A bullet from Hailey’s gun penetrated the guy’s head and he crumpled dead on Cyrus body.
“Fuck!” He cursed under his breath – his face got stained by the dead guys blood.
A still silent overwhelmed the others including Jerry himself.
“No one dares joke with me” Hailey said so cold.
“Now back to you” she fixed her eyes on Jane.
“I wonder what would happen if I just kill you instantly with just a bullet” she smirked evilly.
Jerry was loving the moment.
Hailey pointed her gun at Cyrus and his eyes widened.
“No, don’t. Please” says Trembling Lucian.
“Him or her” She said. Her gun pointing at Cyrus then Jane.
It’s a hard and tough choice here to make. His best friend over his sister. Who will it be?
“Only one is to stay alive” Hailey said in cold stare.
“Your best friend or… your own sister?” She riverted her cold eyes at Lucian who was deeply speechless.
“Kill me instead” Lucian inquired and she chuckled mockingly.
“Kill you?” She laughed. “Who said anything about not killing you?” She added. “As a matter of fact, after I kill one of them… you die next” Lucian’s eyes widened.
Just immediately a phone call interrupted her – it was Lucian’s phone ringing and the caller ID reads – Hope.
She scoffed and picked up the phone.
“Your Hope is calling” she smirked. “And you’re going to say whatever I ask you to say” She instructed him before answering the call.
“Hey bitch!” She said. “Lucian is in my custody now and he wants to say something to you before he dies” Hailey said further then hands the phone over to him.
He puts the phone on his ear.
“Lucian?” She called in the point of crying and he could hear it in her voice.
“I’m sorry Hope…”
Jerry slapped him with the gun before he could complete his statement and he grunted in pain as he spits out blood.
“Lucian!” Hope cried out, knowing he was been beaten.
Hope could hear him cough through the phone.
“I hate you Hope, say after me” Hailey muttered but he was persistent.
“I love you Hope” he said and Jerry hits him hard to the face – he coughed and spits out blood in a pained grunt.
“Please stop!” Jane sobs.
“Stop it, Hailey!” Cyrus yelled but got hit by one of the guys who pinned him down.
“Cause him pain!” Hailey ordered Jerry and he obeyed.
Hailey left the phone on speaker so Hope could hear him been beaten.
Jerry kept kicking him in the belly and face making him bleed from both his mouth and nose.
“Please stop! Hailey stop!” Hope couldn’t stand hearing him groan and grunt in pain.
Jerry took him by the jacket and hits his back hard to the wall – releasing several hard fist on his face. With each blow, Jane cried and Hope pleads while Hailey smiled in satisfaction.
Lucian gasped as he was flinged to the other side of the wall – his face swollen and his body covered in dirt and dust.
Immediately, the police kicked the doors opened…
“Put your hands in the air” the police chorus. Their guns pointing at Hailey and the others.
Hailey paused for a while and turned boldly only to see the large number of the cops.
“Well played, Lucian” She muttered and Lucian coughed in deep pain.
She raised the bomb controller remote with her thumbs on the red button.
“It’s a bomb!” One of the cops yelled and before Hailey could push the button, Cyrus Jumped on her and the remote fell to the ground – it clattered and rolled it way to the cops.
Cyrus rolled of her body and was bleeding – Hailey plunged a knife into his belly when he jumped on her.
“Call 911” one of the cops said and the process was taken.
Cyrus and Lucian was rushed to the hospital and Jane was untied.
Hailey and the others were handcuffed and arrested for what they did.

At The Hospital~
Lucian finally regained his conciseness.
Opening his eyes, the first person he saw was Hope.
He smiled and his fingers caressed her cheeks.
“He’s awake” Hope said and he turned to see his loved ones – Harlan, Jeffrey,his mom, dad and mostly Jane.
“I thought I’d lost you” Hope said softly and he chuckled softly.
“Guess, you thought wrongly”
“Did you know you almost gave us an heart attack?” Mrs Aurora said and they all laughed.
“I’m sorry mom. At least i did it for her” he said and immediately he remembered someone.
“Where’s Cyrus?” He suddenly asked and they all frowned. He glanced at their faces and was wondering why they suddenly frowned.
“Hope? What’s wrong? Where’s he?” He asked her and she glanced at the faces of his friends and relative.
“Hope?”
“He was stabbed last night after he jumped on Hailey when she tried pushing the button”
“So? What happened next? He’s okay right?” He asked all at once and Jane shake her head as her eyes welled up in tears.
“He couldn’t make it” she pressed and Lucian chuckled mockingly.
“Tell me this is all some kind of a joke?” He scoffed.
“It’s not” Hope muttered and he looked at her.
