Stop, Alejandro!” Camila tried to push his hand away, but he didn’t stop. She bit her lip, stifling her moans.

“Give me a few minutes. Tell the board I’m in the middle of something important and will join them shortly,” Alejandro instructed Diego, still moving his fingers inside Camila.

“Yes, boss. Right away!” Diego stammered, rushing out.

Camila threw her head back, panting.

“At least cum for me. I won’t be at peace if I don’t feel your release on my fingers before I leave,” he whispered huskily. She was so close, her body trembling.

“Yes, baby, give it to me. Let me have it,” Alejandro encouraged, watching her face turn red, her eyes rolling back as she screamed in pleasure.

“Yes, let me have all of it,” he said, feeling her juices coat his fingers. He finally withdrew his hand and slowly licked his fingers clean.

“Thank your stars I have a meeting today. Otherwise, I’d rip off that sexy blouse and take you right here on this desk,” he teased, gently tilting her chin as she caught her breath.

He stood and adjusted his tie.

“Aren’t you going to wash your hands?” Camila asked shyly.

“No, I want to carry your scent with me,” he replied, winking before leaving the office.

    MEXICO: LUCIA’S DESIGN**

Lucia had been restless ever since her parents shocked her with the news of moving to New York to get married.

“Miss Lucia, here’s the hot cup of coffee you ordered,” her assistant said as she entered the office with a mug. She flashed a smile at George, who didn’t return it.

Lucia was so engrossed in her thoughts that she accidentally spilled the coffee on her hand.

“Ouch!” she screamed, and George quickly rushed to her.

He took her hand and began blowing on it gently. Luckily, the burn wasn’t severe, so he asked for a bag of ice to soothe her hand.

“Ouch, gently—it hurts,” Lucia winced as the bag touched her arm.

George sighed, resisting the urge to press the bag harder. “I don’t know what’s wrong with you sometimes. You’re an adult, but you act like a child. Just look at what you did to yourself!” he scolded her.

Lucia pouted, wondering why he was making her nervous when she was his boss.

“Uh, will you move to New York with me?” she suddenly asked, and George let go of her hand.

“I’ll pay you triple,” she added before he could respond.

“It wasn’t part of our agreement,” George said, trying to stay calm.

“It wasn’t part of mine either, and I’m a busy woman. Things change, and I would like you to come to New York with me. You have no choice, George. It’s part of your job unless you want to quit,” she said, smirking.

George was silent for a moment before asking, “That deal where you said you’d pay me triple, is it still on?”

“You sly devil,” Lucia scoffed, shaking her head.

    BRIARWOOD SCHOOL**

“Did you hear what happened? Isabella is so messed up right now,” Chappell said to Abby, Gloria, and Valeria at their lockers.

“Who cares? She deserves it anyway,” Abby said, rolling her eyes.

“I just think it’s too much for one person to handle. Imagine falling for someone only to find out they’re gay. Valeria, shouldn’t you be upset too? Elijah used you,” Chappell pointed out, glancing at Valeria, who responded with an eye roll.

“Guess who outed his gay ass?” Valeria smirked.

“No way, you didn’t!” Gloria and Abby gasped, clearly fascinated.

“I did. And I’ll do the same to anyone who tries to cross me. I’ll ruin them,” she stated, her voice carrying an ominous undertone that sent shivers down their spines. The thought of their own secrets being exposed made them uneasy.

“Anyway,” Valeria clapped her hands, snapping them back to the present, “it’s the end of the day, and I need to get home early. See you guys tomorrow?”

“Yeah, see you tomorrow,” they echoed, waving in unison as she walked away, her steps graceful and composed.

Chappell waited until Valeria was out of sight before speaking. “I think I might be a bit scared of her. Don’t you guys think Valeria is… odd?” she asked cautiously.

“What are you talking about? Valeria is awesome,” Abby dismissed with a wave of her hand.

“She’s cool, yeah, but she’s also kind of… unsettling. I don’t get why she hates Isabella so much. I mean, they’re sisters-in-law. They should be bonding since their siblings are in love,” Chappell reasoned.

“Are you serious right now, Chappell? This is Isabella we’re talking about—she dated Ace,” Abby reminded her sharply.

“Yeah, she stole him from you. What a bitch,” Gloria chimed in.

“Well, Ace was never really mine in the first place, so she had every right to be with him,” Chappell mumbled.

“You’re unbelievable, Chappell. Fine, I admit Valeria can be scary, but what can we do? Do you want to end up like Elijah?” Gloria pointed out.

“I heard he’s lost almost a million followers, and it hasn’t even been twenty-four hours,” Abby added. “I can’t imagine what my life would be like without all my Instagram followers.” She shuddered at the thought.

“Relax, okay? I don’t plan to get on Valeria’s bad side,” Chappell mumbled, clearly unsettled.

    NEXT DAY: RUIZ ROYAL ESTATE***

Sandra arrived at the company, looking perplexed as she noticed several security personnel patrolling the office meticulously. She immediately approached a nearby female employee.

    “What’s going on?” she asked.

“Apparently, there’s been an issue with theft and data breaches in the company. The boss has ordered tighter security and a thorough investigation throughout the office for the week,” the employee explained.

“Oh,” Sandra murmured, clutching her work clothes tightly, trying to calm her racing heart.

    LAST NIGHT – LANDON’S RESIDENCE(FLASHBACK)**

“You’re getting married soon, Lucia,” Mrs. Landon announced, dropping a bombshell that made Lucia’s fork slip from her hand.

    “What?”

“Your mother said you’re getting married,” Mr. Landon repeated. Lucia glanced at Chandler, who seemed as taken aback as she was, though he maintained his usual calm demeanor.

“Why do I need to get married?” she asked, her voice strained.

“Honey, you’re not getting any younger. And this man is really good; he’s the son of a trusted friend. He’s wealthy and handsome, just like the type of men you like. We know you’ll like him,” Mrs. Landon said confidently.

    •••

“Did you ask your mom who he is?” Camila asked, staring at Lucia through the phone screen.

“I was too shocked to ask, but I bet I’ll meet him soon,” Lucia replied.

“So, are you going to marry this guy? What about George?” Camila probed.

“I’m not marrying him. When I see him, I’ll tell him to forget about me because I’m seeing someone else. I’m not ready to get married yet,” Lucia pouted.

“You’ll be fine, honey. It was the same for me. I never planned on getting married, but I did, and now I’m enjoying it,” Camila smiled.

“Goodbye, Camila. If you’re just going to encourage me,” Lucia scoffed and ended the call.

Camila chuckled until she felt familiar lips on her neck. “You’re enjoying marriage now, aren’t you?” Alejandro whispered, teasingly biting her neck.

“No, Alejandro, not now. At least don’t bite me. I still have to go to work today,” Camila softly pushed him away, but he only responded by pulling her closer.

“What if I don’t want you to go to work today because I want to decorate your neck with my teeth?” he teased, nibbling her neck even more.

“Alejandro, that tickles!” Camila laughed, gently pushing him off. He stopped and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

“Morning, love bite,” he said softly.

“Morning, Alejandro,” Camila replied, earning a deep frown from him. “What?” she asked, looking innocent.

“What did you just call me?” he asked, his tone playful.

“Alejandro,” she repeated, a bit confused. Did she pronounce his name wrong somehow?

“I don’t like that, love bite. Call me something else.”

“Like what?” she asked, narrowing her eyes.

“Something sweet, to keep me excited. You have until the end of today to come up with it, or else…” He pulled her close and whispered in her ear, “You’ll be punished.”

He pulled away and walked to the bathroom, leaving Camila wondering.

“What could be better than his name?” she thought.

    ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

    BRIARWOOD SCHOOL***

Isabella and Brett walked through the school, hand in hand, only to notice people murmuring and staring at them. One burst into laughter as they passed.

“What happened in Briar again?” Isabella wondered aloud.

“Another drama, as usual, but we don’t care. Let’s just go. Feeding into Briar drama will only ruin your mood,” Brett replied, and Isabella nodded in agreement.

Suddenly, she stopped, confusing Brett. He followed her gaze to a poster that took him by surprise.

It was a photo of him and Elijah kissing in the male restroom, with a caption that read: The leader of the cyber boy is gay and is dating the scholarship guy.

“Who posted this edited crap!” Isabella fumed.

“Honey, it’s not edited. Look at the picture and be honest with yourself,” Valeria said, approaching them with a triumphant smile.

Isabella shook her head, refusing to believe.

“Why don’t you ask your boyfriend instead? He hasn’t said anything, and he hasn’t denied it either,” Valeria smiled and walked away.

Isabella slowly turned to Brett. His face was etched with guilt, a look she wished she hadn’t seen. “Tell me this isn’t true,” she murmured, tears welling up in her eyes.

“I… I love you, Isabella,” Brett replied.

“Tell me!!” Isabella screamed this time.

    “Okay, it’s true, but—”

She didn’t give him a chance to explain as her hand connected with his face, slapping him soundly.

“You’re such an asshole, Brett. All of you are such assholes! Oh my God,” Isabella cried painfully.

“Isabella, please,” Brett pleaded, tears streaming down his face, but she stopped him from coming closer.

“I mean, I don’t get it. What is it about me that people mess with? Am I some kind of fetish or something? Every single person I’ve been with uses me for one thing or another. It’s so tiring. I don’t get it,” she cried even harder.

“Please, I really love you, I swear. Yes, I was gay, but that was in the past. It’s you now, I swear,” Brett tried explaining.

“You can’t just be gay and then suddenly fall for a girl who you might dump for a guy later on, Brett. You’re so unbelievable. I trusted you! I ruined my last relationship just for you, Brett!” Isabella gripped her hair painfully, regretting everything.

People were taking pictures, but she didn’t care. She closed her eyes, putting the pieces together. When Brett started talking to her, she was just getting close to Elijah. Then, when she began getting close to Brett, Elijah reappeared, trying to confuse her. Ace had said Elijah was into guys and that she’d regret Brett, meaning he knew even when they were dating, but he never said anything.

“Isabella, please say something,” Brett pleaded.

“All of you… You guys are all messed up,” Isabella shook her head before walking away.

    ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

    RUIZ ROYAL ESTATE**

“Are you going?” Sandra asked Diego, who was frantically searching his desk for some files, barely paying attention to her.

“Are you going to the party? Camila’s father’s birthday,” she asked again.

“What would I want to do there?” Diego responded angrily.

“I mean, you’re Alejandro’s personal assistant. You’re supposed to be with him wherever he goes, especially for events like this,” Sandra replied.

“I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. This is the boss’s wife we’re talking about. I don’t involve myself in his family affairs, so why would I want to go to her father’s birthday party? And do you even think she’d give me an invite?” Diego replied, still searching for the file.

“She’s so mean. She can’t even inform you after everything you’ve done for her,” Sandra rolled her eyes, then looked at Diego, narrowing her eyes.

“What are you looking for?” she asked. Diego didn’t answer at first. “I believe I just asked you a question.”

Diego sighed. “I’m looking for the latest building plan we worked on. It’s part of an important project in the company, and the boss already approved it. If it’s missing, I could lose my job,” he said, looking both frightened and worried.

“Oh,” was all Sandra could mumble. She suddenly became uncomfortable and stood up carefully. “I’ll be going to my office now. I shouldn’t disturb you,” she said and hurried off.

Sandra entered Rafael’s office and confidently dropped a file onto his desk. “This is the latest project Alejandro’s company is working on.”

Rafael glanced at her before picking up the file and flipping through it.

“I’ve done so much for you, but you still haven’t kept your promise,” Sandra said, her voice edged with frustration.

“You want Camila out of Alejandro’s life so you can take her place, right?” Rafael asked, and Sandra nodded.

“Her father’s birthday is in a few days. I can get you the address. Do whatever you need to remove Camila from Alejandro’s life—if you don’t, I’ll handle it myself,” Sandra warned before storming out.

Julian entered, watching Sandra leave. Shaking his head, he turned to Rafael.

“Should I keep an eye on her?” Julian asked.

“Absolutely,” Rafael replied without looking up from the file.

    RUIZ MANSION***

Peter parked the car in the garage. He helped Alejandro with his door, while Alejandro assisted Camila out of her side.

“Call Diego and have him pay you for the month. You’re on a week-long break,” Alejandro instructed.

“Thank you, Boss,” Peter replied, grateful.

Alejandro nodded and led Camila inside the mansion. As usual, they walked through the house, greeted by the maids, before heading to their room.

After dinner, Alejandro sat shirtless on the bed, wearing joggers as he reviewed documents on his laptop. Camila stepped out of the bathroom, her hair slightly damp.

“Hey,” she greeted softly, slipping under the covers and lying down beside him.

“Hey,” he responded, his eyes still focused on the screen. Camila waited patiently, tracing patterns on the bedspread as she admired him.

“You’re watching me again,” Alejandro smirked, still not looking away from his laptop. “What we had in the office wasn’t enough for you, huh? You want more right now, don’t you?”

Camila shook her head, a soft smile playing on her lips.

“I just love watching you work,” she confessed. “But if it’s distracting, I can turn to the other side.” She started to roll over, but Alejandro quickly stopped her, his hand gently gripping her arm.

“I love it when you watch me. It turns me on,” he admitted with a grin. “Makes me work faster so I can have you sooner.”

Camila playfully swatted his arm, but her expression soon grew serious as she continued to observe him. Alejandro paused, sensing the change, and turned to look at her.

“What’s on your mind?” he asked gently.

“Remember when you said you suspected there’s a spy in your company? Someone leaking information to Marcus Global Ventures?” she began. Alejandro slowly closed his laptop, giving her his full attention.

“I saw Sandra earlier, and I’m not sure, but she seemed to be hiding something—like a file from the company. I could be wrong, but I think it’s worth keeping an eye on her,” Camila explained.

Alejandro smiled softly, pulling her closer and pressing a kiss to her temple.

“Thank you for telling me, love bite,” he murmured, planting another kiss on her forehead.

“I’ll always want to help,” she whispered, wrapping her arms around him and resting her head comfortably against his chest. “Are you still working?” she asked after a moment.

“No, I’ll finish up tomorrow,” Alejandro replied, his voice low and soothing.

Camila smiled, snuggling deeper into his chest.

    ••••••••

The sharp sound of her ringtone pulled Camila from sleep. Groaning, she reached for her phone on the nightstand. It was a video call from Lucia.

“Why is she calling so early?” she mumbled before answering the call, her voice groggy.

On the screen, Lucia appeared, her hair a disheveled mess and her expression panicked.

“Camila, I’m moving to New York!” Lucia exclaimed.

“Isn’t that great?” Camila muttered, still half-asleep.

“No!! My mom wants me to get married!!” Lucia wailed.

    Married To The Vengeful Billionaire:

    🔸(His Sweet Torture)🔸

“Welcome back, Mr. and Mrs. Ruiz!”

“It’s wonderful to have you both here again!”

“Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Ruiz!”

The employees of Ruiz Royal Estate greeted Alejandro and Camila as they entered hand-in-hand.

“Boss, welcome back,” Diego said, stepping forward to take Alejandro’s briefcase. “Mrs. Ruiz, it’s lovely to see you again,” he added, turning to Camila before escorting them to the office.

Camila smiled, inhaling deeply, savoring the familiar atmosphere. It had been a while since she was last here, and she realized just how much she missed this place.

“Good news, Boss. While you were in Mexico, we handled most of the business, but there are a few exclusive deals we’d prefer you review yourself,” Diego explained, handing Alejandro a laptop.

Alejandro skimmed through it. “I also noticed we’ve lost some sales to Marcus Ventures,” he murmured, frowning.

    “I’m sorry, Boss,” Diego apologized.

“You don’t owe me an apology, Diego. We just need to work harder and faster. Schedule all the exclusive deals I missed. I’ll make sure to meet them today,” Alejandro ordered. Diego nodded and left to carry out his instructions.

Camila watched Alejandro work, her heart swelling with admiration. He was handsome, passionate about his work, and knew exactly how to treat her. What more could she ask for?

“Keep looking at me like that, and I’ll close the blinds and have you right here on this desk,” Alejandro said suddenly, a playful grin tugging at his lips. Camila quickly averted her gaze, blushing.

Hearing his chuckle, she shyly glanced back at him.

“Can I at least go back to my own office? I don’t have much to do here. If I stay, I’ll just be distracted,” she pleaded.

“And what, exactly, will distract you?” Alejandro asked, finally tearing his eyes from the laptop to look at her.

“You. You’re so handsome, especially when you’re serious about work. I can’t think straight. Please, let me go,” she begged.

“Well, now you’re really making me want to close those blinds,” Alejandro smirked.

“I heard the boss is back—with his wife,” Sandra grumbled as she barged into Diego’s office, her tone dripping with disdain.

Diego sighed and chose to ignore her, focusing on his work. Sandra glanced over the stack of files on his desk.

“You sure have a lot of work to do,” she muttered.

“Yes, and if you’ll excuse me,” Diego said, answering his ringing phone and stepping out of the office.

Sandra quickly rummaged through the files, finding one that contained plans for the company’s newest building project. Smiling to herself, she tucked it under her skirt just as Diego returned.

“And you’re still here because?” Diego asked, raising an eyebrow at her.

Sandra rolled her eyes and brushed past him, only to bump into Camila in the hallway. They both stopped, eyeing each other from head to toe. Sandra noticed an unbuttoned part of Camila’s blouse and sneered internally.

    “What a slut,” she thought.

“What’s that on your skirt?” Camila asked, narrowing her eyes.

“What are you talking about?” Sandra snapped defensively.

Camila reached out, but Sandra slapped her hand away. “I don’t care if you’re married to the boss or if you’re busy fooling around with him in the office while everyone else is working. My business is mine—got that?” she hissed before storming off.

Camila watched her go, shaking her head before continuing on her way.

    BRIARWOOD SCHOOL**

“What do you think of this watch, Isabella?” Brett asked, pulling a wristwatch from his pocket. “I know I can’t afford an original one, but I hope your father will accept this as a birthday gift,” he added, looking hopeful.

Isabella smiled softly. “Anyone can tell it’s fake. I don’t think you want my father’s first impression of you to be you trying to impress him with something like this.”

Brett sighed, slipping the watch back into his pocket.

“Hey,” Isabella gently took his hand. “You don’t have to try so hard. My father doesn’t care about material things. He values thoughtfulness. Just get him something from the heart—or better yet, just show up. That’ll mean more than any gift,” she assured him.

Brett smiled, nodding, and Isabella kissed his cheek before watching him go to his class. As she waved goodbye, she accidentally bumped into Ace.

She tried to walk past him, but he stopped her.

“Your father’s birthday is coming up. I got something for him,” he said, handing her a small box.

“You don’t need to do this, Ace. We’re not together anymore, and I’m seeing someone else,” she reminded him.

“Yeah, I know,” Ace muttered, staring at the box. “But I already bought it, and it’d be a waste. Just take it, and I promise you won’t see me after this.” He gently placed the gift in her hand and walked away.

Isabella looked down at the box, then back at Ace as he retreated.

“I never meant to hurt you, Ace,” she called out.

“I know,” he replied without turning around.

“At least make up with Elijah and get back to your gaming. You’ve got millions of fans waiting for you. Don’t let me—or a breakup—bring you down. It’s not worth it,” Isabella urged.

“We’ll see,” Ace shrugged before disappearing into the crowd.

Isabella sighed, staring at the gift. “I just don’t know what I’m doing.”

    MEXICO – EVENING: LANDON’S RESIDENCE***

“I came home today, Mom. Dad kept calling me,” Lucia said as she entered the house. Her parents and Chandler were already seated at the dining table.

“Wow, no one waited for me,” she scoffed, pulling out a chair. A maid served her food and poured her a drink.

“Thanks,” Lucia mumbled, picking up her cutlery.

“How’s work going for you both?” Mrs. Landon asked, trying to start a conversation.

“It’s fine, Mom. But you and Dad only ever have family dinners when there’s news. So, spill it,” Lucia rolled her eyes, and Chandler nodded in agreement.

Mr. Landon sighed, exchanging a look with his wife before speaking.

“Your mom and I have decided that we’re all moving to New York for a while,” he announced.

“Really?” Lucia’s face lit up. “Is it for Alejandro’s wife’s dad’s birthday?”

Then, Mrs. Landon said something that made Lucia’s fork fall from her hand.

    “What?”

    MARCUS GLOBAL VENTURES***

Sandra strolled into Marcus Global Ventures after leaving Ruiz Royal Estate at the end of the day.

“Hello, ma’am. Welcome to Marcus Global Ventures. How may we assist you?” the receptionist asked politely.

“I’d like to see Mr. Rafael,” Sandra replied, confidently adjusting her posture.

“Do you have an appointment?” the receptionist asked, her smile faltering as she glanced at Sandra with disapproval.

Sandra rolled her eyes. “Just call him. Tell him it’s Sandra Rivera.”

The receptionist sighed but made the call. “Hello, Julian. Please inform Mr. Marcus that someone-

“Sandra Rivera” Sandra cut her off, reminding her.

“Please inform Mr. Marcus that someone- named Sandra Rivera is here to see him.” The receptionist said, twitching her lips.

A few moments later, she hung up. “His office is—”

“I know the way. I’ve been here before,” Sandra interrupted with a smirk, walking off.

“I hate her,” the receptionist mumbled under her breath.

    🔸(His Sweet Torture)🔸

    BRIARWOOD SCHOOL***

    “She’s coming.”

“Did you hear? The Cyber Boys missed a game for the first time in their careers, and I heard it’s because of her.”

Two girls whispered as they walked past Isabella, throwing her dirty looks. Isabella rolled her eyes and headed to her locker. A girl using the locker beside hers slammed it shut and rushed over to another friend.

“Isn’t she the one who caused the fight between Ace and Elijah?”

“I heard she’s a two-timer. She was seeing Ace and Elijah at the same time, and after ruining their friendship, she cheated on Ace with Brett.”

“And she’s not even that pretty!”

Isabella angrily slammed her locker shut, fed up with the constant gossip. “If you’ve got a problem with me, why don’t you say it to my face?” she demanded harshly.

“Let’s go,” the girls muttered, scurrying off.

“That’s what I thought,” Isabella scoffed, letting out a sigh as she heard familiar footsteps approaching. She didn’t need to turn around to know it was Valeria and her former friends.

“You’re pathetic, Isabella. I always knew Ace should have stayed away from you,” Gloria said, shaking her head in disapproval.

“You knew Chappelle liked him for so long, yet you just had to take him to break her heart. What’s that boy’s name again? Oh right, the poor, ugly scholarship boy?” Abby added, her voice dripping with mockery and sarcasm, while Valeria watched, entertained.

“Watch your mouth, Abby!” Isabella snapped angrily.

    “Or what?” Abby retorted.

“Yeah, Isabella. You don’t want to get into a fight on school grounds, do you?” Valeria added, smirking in amusement.

“I’m going to feel really sorry for you, Valeria. When you lose everything, you’ll realize these people aren’t really your friends,” Isabella shot back, rolling her eyes and starting to walk away.

“See, Isabella, that’s the difference between you and me. You’re a loser. Isn’t that why your sister had to marry my brother? To save your broke-ass family?” Valeria called out before Isabella could leave.

Isabella stopped dead in her tracks.

“What did you just say?” she asked, her voice cold.

“Am I wrong? Didn’t your sister marry my brother to save your broke family?” Valeria repeated smugly.

Without warning, Isabella marched toward her and slapped her across the face. The girls gasped. Valeria raised her hand to return the slap, but before she could, someone caught her wrist.

    It was Brett.

“Let go of me!” Valeria protested, trying to pull her hand free, but Brett tightened his grip.

“We get it—you’re pretty. But do you have to show off how empty your brain is too?” Brett said, releasing her hand forcefully.

“The nerve of you to touch me! I’m out of here!” Valeria stormed off, and her entourage followed.

Isabella stood in silence for a moment.

“Are you okay?” Brett asked gently, but Isabella remained quiet. He sighed. “I’m sorry. I should’ve stayed out of it. If I had, none of this would’ve happened.”

Isabella turned to him. “Are you saying you regret confessing your feelings for me?” she asked.

Brett shook his head, looking defensive. “I don’t regret falling for you. I just hate that it’s caused you pain. It was never my intention to make you sad.”

“I’m not sad,” Isabella said with a shrug.

    “You’re not?” Brett asked, surprised.

“I’m not sad,” she repeated. “And I don’t regret anything either. People will always talk, but I’ll do what I want. Ace was a nice guy, but what happened showed me that he didn’t really trust me. I can’t be with someone who doesn’t trust me.”

“So, what are you saying?” Brett asked, his voice soft.

Isabella stepped closer and took his hands. “I’m saying you’re the only guy who’s made me feel valued. When I’m with you, I feel free—like I can be my true self without hiding. It’s like stepping out without makeup,” she admitted.

“Isabella, if you’re trying to tell me something, just say it,” Brett said, squeezing her hands.

“I choose you. Screw everyone else and their opinions. I trust you, and I want you,” she said, and Brett, overwhelmed with emotion, pulled her into a tight embrace.

“Thank you, Isabella. I love you,” he whispered, holding her close.

“I love you too,” Isabella smiled as he pulled away slightly.

“I love you,” Brett said again, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear before leaning in. Isabella smiled and met his lips, and they shared a sweet kiss.

    EVENING: RUIZ MANSION***

Peter parked the car in the mansion’s garage. He stepped out and opened the door for Alejandro and Camila.

“Thank you,” Camila said as she waited for Alejandro. They walked toward the mansion together.

Some maids silently began carrying their luggage inside, while others greeted them.

“Welcome home, Mr. and Mrs. Ruiz,” they said politely.

“Thank you,” Camila replied as they made their way to the bedroom.

“I forgot we use separate rooms,” Camila chuckled when she realized she had walked into Alejandro’s room by mistake.

“It’s okay if you want to stay here tonight. You can sleep here as long as you like,” Alejandro said, unbuttoning his shirt.

Camila moved toward him and hugged him from behind. His hands froze on his shirt buttons.

“Are you okay?” she asked softly.

“Why?” Alejandro responded in a low tone.

“You’ve been moody ever since we returned from Mexico. I’ve been wracking my brain, trying to figure out what I did to upset you, but I just can’t,” she mumbled.

Alejandro sighed, feeling a bit foolish. He turned her to face him, cupping her cheek.

“I didn’t want to come back. I wanted more time with you in Mexico—to stay together, visit the beach, and try out more restaurants. But here, there’s so much work. I just want you to know that you haven’t done anything wrong,” Alejandro reassured her.

“Are you sure?” Camila mumbled again.

“Positive,” he smiled, kissing her forehead. “It was a long flight. You must be hungry. What are you craving?”

“What are you craving?” she replied playfully.

Alejandro’s gaze lingered on her body, assessing her from head to toe. “If I tell you, I’m not sure you can handle it,” he teased.

“Try me,” Camila said, massaging his shoulders flirtatiously.

Alejandro pulled her closer, their bodies pressed together. He leaned in, his warm breath tickling her ear, sending a shiver down her spine.

“I’m craving you right now. I want you naked on my bed. I want to taste every inch of you and make you scream my name. I want to bury myself inside you, over and over, until you’re a trembling mess. I want to make you come so many times you lose control of your body. That’s what I’m craving right now, love bite,” he whispered huskily.

Camila gulped. “I… I should go check what the maids are preparing for dinner. I’m hungry for real food!” she stammered, pushing him away and dashing out of the room like a flash.

Alejandro chuckled, shaking his head as he watched her petite figure disappear.

“Now that’s how to scare your stubborn wife,” he mumbled to himself.

    BRIARWOOD***

Isabella returned to school, her thoughts racing. What had she been thinking, ditching class to support her jerk of a boyfriend?

“Isa!” Brett hurried over, worry etched on his face. “Where have you been? You missed the test!” His voice was filled with concern.

“Oh,” Isabella muttered, sniffing as she looked away. That’s when Brett noticed the faint bruise on her arm.

“What happened to you, Isabella?” he asked, his concern growing deeper.

“It’s nothing,” Isabella shook her head.

“Did Ace do this?” Brett asked, anger rising in his voice.

“It wasn’t Ace,” she quickly defended.

“Then what did Elijah do?” Brett pressed, his jaw clenched.

“Brett, I’m fine. I promise,” Isabella interrupted, trying to brush it off.

“You know you can talk to me, Isabella. We’re friends,” Brett reminded her, his voice softening.

“I’m fine,” Isabella sighed, clearly exhausted.

“You can’t be fine with bruises and tears. If I were with you, I swear I wouldn’t let anyone hurt you or make you cry,” Brett said, his voice filled with emotion, causing Isabella to look at him, stunned.

“If being with him makes you cry, then you should leave that douchebag,” he added bitterly.

“What are you trying to say, Brett?” Isabella blinked in confusion.

“I’m saying that I like you. I know I might be crossing a line, but I think I’m falling for you. Don’t ask me how—it just happened,” Brett confessed, his voice tinged with uncertainty. When Isabella didn’t respond, he sighed heavily.

“I shouldn’t have said that. I know this isn’t what you needed to hear—”

He was cut off when Isabella suddenly stepped forward and pressed her lips against his. She didn’t know why she did it; all she knew was that it felt like she’d been waiting forever to hear him say those words.

“Wow, wow, you couldn’t even wait until we broke up?” Ace’s voice sliced through the moment. He stood behind them, out of breath, looking like he had run all the way to school.

Isabella pulled away from Brett, her heart pounding. She glanced between Ace and Brett, a wave of guilt washing over her. What was she thinking?

“I should have known,” Ace muttered, shaking his head as he began to walk away.

Isabella ran after him. “I’m sorry, Ace! I don’t know why I kissed him!” she shouted, desperation in her voice.

“Really? You didn’t know why you kissed Elijah too?” Ace smirked coldly, glancing back at her.

“I didn’t kiss Elijah!” Isabella protested, frustrated.

“How am I supposed to believe that?” Ace asked, his eyes flashing with anger and hurt.

“I love you, Ace,” Isabella cried, her voice trembling.

“Do you love Brett too?” Ace shot back, his tone laced with bitterness.

“Stop!” Isabella covered her face with her hands, overwhelmed.

Ace chuckled darkly. “I suspected it from the start, but I chose to ignore it because you were the first girl who ever made my heart skip a beat. I just didn’t expect it to hurt this much.” A single tear slipped down his cheek, but he quickly wiped it away.

“Ace,” Isabella whispered, her heart breaking.

“You’re such a sad, pitiful girl, Isabella. And I pity your mental state once you figure out the truth behind all of this,” Ace said before walking away, leaving her standing in the aftermath of his words.

Isabella squeezed her eyes shut, sinking to the floor as tears began to flow freely. How had everything spiraled so out of control? She had once been the queen of Briarwood, and now she found herself trapped between three different guys, unsure of who she even was anymore.

“Poor Isabella,” Valeria’s voice cut through her misery, dripping with mockery. She stood nearby, arms crossed under her chest, leaning against a locker. “This is only the beginning of your mental breakdown.”

    Married To The Vengeful Billionaire:

    🔸(His Sweet Torture)🔸

Elijah wiped the blood dripping from his nose, glaring at Ace. Without hesitation, they lunged at each other, fists flying in a messy brawl.

“What the hell is going on? We’ve got a game show in a few minutes! Cut the crap!” Jeff, along with the rest of the Cyber Boys, rushed to break them apart.

“Your captain is a two-faced snake! He likes boys and girls! I’m warning you, Elijah—stay away from Isabella!” Ace spat, pointing furiously. Alan held him back, making sure he didn’t lose his temper completely.

“That’s enough, Ace. We’ve got a game to win in a few minutes. Go freshen up,” Alan said sternly, dragging Ace away.

Easton tried to calm Elijah, but Elijah angrily shook off his hand and stormed off. Isabella stood frozen, Ace’s accusation about Elijah liking boys spinning in her head. Who could it be, and why was Elijah even involved with her and Valeria?

    ••••

“Ladies and gentlemen, we are live at the Esports Edge! Let’s gear up for the competition starting in less than 30 seconds. First up, let’s welcome Team One—The Cyber Boys!” The host’s voice echoed through the arena, met with thunderous applause and cheers from the audience.

“And now, let’s give a big hand to Team Two—the High Havens!” The crowd erupted as the rival team made their entrance, their supporters cheering just as loudly.

“The High Havens have held the King’s Cup for years, until the Cyber Boys dethroned them. But the Cyber Boys have never lost a game. Will the High Havens reclaim their crown, or will the Cyber Boys prove why they’re called the Kings?” the host asked, sparking an instant debate among the fans.

Meanwhile, on stage, Ace and Elijah locked into a tense staring contest.

“Cut it out!” Jeff whispered urgently.

“If you two keep this up, we’re going to lose!” Easton warned.

    “Agreed,” Alan nodded.

Both Elijah and Ace rolled their eyes, but the game commenced. Everything was going smoothly until Ace refused to team up with Elijah.

“What are you doing, Ace? This isn’t what we practiced!” Jeff shouted, his eyes wide in disbelief.

“I’m not going anywhere near that scumbag,” Ace muttered.

    “Oh God,” Alan groaned.

“The only scumbag here is you,” Elijah shot back.

“Guys, stop it! We’re losing focus!” Easton pleaded.

“If I were a scumbag, I’d be kissing your boyfriend behind your back—like you did to me,” Ace retorted bitterly.

“That’s it!” Elijah’s game character suddenly turned on Ace, unleashing a purple fire attack.

“Oh my God! Did Elijah just attack Ace?” the commentator gasped.

    Ace retaliated immediately.

“Are we watching a game, or are the Cyber Boys battling each other? Specifically Ace and Elijah!” the commentator exclaimed.

“Stop it, both of you!” Alan begged, frantically trying to fend off the opposing team’s attacks. But it wasn’t enough.

In no time, Easton fell, followed by Alan. By the time Jeff was blindsided, it was too late. With a united front, the High Havens overwhelmed Elijah and Ace, sealing their victory.

“Unbelievable! The High Havens have defeated the Cyber Boys! This is the Cyber Boys’ first loss in two years!” the commentator declared.

Ace was the first to storm off stage, with Isabella hot on his heels.

“Ace, wait! Ace!” she called, struggling to keep up as he sped ahead. He only stopped when Isabella tripped, falling hard onto the ground, her arms bruised.

“I don’t have time for this, Isabella. I just lost a match, and I have way too much on my mind,” Ace sighed in frustration.

“When you said Elijah liked boys, who were you talking about?” she asked, her voice trembling.

“If that’s what’s bothering you, ask him yourself. You already kissed him, so what’s stopping you?” Ace replied coldly.

Before he could react, Isabella slapped him across the face. “How could you say something like that?” she cried, tears spilling from her eyes.

    Ace’s face softened. “Isabella, I—”

“Save it. Goodbye!” She cut him off and ran away, leaving Ace fuming. He kicked a nearby object in anger.

    LUCIA DESIGNS***

The car pulled into the company parking lot. Lucia crossed her legs impatiently, waiting. When nothing happened, she turned to George in the front seat.

“Do I really need to tell you to open the door for me?” she asked, raising her eyebrows.

With a tired sigh, George got out and opened the door. Lucia extended her hand to him, which he reluctantly took, helping her out.

“You really lack manners. I’ll have to schedule some time to teach you a thing or two,” she muttered, rolling her eyes as she strode toward the building.

George followed, rolling his eyes. He reminded himself that he was doing this for the money she promised. He could feel the employees’ eyes on them as they walked.

“Who’s the new guy with the boss?”

    “He’s handsome.”

    “Nice muscles too.”

“Is he into guys?” a male worker asked, making the girls giggle.

George picked up his pace, reaching the elevator with Lucia.

“Is this how people act here?” he muttered under his breath.

“Don’t like attention from girls?” Lucia asked with a smirk.

“I prefer to be left alone,” he mumbled again.

“How tragic. I thrive in the spotlight. It’s been a while since anyone’s seen me with a guy. Being seen with me will definitely get you noticed,” Lucia teased as the elevator doors opened.

George rolled his eyes again, silently following her out.

    ALEJANDRO’S PLACE***

Camila slipped on one of Alejandro’s oversized T-shirts, a new morning routine ever since they spent their first night together.

“Good morning,” she greeted as she entered the living room.

“Morning, love bite,” Alejandro responded, walking over with a cup of coffee. He handed it to her, then placed a soft kiss on her forehead.

    “Love bite?” Camila laughed, confused.

“I’ve decided not to call you Camila anymore. ‘Love bite’ suits you better. I can’t get enough of your neck, and I love leaving my mark,” he teased with a grin.

Camila chuckled and sipped her coffee. “This is really good. You’re getting better at this.”

“I’m a man of many talents. As long as it keeps that smile on your face, I’ll keep it up,” Alejandro winked.

“You’re so cheesy,” Camila tried to hide the blush creeping up her face, but it was no use. Her cheeks were as red as ripe tomatoes.

“My father’s birthday is next week. When are we leaving Mexico?” She quickly changed the topic.

“I was just about to tell you. We’re leaving tomorrow,” Alejandro informed her before continuing, “Does your father love paintings? I hired a professional to paint his portrait.”

“My dad loves anything, as long as it comes from the heart,” Camila replied warmly.

“What are you planning to give him?” Alejandro asked with curiosity.

“I’ve been working on something special for him. I should be done before next week,” Camila said with a smile.

“What is it? What have you been working on?” He asked, intrigued.

“A house design,” she revealed proudly. “He’s taught me everything, but I never quite got it right. I’ve spent years learning, and now I’m getting better at it. He’s never seen any of my work before, and I know he’ll be so proud.”

“Can I see it?” Alejandro asked, his interest piqued.

“Sure, I’ll go get my laptop,” Camila nodded and dashed upstairs. She returned a few minutes later, her laptop in hand, and showed him the intricate designs she had created.

“Wow, it’s stunning. You’re truly talented—and beautiful. Your father couldn’t be prouder,” Alejandro said, admiring the design.

“Stop it,” Camila tried, but she couldn’t stop herself from smiling.

“I’m serious. Anyone would be lucky to have you,” he smiled, gently cupping her cheek with his palm.

“Thank you,” she said softly, her heart warming to his words.

“Now, eat up. We have shopping to do for the surprise before we leave,” Alejandro said, pushing a plate of pancakes toward her.

“Thank you, Alejand… Love Bite,” she said, immediately covering her face in embarrassment.

“Why does it sound so much sexier when you say it?” Alejandro teased, a playful grin spreading across his face.

“I think it sounds sexier on you,” Camila scoffed with a smile.

“Oh really?” Alejandro smirked, leaning in closer.

Camila groaned in playful exasperation. “I wanted to ask if I can visit Lucia at her company this evening. This might be the last chance I get to say goodbye, and we’ve sort of become friends.”

“Sure, I’ll leave a car behind for you,” he nodded in agreement.

    🔸(His Sweet Torture)🔸

    NEXT MORNING•••••••

It was exactly 8 a.m. when George arrived at the address Lucia had given him. The gate was larger than the one at his own home, making him hesitate about whether to knock or walk in.

A security guard approached him. “May I help you?”

“My name is George William. Lucia gave me this address and told me to come today,” George explained, though the guard looked skeptical.

“I have her number if you want me to call her,” George said, fumbling for his phone.

“It’s fine. Wait here. I’ll confirm.” The guard disappeared inside and spoke with other security personnel before returning.

“Come with me,” he said, leading George to the front door before leaving him there.

When George opened the door, he was momentarily stunned by the lavish interior. If the gate seemed impressive, the inside of the house was downright breathtaking. The sound of footsteps pulled his attention to the staircase, where Lucia descended, looking stunning in an expensive gown and heels. She wore her signature smirk, the same one that always made him uneasy.

“You actually came. I can’t believe it,” Lucia said with a feigned look of surprise, though there was something in her expression that made it seem rehearsed.

“I don’t have the money to pay you back in three days. I’ll need whatever job you’re offering,” George replied, his voice tired and resigned.

“Well, well, look who’s being a good boy now,” Lucia smirked, her playful demeanor quickly shifting as she cleared her throat and called out, “Jack!”

A man promptly appeared by her side.

“Take him to the dressing room and have him change,” she instructed.

George looked confused. “What am I changing into?” he asked.

“Are you going to question everything I say, or will you just follow Jack and get out of that ridiculous outfit?” Lucia replied, rolling her eyes in irritation.

“Let’s go,” Jack urged, motioning for George to follow.

George gave Lucia one last glance before reluctantly going with Jack. After a few minutes, he returned, now dressed in a black tank top, fitted black jeans, and a pair of sunglasses.

“You forgot your AirPods and walkie-talkie,” Jack said, handing him the items.

George adjusted the glasses and asked, “What exactly am I, Lucia?”

Lucia smiled, circling him slowly like a predator assessing its prey. “It’s Madam Lucia, and you’re my personal bodyguard. All this muscle, and you’ve been hiding it under those sad-looking hoodies?” She shook her head in mock disappointment before reaching into his pocket to grab his phone.

“Give me my phone back,” George said, his voice weary.

“This phone?” Lucia dangled it in front of him, but before he could respond, she smashed it onto the floor.

“Are you out of your mind?!” George gasped, staring at the shattered remains of his phone.

“That’s no way to talk to your boss,” Lucia smirked, clearly enjoying the power she held over him. “Don’t worry, you’ll get a new one by the end of the day. I don’t like my employees using cheap things,” she said with a wink, turning to leave. But after a few steps, she paused and glanced back when she realized he wasn’t following.

“Why are you still standing there? Your job starts now,” she reminded him, raising an eyebrow.

    THE ESPORT EDGE•••

Some gamers are preparing for a gaming competition backstage, including the Cyber Boys. Isabella had just stepped out of the room after talking to Ace when Elijah followed her outside.

“Can you wait just a second, please?” he called, but Isabella kept walking quickly.

“Isabella, please,” Elijah ran after her, grabbing her arm before she could get too far.

“Just hear me out. I know I was a jerk, and I’m really sorry for what I did that day. I know it was sudden, but that’s genuinely how I feel,” Elijah sighed, his expression earnest. The look in his eyes suggested he might actually be telling the truth, but Isabella knew better.

“You’re such an idiot, Elijah. You had your chances with me, and you messed up. Now, when I’m with someone else—not just anyone, but your friend—you suddenly want me back?” Isabella gave him a disgusted look.

“If Ace were really my friend, he wouldn’t have started seeing you. He broke the bro code first,” Elijah retorted without a hint of remorse.

Isabella rolled her eyes and tried to walk away, but Elijah pulled her back, forcing his lips onto hers.

At that moment, Ace stepped out, his face contorted with confusion and growing anger.

“What the hell is going on here?” Ace demanded, his voice low and menacing.

“It’s not what it looks like. Elijah—” Isabella started, but before she could explain, Ace’s fist collided with Elijah’s face.

“You lying bastard! Being gay wasn’t enough for you—now you’re trying to steal my girl too?” Ace roared, throwing another punch at Elijah.
