I finally opened my eyes just to see a doctor standing staring at me.
“ where am I sir?” I ask though my head aches a lot
“you are in the hospital” doctor said “you fainted due to the brutal torture”
“my head aches” I said looking at him
“ you have to rest” doctor says “ your family members are outside I will tell them to come in”
“ okay” I replied and laid down on the bed
I will say almost all the family members of Abuja came to check up on me. Ami according to them came immediately she heard I was in the hospital. It was prakash that brought me to the hospital.

“ how is your health?” Ami asked looking at me with so much care and love in her eyes. You will even think we are lovers. We relate like brothers and sisters, play like friends and… like husband and wife.
“I am doing great” I replied looking weak.

“ why didn’t you fight’ Sania asked looking angry
“I don’t want any troubles” I said in a faint voice
“ stop with the question” Aunty Aditi reacted “ don’t you know he is weak and need rest” turn to me “ rest my son, the doctor said you will be discharged by tomorrow.

Shit Why didn’t he die from the beating. I hate that Nigerian boy. I want him to just die or get deported but anytime I want him to commit the mistake he always overcome it. They will think he was foolish not reacting but in tact he is very wise. I just hate that boy with passion and I will stop at nothing to make sure he goes back to Nigeria disgraced and also be deported. I want to ruin his career. But what should I do.

I have connived with Ansh and his gang but they seem not capable. He told me he hate Raymond but he is doing nothing about it. Hmmm he doesn’t know I am more wicked than a devil. I love Raymond so much but he sees me as sister. Why is he suffering for a girl that doesn’t love her. He is a good boy with great ambitions. I have always wanted to marry a doctor and god has given it to me on a platter of gold, I won’t loss it for anyone that’s a promise. I am ready to risk my life to protect him from any and every harm. I place my hand on this fire so seal my vows.

The next day I was discharged from the hospital and taken back home by Aunty Aditi. When we got home they welcomed me with an open arms especially prakash he was like telling me sorry for not being able to defend me and I see in him that he wanted to really defend me he is a brother indeed I love him for that. I hugged him as a brother. For Sania since I helped her out she has been a good person to me. I won’t fail to appreciate Ami for her endless Love and care for me. This family is the best and am lucky to be part of it.

I was taken to my room. It was well arranged, all I had to do is to make sure i get enough rest. That wasn’t my idea but aunty Aditi’s. Elder Ahuja that’s what I called him love me so much because of my honesty and I think this caused a refit between me and Dev. While I laid on the bed Ami walked in to keep me company.
“hi” Ami said
“hi” I replied

“ how are you feeling” she ask touching my head
“ I’m okay” I replied
“I know it hurt” she said touching my head and my chest, rolling her finger down to my stomach “ why are they wicked what did you do to them, don’t they know that I love you so much”
“what did you say” I cut it immediately
“nothing serious” she said smiling “I am only joking”
In my mind I was like this girl is serious about it but as she said it was a joke no wahala. But she look so serious.

“ okay I will be going get some rest now” she said and walked out of my room.

Shortly after Ami left Aunty Aditi came in with a cup of coffee for me which she dropped beside my bed and went out saying drink up. Thank God it was Saturday. I had to rest very well. I slept till 4:00pm in the night. Though it was a long rest but it is worth it.

When I woke up I saw drugs with their prescription and their type of food on my bed I manage to eat the food I had no choice and then took my drugs. Before going downstairs to meet them.

When I went downstairs they were eating on the dinning table. Prakash rush to me and offered to take me for strolling which I quickly assented to.
“ be careful” aunty Aditi said
“ we will” I replied
“ yes we will” prakash uttered like a villain in a movie.

India is a wonderful place to be I explored different places and saw different things. It was a wonderful experience to be in India. Prakash is a good person. He is indeed a brother for taking Me out showing me different place I did not know it India. I even took selfies. God! it was wonderful.
While we stopped to get some ice cream my mom called.

“ I will go get the ice cream just discuss with your mom for the last time” prakash said
“last time as in” I asked
“ I mean to say for the first time” he said looking confuse “ I was kidding with you”
“ okay no wahala just go get it” I said. I know he did not get that part I said no wahala but still went on to get the ice cream
U picked up my mom call as she called me the third time.

“ hello mommy” I said
“hi my son” she replied
“mom I miss u” I said
“ and you did not even call me” she replied “ I had a bad sign this morning, that’s why I called to know how you are fairing. I miss u you so much. My beloved son how are you doing over there. I know some people will hate you but love all. My God will protect you, everything will be well….” While she was speaking I can feel you was crying then my dad took over immediately from her.

“ my son you know your mom is too emotional” he said
“ I know” I replied “but tell her amen to all her prayers for me. Tell her I will be careful”.
“ I will tell her” he said “please look the sun don’t let the beautiful stars to distract you”
I wanted to get a clear explanation on that proverb but no credit to call back maybe I will call them tomorrow.
Prakash came back with the ice cream then we went home together.
