Aime kept checking her phone, she has sent Bryan lots of messages but he didn’t reply which made her feel stupid. That thought of him leaving her after getting what he wanted came to her head but she tried her best to push the thoughts away.
The door open and Julia stepped in, Aime’s eyed widened in surprise and excitement. She jumped from her bed and rushed to hug her.
“Julia, I’ve missed you so much! Please don’t leave anymore” Aime hugged her tight.
“I’ve missed you too and beside I don’t want to go back and see that jerk!” Julia scoffed causing Aime to pull away from the hug.
“What did Jake do?” She narrowed her eyes as she asked.
“He didn’t do anything per say but I just don’t understand guys. I don’t understand why they would make you feel important only just to trash you the next second. I’m sick of that boy Aime” Julia released a frustrated sigh.
Aime thought of Bryan and agreed with Julia. “I shouldn’t have gone to see him last night” She mumbled.
“Who? Is it Bryan?” Julia asked and Aime flamed even more.
“I don’t wanna hear his name!!” She complained.
The door opened and Kaelyn entered.
“Hey Julia” She waved.
“Hey Kaelyn, hope you like it here?” Julia flashed a smile at her.
“Very much” Kaelyn gave a thumb up as she went to the bathroom to wash her face.
“Kaelyn is a good cook, I really enjoyed the mac salad she prepared earlier” Aime told Julia.
“And there’s still more in the kitchen if you want some” Kaelyn announced from the bathroom.

After few minutes, Kaelyn stepped out of the bathroom.
“Girls I will need your assistant” She said and they gave her their attention. “So Kelvin asked me out for dinner and I think he’s serious about it and I don’t know what to do. Should I go or not?” She asked briskly.
Julia and Aime exchanged looks.
“Kelvin asked you out?” Aime gasped with surprised eyes and Kaelyn nodded. “My God, I thought he would never move on from Julia” Aime said remarkably.
“Aime” Julia hit her with a glare before facing Kelvin. “Take it from me, Kelvin is a very nice person and I must say you’re so lucky he likes you. If you want we can help you get dressed” Julia suggested.
“And then you’d show that bastard Rico that he wasn’t as important as he thought he was” Aime added.
“Aime can we not bring Rico into this? This is Kaelyn and Kelvin # Kaelvin” Julia smiled dreamily feeling happy that Kelvin is finally moving on to someone beautiful.
“I’ve never been on a date before, I’m not use to guys approaching me or asking me out. I’m always the one who force myself to them” Kaelyn muttered.
“That’s why you should be so happy about Kelvin, dress us let’s go to the mall” Julia announced and happily clapped.

Kelvin was stressed in an button down shirt, dark washed jeans and leather jacket as he checked himself out in the mirror.
“What’s the occasion?” Jake asked as he stepped in.
“Jake, what’s up men” Kelvin adjusted his suit. “I have a date tonight, do you think i should go with a leather jacket and thick boots or suit and loafers?” He asked.
“Who are you taking out?” Jake asked instead.
“Trust me bro she’s really hot” Kelvin picked his phone from the table and went to Kaelyn Instagram to show Kelvin pictures. “I’ve been watching all her videos since morning”
Jake just nodded. “She’s got thick hips and curves, nice one”
“I know right? I really like her man and I want her to be my girlfriend” Kelvin said.
“You should go with the leather jacket and boot and don’t mess things up cause I want be around to clean your tears” Jake teased.
“Don’t worry about me bro, worry about you and Julia under the same roof” Kelvin smirked and Jake only rolled his eyes.
“I don’t know how else to convince you that nothing will ever happen between us”
“Jake” Kelvin placed a hand on his shoulder. “It’s okay to accept falling in love sometimes even if it doesn’t work out. I thought I was going to die when Julia left me but now I’m crazy over some girl I just met” Kelvin took his hands from Jake.
“Whatever men, I’ll get going. Let me know how the date goes and don’t screw things” Jake gave him a soft tap on the shoulder before leaving the room only to bump into Rico.
“Heard you guys taking about dates, what’s happening?” Rico demanded.
“You stalk boys now?” Jake raised his brows as he stared at him, waiting for an answer.
“I’m way higher than that” Rico scoffed.
“Good then you should mind your business” Jake pushed past him as he walked away.
Rico looked at Kevin’s door one more time before storming away.

Jake got to the car that would take him and Julia back home. Julia was already sitting there but was on a video call with Aime and Kaelyn, there were trying out clothes she would wear for her dates.
After a while of talking Julia greeted him goodbye before hunging up.
“So that’s the girl Kelvin is talking about? She’s pretty” Jake tried starting a conversation but Julia didn’t reply him.
“You’re seriously not going to talk to me because of what happened last night?” Jake raised his brows as he stared at her.
Julia looked out the window than to respond.
“You know I did it for us right?” He added.
Julia sighed and faced him.
“It’s fine if you don’t want anything to do with me. I’ll just stay out of your way and forget everything that ever happened between us” Julia scoffed and brought out her airpod to play some musics so she don’t get to hear what he have to say.

EVENING- DELI DINE••
“For the last time you look pretty. Go in there” Aime sighed out of tiredness as she doesn’t know how long she would keep convincing Kaelyn that she’s good too go.
“This dress expose too much. I have stretch mark on my arms, I don’t want Kelvin to think I’m disgusting” Kaelyn mumbled.
“And I promise you he doesn’t care. Go in there before he thinks you won’t show up anymore and I’m not listening to you say one more thing” Aime pointed fingers at her before hurriedly leaving Kaelyn alone.
Kaelyn breathed countless of times. “It’s just a date it can’t be that bad” She assured herself as she stepped in.
It felt like everyone were looking at her as usual. They might be thinking she was to fat for a girl, probably her arms are ugly and everything about her is ugly. Kaelyn turned to the glass door where should could see the blur of her reflection.
“God I look stupid, I shouldn’t have come here” She thought and made to leave when she sighted Kelvin walking towards her.
“I was scared I thought you wouldn’t show up” He smiled as he admired her from head to toes. “You look really beautiful, red is your color” He said.
“You think?” Kaelyn asked in shock.
Her friends had made a fool of her in the past by lying to her that she looked pretty. What if Kelvin was lying? Where are the cameras? Maybe he wants to humiliate her like Rico did.
Kaelyn shot her eyes to stop her thoughts.
“Let’s go sit, don’t want any man to think you’re single and snatch you from me” He took her hands and lead her to the table he reserved for them.
“But I am single, we aren’t dating we are just having dinner” Kaelyn said as she sat down.
“Are you saying you don’t like me?” Kelvin faked a puppy look which Kaelyn thought was cute.
“You’re obviously funny” Kaelyn chuckled.
The waitress greeted them and collected their orders and in few minutes time she came with the food.
“Smells good” Kelvin said and Kaelyn nodded.
“So you’ve got any siblings?” Kelvin asked as he began eating.
“I have a sister, trust you wouldn’t know she’s my sister cause she’s nothing like me” Kaelyn tried smiling but Kelvin could see the sadness in her eyes which made him frown.
“What do you mean by that?” He frowned as he narrowed his eyes at her.
Kaelyn shook her head. “It’s just that my sister is really pretty and…”
“Kay” Kelvin stretched his hands to hold hers. “Don’t ever bring yourself down to compliment others. If they are pretty then you’re equally as pretty as them and it’s my biggest mistake for not meeting you sooner” He said seriously.
Kaelyn looked at him for a while, her eyes searched his and they were no form of lies or mockery. The boy was pure honest and she believed him.
“Thank you” She smiled.
“Can I get your number? I want to talk to you everyday” He then asked.

“Oh I didn’t know that, the person sitting in front of me is very interesting even when she says nothing like I find it entertaining to just watch you do literally nothing” Kelvin commented with a smile.
“Stop” Kaelyn tried her best not too blush it was in vain. The guy sitting in front of her is too cute, she can’t help it.
Suddenly someone walked up to them and roughly pulled her up even Kelvin was stunned.
“What are you doing here with him?” Rico demanded with angry eyes as he squeezed her arms.
“Are you out of your fucking senses, let her go!” Kelvin angrily stood up.
“Let me tell you Kelvin, she liked me first so back off” Rico gruffed.
“Yes and you pushed her away and now I know what I see in her, it’s something you didn’t so let her go or I’ll get crazy” Kelvin warned.
Rico just laughed. “Crazy, you think you’re more crazier than me?”
“Rico we were doing just fine before you! Let go, everything is not about you” Kaelyn struggled.
