Nancy pulled out her head from the W.C and Jasmine began coughing out the water she swallowed..

Nancy dipped back her face inside the WC and Jasmine kept struggling, trying to scream but more water penetrated her mouth, eyes and nostrils.

“It’s nothing get out of here. It’s the girl’s restroom” Poppy said but Theodore just pushed her out of the way

“Are you cràzy!!” He pushed Nancy away, pulling Jasmine closer to him.

“Duh!! I’m on scholarship too but trust me if some sick dude looks for my troubles, I’ll give him double of what he was looking for” Theodore said and brought his towel down when her hair was dry.

He brought out the top of his sportswear and handed it to her.

“Here, your shirt is pretty wet so this will do since you love wearing baggy stuffs. Hey!, I’m not giving it to you okay? You bring it back tomorrow” Theodore said and Jasmine chuckled then nodded.

He removed her huge lenses which also got wet.

“I don’t know why you wear this stuff. You’re cuter without it” Theodore said, staring at the lenses.

“Anyways, I’ll be outside so you can change. There’s no guy here so you’re safe. Feel free to call me if you want me help you hook your bra well” Theodore winked as he left.

Nathaniel opened the door and peeked in then smiled when he saw who he was looking for.

“Ari..” He called, coming in fully.

She was seen reading her books.

“What’s up with the reading? You’ve been reading since morning” Nathaniel asked, pulling a chair to sit closer to her.

“I.. I want to do more better on my next exam” Arianna said.

“Okay.. Since tomorrow is Saturday and I’m your partner, I was wondering on where should we meet to work on our project” Nathaniel asked.

“Should I come over to your house or?”

“No! Let’s do it at your place” Arianna quickly said.

“Okay.. My mom will be working so we’ll do it without being disturb or something like that” Nathaniel smiled.

Arianna blinked, looking at him weirdly. Nathaniel blinked, looking at her too.

He blushed when he realized what he just said.

“Oh no no no!! I mean do our project not some other kind of do.. Like my mom always goes to work in the day so no one will disturb us from doing our project.. I wasn’t saying..gosh!” Nathaniel face slapped himself and Arianna couldn’t help but chuckle.

She continued reading her book.

“What’s bothering you or should I ask who hurt you?” Nathaniel suddenly asked after a moment of silence.

“Huh?” Arianna quickly looked up at him. Is he now some sort of mind reader??

“You’ve been like this since morning. Actually, yesterday was the only day I saw you smile purely and genuinely but today you went back to the forced smile you always have. Who hurt you?” He asked again.

Arianna just stare at him in surprise. She quickly comported herself and looked down.

“It’s nothing.. I’m just not in my mood today” Arianna said which was an obvious lie to Nathaniel.

“Are you sure?” He asked and she nodded.

“You should leave, I.. I want to focus on what I’m reading” Arianna said, her mood completely down.

“Are you sure-”

“I said leave Nathan!! Leave just let me be!!” Arianna shouted this time as tears finally escaped her eyes.

“Arianna..”

“I’m used to being hurt,, this one won’t matter!!” Arianna began sobbing loudly

Nathaniel just stared at her and when he didn’t know what to do, he shifted his chair closer to her and pulled her in for a hug.

Arianna slowly hugged him.

“You know sometimes, I wished I was born poor. At least if I didn’t have the money, I will have love and care.. All my whole life, I’ve spent it trying to be the son my father have never had and my mom she’s not helping matters at all. All what my father says and does is good for her!! I always make sure I do my best to be at the top in everything I do but it’s not just enough for my father.. I’m tired” Arianna cried.

“Sorry” Nathaniel rubbed her shoulder.

“If one day you hear I’m déad just know that I’m tired and-”

“Hey! Don’t say that.. Please” Nathaniel said and broke the hug.

“Life is a precious gift which many wish to have.. Many are suffering from incurable disease, some díe in unexpected accident but you,, you’re alive and healthy and that’s something you should be grateful for” Nathaniel said.

“But what’s the use of being alive if I can’t know what it feel to know that your family loves and cares about you..” Arianna asked while sniffing

“I grew up without a father.. I don’t even know who my father is, whether he’s déad or alive. When I was younger I still remember being mocked upon because on every occasion, I see my classmates with their father but I didn’t have one.. It hurts a lot but you know what, I accepted it.. I accepted it and acknowledged and now I’m happy with what I have” Nathaniel said, cleaning her tears slowly.

“If you can’t find the happiness you seek for? Why not create your own happiness?” Nathaniel said.

Lance got down the car and rushed to open the door for Linda who got down. She began looking around the area.

“What are we doing at a hill top at this time of the night? Thought you said a date?” Linda asked gazing up at the stars

Can’t believe our dream finally came true.” Lance said while smiling.

“Wow…that’s really great. As for me, I don’t really know what I want to do with my life..” Linda said and Lance couldn’t help but laugh.

“Seriously? Next year you’ll be a college student and you don’t know?” Lance laughed.

“Well yeah, unlike you who grew up in a rich family.. I didn’t. I can’t dream more higher than my shadow” Linda said.

“Well when I was young, I dreamt of being an actress” Linda said.

“Let’s eat” Lance said and opened their meal.

The delicious scent of chicken filled Linda’s nostrils and she began drooling.

“If you can make it beat then.. I’ll think about it” Linda said and took another bite of the chicken.

“I’ll see to that” Lance said and continued starring at her.

“Looks like I should audition in being a portrait. You’re staring at me too much” Linda said

Lance ignored what she said and brought his thumb to her lips when he saw oil on her lips. Immediately his thumb came into contact with her lips, she froze.

Lance wiped off the oil and couldn’t help but stare at them. He found himself slowly leaning in.

Linda stared at him as he brought his face closer and closer till there was just few centimeters distance for them to meet.

“Um.” Linda suddenly cleared her throat and Lance came back to his sense.

He released her face and pulled away.

“Eat up.. We still have to go watch a movie” Lance said.

“Really?” Linda said excitedly and continued eating.

Note should be taken that this work will be taken as part of your upcoming test so you need to take it seriously” The teacher said and the student began murmuring.

“So here are the pairing.” The teacher said and brought out a paper

And it went on till everyone were paired.

“I can’t do anything unless you want to switch partners with someone but if the person isn’t willing then you stick to your current partner” The teacher said

Nancy looked at Jasmine who fearfully looked away.

“I want to switch with Jasmine” Nancy said.

“Jasmine do you agree?” The teacher asked

Jasmine bit her lips and looked at Travis then at Nancy who was giving her a hard glare.

Theodore held her hand and she looked at him and as if she understood what his eyes was saying, she nodded to Theodore and turned to Nancy.

“I don’t want to. I’m fine with my current partner” Jasmine said and Nancy gasped.

“Since Jasmine doesn’t want to then you stick to your partner” The teacher said.

“Anyone else who wants to switch partners?” The teacher asked.

Gianna badly wanted to but she knows Arianna won’t accept because if she does, Arianna will end up with Amber and it’s a total no.

Gianna just glared at Arianna and kept quiet.

“Since everything is okay then fine! You guys are to submit your work on Monday so I give you guys the weekend to work on it” she said and began her lesson.

The class ended after an hour and everybody began leaving for the cafeteria to have their lunch.

“I’m so hungry!!” Linda pouted, rubbing her tummy.

Amber knowingly hit Arianna’s shoulder as she walked to the cafeteria.

“Looks like this b*tch needs me to redesign her face again” Linda said.

“Just let her be” Arianna sighed as they settled down on an empty table.

“Where’s Gianna and Jasmine?” Arianna asked when she didn’t see her with them

“Jasmine went to use the restroom and Gianna says she isn’t hungry” Linda said.

She looked at where Travis was and could see the way he was looking at Arianna and Nathaniel. She sighed sadly.

Gianna glared at Arianna and Nathaniel who were having fun in the water.

“Gianna-” Before Linda could speak, she stormed out of the hall..

“Wassup s*xy?” Lance walked towards her.

Beatrice was busy supervising the dinner.

“Best? Best? How come your best is so pathetic!!” Reuben said and landed another slap on her cheek.

Her cheeks were already swollen due to the slaps she kept receiving and her lips got bursted due to the slaps

“What will the public think of me when they’ll hear my daughter was defeated by a commoner!! Huh? Are you planning to ruin my reputation!!” Reuben shouted.

“I’m sorry dad… I’m sorry” Arianna cried.

“Stop crying.. It just irritates me more!!” He shouted and landed another slap on her cheek before pushing her.

Arianna fell on the floor in the process..

“A failure… That’s what you are” He said coldly and left the room, slamming the door loudly.

Arianna curled herself up, where she was laying as she continued crying..

“They started it!!” Arianna finally spoke, glaring at Julia.

Principal Melissa looked at Linda, waiting for her to speak.

Linda blinked severally.

“I was just there to fight” She shrugged.

“Okay.. But I can’t guarantee you total change, I’m still working on my temper and vengeful side” Arianna said.

“Okay.. But if you dare hurt one of my friends, I’m gonna give you a swollen cheek or a black eye” Linda said and Arianna nodded

“No qualms.. let’s go to class. We’ll get your bruises treated later” Linda said and they continued their way.

Cole just nodded and Lance came to rub Cole’s shoulder already knowing where he was heading to.

“Let’s go in.. This will be the place we’ll train you, don’t worry we spoke to our superior and they gladly accepted so you’re more like a trainee now” Nathaniel said as they walked in.

“So, Dean said you write songs and you also have a great voice. Lately, our group is in need of a fourth members who can write songs.. So this is it, we wanted to ask if you’ll like to be our fourth member” Lance asked.

Nathaniel’s eyes bulged out. Did he hear it right? Are they asking him to be their fourth member?!

“Huh..” Was all Nathaniel could say.

“Listen dude, we ain’t forcing you okay? You can think about it for some-”

“Seriously!? That’s like my monthly saving” Nathaniel said.

“So is it okay with you?” Lance asked and Nathaniel nodded happily.

His joy knew no limits right now.. It was an opportunity for him to achieve his dream! To make his mother proud!

“Thanks so much for choosing me. I promise I’ll work hard and I won’t let you down” Nathaniel said.

“I trust you on that. Now I understand why Dean likes you so much, you’re a really cool guy. I noticed you always stare at Arianna so tell me,, is it what I’m thinking” Lance leaned towards him.

Nathaniel looked away and nodded shyly..

“Wow! I can tell you on how you can impress her.” Lance said and stood up.

“First of all, most girls like guys who are cool and know how to seduce them.. They like men who are always in charge” Lance said.

“Well that’s what I’m still to find but if he isn’t we can train him.. When we embarked on our music career we were definitely far from perfect.. I can still remember Lance fainting due to stage fright during our first concert” Dean laughed and Cole chuckled while Lance scoffed..

“So we can train him for like a month or two and when he’s ready we can talk to our company” Dean said.

“I’ll be his rap teacher then” Lance said

“Then I guess I’m his dance teacher” Cole muttered.

“And I’ll take care of how he should act on stage” Dean said.

“I’ll ask him after school and if he’s interested then we can start the tutorial after our upcoming exams” Dean said and continued pressing his laptop

“So the girls! Move to the field and get ready!! While the boys should move to the bench, you’re free to cheer the team you support” The coach said and blew the whistle.

The girls were paired into two. On one team was Linda, Arianna, Gianna, Jasmine and other girls while on the other was Nancy, Amber, Julia, Poppy and other girls..

Arianna was the captain of one team while Nancy was the captain of the other.

The coach blew the whistle and threw the ball up and the game kicked off.

“Yeah!! Go girls!!” Dean cheered..

Gianna was the one having the ball. She dribbled it and passed it to Linda.

Julia came to her and tried taking the ball from her but she skillfully dodged it and passed the ball to Jasmine who immediately jumped and threw the ball in the net, scoring them their first three points.

Those who were supporting her team began cheering for her as the game continued.

Cole wasn’t even concentrated in seeing who was winning or loosing. His gaze was focused on one person and that’s Linda

The way she passed the opponent and scored, the way her hair which was tied in a pony tail kept dancing behind her as she scored and when she jumped how her her top will slightly lift, exposing her s*xy navel and tummy.

He shook his eyes and looked to his side to meet Lance was staring at her too while smiling.

“Go Linda!!” Nathaniel cheered, clapping for them while Theodore’s shirt was off his body as he waved it up, cheering for them.

Linda got the ball and began going to score again but Amber was coming to block her. She smirked and threw the ball at Amber’s face really hard.

The ball took Amber’s face and she fell down flat, her face was so red as she became momentarily blind

“Oops.. What an accident.” Linda smiled

“F**k” Lance and Theodore burst out in laughter.

The coach blew the whistle.

“Penalty… A free shoot for Nancy’s team” She said and the ball was handed to Poppy.

Amber was taken away and another replaced her.

Poppy threw the ball to the net but missed it..

“No!!” She stomped her foot on the ground like kid

The game continued again for some minutes.. Remaining few minutes for it to end.

“Yes Gianna!!” Nathaniel cheered when Gianna got the ball..

She was dribbling towards the opponent’s net to score but Nancy blocked her way and tried taking the ball from her.

On her right was Arianna.

“Pass me the ball!!” Arianna screamed, waving her hands up in the air.

She looked at Nathaniel who was chanting for her and shot Arianna a glare and tried to score from where she was standing but Nancy took the ball from her.

Nancy immediately scored and the game ended..

The score was 93-90, in favor of Arianna’s team..

“What’s wrong? If you passed me the ball, we could have scored another goal.. And what’s up with the look you gave me earlier” Arianna said, coming towards her.

“Oh please “captain”. We still won don’t make that a big deal… You just wanted to show off, always begging for his attention as usual” Gianna rolled her eyes.

Arianna wasted no time in slapping her and Gianna immediately returned the slap. In no time, they began fighting.

Arianna got on top Gianna, slapping her while pulling her hair. Gianna pushed her and got on top of her, béating her too.

“This is not good..” Theodore muttered and stood.

Nathaniel ran to the field, together with Theodore while Linda and Julia were trying to separate the fight.

They got there and Nathaniel pulled Arianna off while Theodore held Gianna.

“Stop this thing you two!!” Theodore said loudly.

“Are you okay?” Nathaniel cupped Arianna’s cheek.

She quickly slapped his hands off in anger.

“Warn this your friend here that I don’t take sh*ts from anyone and she’ll definitely regret it.. Mark my words” Arianna glared at Gianna before leaving

Nathaniel stood there, looking at Gianna before looking at Arianna retreating figure.
