“Arike, we will abõrt this baby”

Kelvin said while pacing around the one room apartment with a single bed, small table and chair with a lot of books on it and also a piano set sitting pretty at one corner of the room.
I sat on the bed, looking perplexed. Oh! I am prēgnant again for Kelvin, few weeks after beginning of the new session.
“Abort what Kelvin?”
I said with almost a loud scream and a wide eyes
“This is going to be our third baby I will be taking out”
“Are you ready to be a mom?
“But I warned you! I told you to use cõndom”

I smiled when he said that. I looked at him with anger and at the same time I could tell his frustration. He has a lot he is handling as a student.
Even though, Kelvin is a student, he is the breadwinner of his family and that enough is choking him.

“Babe, please let’s take this baby out and we will talk on how we will abstain from sex till we are ready for marriage”
I sighed and look into his red eyes. He stared at me too searching for an answer. I kept a straight face and that frùstrated him more, I know I am still a student. My parents are not poor but we are not rich. I supported Kelvin with the little money sent to me from home and that was even why he proposed we cohabitate so that we can help ourselves with foodstuffs, accommodation and other things.
I have an apartment but I hardly go there. I only go there when my parents want to visit me and my roommate then is very secretive even though we were not so close
He paid for the accommodation and buying of handouts and materials while I take care of foodstuffs and weekly stews and soups.
Kelvin and I have been living together since 200level second semester and we are both studying five years course. We have just a year to round up school and I have done 3 abōrtions within this time frame for Kelvin.
“What if I die doing this abõrtion”
“Arike, this is not the first time. We will use our hospital”

“I am scared” I said with tears flowing freely from my eyes. He moved closer to me, hold me so tight and kissed me passionately. He wiped my tears and kissed me again in which I return and before you know it, we have sêx again and again and again.
