Hwasa and Lovelyn are in the midst of other students, reading silently and trying not to talk, but Hwasa gave in to the temptation eventually.

He took the cans of coke away from Hwasa’s cheek before coming to view.

All her things got moved here when she was in school, so Reno drove her here immediately she left school.

The guards even stayed outside the house it according to Kim Won’s order, and she feels safe, but she still feels incomplete, which is why she told Reno to find out Richie’s location anyhow.

She was wearing skimpy bum shorts and thin singlet as she paced the big living room, waiting for any good news from Reno. She couldn’t even eat.

Hwasa came out of the elevator at the right floor, and as expected, she met her mum waiting for her already.

How was school? She asked, and Hwasa raised her thumb, meaning fine

“Wait… Mrs. Kang is your mother?” Richie asked.

Richie sighed and continued his walk to the company studio where the third ad for today is going on.

He’s Mrs. Kelsey’s manager, so he’s basically in charge of almost everything.

The company launched three products today, and the shoots and ads has been hectic, but he even loves it that way. It’s distracting him like he wants.

“Mr. Richie, the models are ready for the next shoot” Valerie rushed to him, handing him some papers.

He started going through them, and Valerie smiled as she stole glances at him.

She’s one of the management team, and obviously, she has been trying to flirt with Richie all day since most of the works involve both of them.

“Cool, then start the ad with the third model” Richie finally talked, and she nodded as he returned the paper to him.

“Sure” she gave him a seductive smile before leaving.

At the door of the studio, stood Mrs. Kelsey, looking at Richie.

“He grew up so well. He’s hardworking as hell” she muttered, and another person appeared beside her. Everest.

“If the cult finds out that you were a nurse at the hospital he was stolen from, they’d wanna kill you” he said.

Twenty minutes later, the ad was over. Richie went over to the pantry and was making coffee for himself when Valerie joined him.

“Good job Richie! You’re even s*xy while working” she said flirtatiously, taking Richie’s cup of coffee from him.

She was about to drink from it when someone snatched it from her, and she turned to see two angry eyes glaring at her.

“Kim Won’s daughter?” She said.

“Now that you know, can you step out of this place right now? Your seduction won’t work on him” Lovelyn replied confidently, dropping the coffee cup on the table.

Valerie looked at the door and saw her guards standing there, then she looked back at her.

“Leave” Lovelyn said calmly, and she walked out fast, so it’s her and Richie in the small space.

It’s been long since they got this close, but the tension in the air could be perceived as they stood staring hard at each other without blinking, the days they spent apart whizzing past them like wind.

Richie suddenly started walking out, and she quickly grabbed his arm, holding him back.

“Don’t go”

“Let me go” he replied, and she shook her head.

“I don’t want to”

“Let go” he said again, turning back to her.

“I won’t” she replied, holding him with her second hand too.

Before he could say the last word, she dropped her bag on the ground and slipped her arms around him, hugging him tightly.

Immediately it happened, the guards walked out the door and closed it on them.

Richie folded his fists slowly immediately he heard the door slamming. He couldn’t move away anymore. He’s trapped.

She pushed him to the wall, her favorite position, and she hugged him tighter, resting her head in his chest.

Again, his sweet scent filled her nostrils, and she sniffed it softly. Gawd… She misses this

His heartbeats came just as fast as it does, or even faster. He hasn’t changed.

“I refuse to let you go this time even at a gunpoint. I can’t do it” she muttered softly, tightening the hug again.
