At the back of the envelope, there was a phone number. He dialed the number and called it immediately.

After several rings, the person finally picked the call.

Edna wanted to step back but her desk was there so she ended up sitting ontop of it. Miguel took the remaining space and caged her tightly with his strong arms on the desk.

Edna stared at his arms, they were muscular and she wondered why a poor guy would have this much muscle. Her gaze moved to his face and her heart skipped a little beat, he was too close.

“You’re crossing the line Miguel, I’m your boss and I will fire you!” Edna gritted her teeth.

“Then go ahead and do that, fire me!” He smirked before leaning closer and bringing his lips to her ears.

“I dare you” he whispered and Edna’s heart skipped another beat, she blinked repeatedly to calm herself down.

“Why do you plan on going out with Zach?” He moved back when he asked and she looked at him.

He smirked and answered his own question. “Is it to just make Regina feel like a loser or is it because you really want to?”

Edna shook her head, she didn’t know how to reply to him.

“I’ll say this again Miguel, I’m your boss and the next time you try to mess with me,I will fire you, I swear!!” She glared at him before stepping down from the desk and leaving the office.

He just came back from work, he used his password to open the door and entered his apartment.

“That’s trash! I told you it’s just a stupid password, if it makes you feel better, I can put your name in” he frowned at her trying his best not to yell back.

“I don’t care about the password,I just want to make sure you have no feelings left for Edna and you are not dating me because you want to make her jealous” she gave him a hard look as she spoke.

“I’m not,” he muttered.

“Then how can I make you believe me?” He asked.

Regina moved closer to him, she stopped just a few inches away from him, looking at him with her chin up.

Her hands slowly went to her coat and she began unbuttoning it while keeping eye contact with him till it fell off her body.

His phone kept ringing consistently when he was trying to sleep. When he felt that he couldn’t escape, he decided to pick the call.

“Is this Miguel Torres?” A family voice sounded and Miguel immediately sat up from his head.

He looked at the caller’s ID and his eyes widened.

“Yes I’m Miguel Torres” he replied immediately.

“I was supposed to email it to you but I remembered you didn’t have an email and I kinda lost your contact but to cut everything short, you’re hired and you’re to be in the company by nine” Zita said from the other end.

“Thank you for giving me a chance, I’m on my way now” Miguel happily hung up, the first thing he did was to rush to the bathroom to freshen up.

Since it was his first day of working in a big company, he decided to change his style of dressing into something a little formal.

He was going with a short hand button shirt and a male pine trouser.

“Dad, I finally got a job,” he announced to the man making breakfast in the kitchen.

“That’s great news and I was making your favorite..”

“I’m rushing off to work dad, I can’t eat this morning bye!!”

Before Johnathan could say anything or make any reaction, Miguel already left and he couldn’t help but to shake his head.
