Samantha left Bruce’s house feeling really indignant and all shades of furious. The Bruce she knew, would have at least politely asked her to leave, but he chose to insûlt her the way he did, and even ignored her, when she was double sure he was hearing the doorbell.
She pulled out her phone as she sat in her car, to call Drake. Her call connected almost immediately, and she asked if he was home.
“Yes Samantha, I’m home right now. Is everything okay? You don’t sound okay at all” Drake asked Samantha concernedly.
“I can’t talk right now Drake, I’ll be in your house shortly” she said into the phone, and hung up.
She turned on the ignition of the car to drive out, but the tears in her eyes were making her sight too blurred to be able to drive out.
So she sat for a while, letting the tears fall as much as they wanted, as she thought of how things used to be between her and Bruce.
By the time she was able to collect herself again, and stepped on the pedals to leave Bruce’s house, she was already having a terrible headache.
“Come inside” Drake ushered her in when he answered his door, and found her looking so pitiable there, her head hanging so lowly.
“I can’t believe he left me for that! Have you seen the girl?” she asked Drake, tears falling endlessly.
“Erm Samantha, I don’t know but I thought we have gone past this?
“You already knew that he found someone, and the last time we spoke, I told you he almost got married to the girl, before some stuffs happened.
“Why does it feel like you’re suddenly remembering that he left you for someone else?” Drake asked her honestly.
“Yeah, I should be past him now, but Drake, do you know how it feels to realize that the man you love and hold to high esteem, left you for something lower and incomparable?
“I have been trying to get over Bruce all these while, but do you know how badly it hurts to see that Bruce didn’t leave me because he found someone better, but because he saw a girl that clearly bewitchèd him?” Samantha asked Drake.
“Samantha, I’m going to be honest with you, I am not particularly happy with the choice my friend has made, in that girl, but I wouldn’t say she bewitchèd him” Drake said, walking over to his seat.
“Then you have clearly not seen that girl. What’s in that girl to interest any man? I just got back from his house,where I went to, with the hopes of making him take me back, since you said his marriage attempts ended the way it did, that day.
“Only to meet him so unable to use his senses again. He was literally forgetting to breath in her presence.
“Believe me Drake, those village girls aren’t to be taken lightly. She has used voôdoo on my man, and he doesn’t know what he is doing again.
“Bruce is completely delûsional now, and outrightly out of his mind. Drake, your friend even thinks that he is now married to her.
“He doesn’t recall that the marriage was halted, when her marine spirits counterparts disrupted everything.
“Please Drake, you’re the only one that can speak to Bruce. Help me save him. Speak to him to go for deliverance in any of these churches, at least to get him back to his senses” Samantha cried.
“Wait Samantha, since when did you start believing in God and church?” Drake asked her amusedly.
“Oh come off it Drake. You damn well know that I’m in a tight corner right now. Despêrate situations calls for despêrate measures.
“I just want him back to his senses, to realize that she shouldn’t, she can’t, and she will never be his wife.
“Even if he doesn’t take me back, I’ll feel better to see him with someone worthwhile, than that piece of shît” Samantha spat.
“Sorry to burst your bubble Samantha, he already married her, so she is his wife.
“And as for helping to make him come back to his senses, I don’t know what we are going to do, because I have already talked so much.
“He seems to entrapped by her natural endowment. I don’t know how he got neck deep in that kind of shìt, though” Drake said, truly worried for his friend.
“Did you just say endowment? Drake did you just say natural?
“Oh my heavens, are you by chance saying she looks better than me? Is that how it’ll look in people’s eyes?
“That a bush girl took my man because she is beautiful? Jeez!” Samantha shrieked.
“You got it wrong Samantha, that’s not what I meant. I was just saying that behind the big clothes and clumsy look, the girl has a natural kind of unharnessed beauty.
”But my point is, I don’t know how Bruce of all people got himself so deep in the pudding, that he doesn’t seem ready to pull out, any time soon or even in this lifetime” Drake said.
“Damn it! This is even worse than I thought it was. So even you Drake, you think that bush fowl is beautiful?
“What do men really want? So, a man has this, and this, and chooses to go for the piece of bones and flesh in rags because of what again?” she asked, cupping her bōõbs that were almost falling out of her small top, and her big buttôcks, as he spoke.
She looked very upset to hear what Drake had to say, and, her annoyance seemed to make her tears begin to flow again.
Drake looked away in embà rrassment when he saw her hold her bōõbs and buttôcks, the way she did, and Samantha let out a painful laughter.
“Oh I see! Now, I get it Drake. You think my bōõbs aren’t natural, right?” she asked
“What are you talking about?” Drake stuttered, getting more uncomfortable with the way Samantha was acting and speaking that night.
Patricia his girlfriend had always complained about Samantha’s dress sense, and about how she liked to show way too much.
There had been times he argued with her about her being too antagonistîc towards Samantha.
“Cut her some slacks darling! You are very modest when it comes to choice of clothes, and even though you seem to cover way too much, I love you like that because you thrill me in ways I can’t do without.
“I believe that’s how my friend must feel about her too. So, at the end of the day, it’s about what her man wants, and what they’re cool with“ he had told Patricia that day.
He was speechless, when Patricia recalled this conversation after Bruce and Samantha broke up.
“I told ya! I told ya! I told ya! No man wants a food left uncovered for flies, for keeps.
“Has Bruce not left her now for someone more reserved?” Patricia asked her boyfriend.
“Come on baby, don’t let’s talk about that thing my friend is with, as reserved. It’ll make me imagine that you’re mocking my friend” he had said with all seriousness, and Patricia had to drop the topic, because she could see that her man was really getting irked.
That night, while Samantha complained about him referring to Tracy as beautiful, Drake began to feel really uncomfortable with the level of nudity she was displaying and her choice of words.
And as if that wasn’t enough, she pulled his hands to her breasts when he wasn’t expecting.
“God damnit Drake. Did you imagine that mine were as fake as the ones Patricia always had to cover with turtle necked tops?” Samantha blasted, making Drake’s hands roll over her succulent and full brêasts to show how real they were.
“Stop that, will you!” Drake screà med, pulling his hands from hers, but impulse signals had already delivered too quickly to his brain.
He got up to walk away from where he had been sitting so close to her, and was about to speak to her again, when his phone began to ring.
“I’m at your gate” Patricia told him, making him answer in panic at once.
“Shît! I didn’t return from the village like I planned to babes. I was planning to call you, but I have been talking with my mum.
“Please go home my love, I’ll pick you up, on my way home tomorrow” he told her in complete fear.
The last thing Drake wanted was to have Patricia see Samantha in his house, at that time of the night, looking as uncovered as she was.
Then, to make matters worse, he had an erecti0n from what she just did, something that made him really angry with himself
“How am I supposed to let her see me this way?” he thought in anguish.
“It’s okay babes, I have my key, so I’ll just have to deal with boredom tonight. I hope there is food in that freezer?” she asked him, making him nearly collapse.
“Yeah, yeah, of course” he stuttered and hung up.
“Come on Samantha, we have to go” he told Samantha, pulling her as he moved.
Samantha knew that no love was lost between her and Patricia, but she couldn’t understand why Drake was acting the way he was acting.
He pulled her down to the guest room, locked them inside, and switched off his phone.
Some few moments later, he heard Patricia enter the sitting room, complaining of being so tired she wished he was around to massage her shoulders.
She began to play music to accompany herself, as she turned on the computer game to play away time, before going to bed.
“So, what exactly am I to do here now? Hide inside this tight room like a girl caught with someone’s husband?” Samantha asked him, batting her eyes quickly, to take back the tears of ãnger.
“Please bring your voice down Samantha. The music is loud, gladly, but you don’t want to put me in tròuble. You know how Patricia is, and you know like hĂŞll that she will raise dusts if she finds you here in my house like this” he told her, flipping his hand up and down, to indicate her brĂŞasts that were almost now out of her top completely.
“Please enough of the hypocrisy already! You’re even beginning to make me feel you have always been dyïng to touch them” she snapped at him.
“Come off it Samantha. You know I’d never see any other woman as a woman, aside Patricia.
“All I’m begging you is that you keep your voice down, when she goes to bed, I can now let you out. Please help me save my relationship” Drake begged her.
“I’m sorry Drake, but I won’t stay in here like an adulterer caught in the act, I have to go.
“I came here because I was imagining that you could help me with my Bruce, but it appears I made a mistake” she said, and turned to leave.
Drake rushed after her and grabbed her from behind, just before her hand touched the door knob.
“Okay please wait, please Samantha” he begged her, holding her so tightly that he didn’t realize his hands had encircled her, and was rumpling her brêasts as he struggled to hold her down.
He didn’t know how much her big back grazed over his front tail, until he began to feel it poking a part between her thighs.
And suddenly, she seemed to have stopped struggling to go out, just froze kind of, when she realized that he was indeed poking her thìghs with a fully charged phà llus.
