“I’m Chase Lockwood, your new roommate” Chase extended his hands for a handshake with a smile.

Jace looked back at Xavier before accepting Chase’s hands.

“Welcome bro, I’m Jace and that is Xavier, you’re welcome to our room” Jace made space for chase to enter.

Chase forced a smile and stepped in with his luggage.

“You can put your box in that empty space over there” Xavier pointed a wardrobe close to another wardrobe that looks messy.

“I can’t believe that we are in different rooms” Naomi pouted as she entered the hostel building with Gwen.

“Same here babe, be expecting me sooner in your room, room 35 right? ” Gwen asked and Naomi nodded.

“Oh room 27, here’s my room” Gwen smiled.

Naomi left and Gwen sighed before knocking on the door.

The door forcefully opened and a cute looking girl that is small and short in stature came out.

“No Molly, I don’t have any more extra plates to borrow you… ” she paused when she saw Gwen standing in front of her with a travelling box in her hands.

“You are?” The girl asked slowly.

Gwen showed her the ID card and key she was holding.

“Gwyneth Lee, your new roommate, a scholarship student” she replied.

“Gwyneth is my name but call me Gwen for short, if you want to” she replied.

“Ahhhh!!!” The girl screamed happily and rushed to hug her.

“I’ve been waiting for you like forever, my name is Lucky Mars” she Introduced and pulled away from the hug.

“Come on in, let me help you carry your luggage in” she took the bag from her hands and began going inside.

Gwen followed confusedly.

“You know it’s so boring to be here alone” Lucky said as she put Gwen’s bag inside the wardrobe.

“You’re alone here?” Gwen asked.

“Yeah, my roommate got suspended for months now and I don’t think she’s coming back anymore” Lucky shrugged.

“Why did she get suspended?” Gwen asked.

“She beat someone up, a guy, almost killed him and he’s not just any guy, he was her ex” Lucky replied.

“He must have cheated on her real bad then” Gwen muttered.

“She wishes” Lucky scoffed and went to take her books.

“Will you be going for lectures this morning?” She asked.

“Why not, a minute please” Gwen replied and went to look for her school bag.

Naomi got to the room, she brought her hands to knock on the door but stopped when she heard some sounds Inside.

“You spoilt my Gucci bag how dare you?” A familiar voice sounded.

“I’m really sorry, it was an accident and besides it’s just the zipper, give me thirty minutes and I’ll fix it up for you” a trembling voice sounded.

SLAP!!

A loud slap sounded and Naomi immediately pushed the door opened.

They were three girls in the room, one of them was holding her cheeks.

Two of them turned back to look and they paused, even Naomi was surprised.

“You?” She muttered.

The girls were none other than Brittany and Mabel.

“You!?” The both of them said at once.

“Why did you follow us in here?” Mabel said angrily.

“I should ask you here because this is now my school” Naomi said.

“I’m guess you are a scholarship student and how did you get to wear such expensive clothes? Let me guess, you’re stealing from your sugar daddy?” Brittany smirked.

“You sound like a goat in my street, very senseless” Naomi shook her head and dragged her luggages inside.

“Very well bîtch, but you have no space here” Mabel said.

“Says who” Naomi moved to Brittany’s wardrobe, she opened it and emptied everything on the floor.

“How dare you!!” Brittany screamed.

“This is my space now” Naomi replied and put her box there.

Brittany moved closer to Naomi and grabbed her forearms.

“Scholarship girl, you just came here so mind yourself, I can send you back to your dog house just within a blink of an eye” she said.

“Is that a threat?” Naomi asked.

Brittany burst out into laughter before raising her head up to look at the girl she slapped earlier.

“You, take her bags and throw it out of here” she ordered.

“Do that and you won’t leave this room with your complete bones” Naomi replied.

The girl looked scared and confused.

“Jenis, don’t forget what you owe me” Brittany said with threatening eyes.

Jenis eyes widened and she immediately moved to the wardrobe, she removed Naomi’s box and put Brittany’s box back there.

“I thought so” Brittany smirked and Mabel smiled.

Naomi also smiled and began stretching her arms.

“Brit, I think we should start going to class, this church rat is so stinky, I can’t take in her odours anymore” Mabel said, trying to hide the fact that she was scared of Naomi.

“Let’s go” Brittany scoffed and left, Mabel hurriedly followed her.

Naomi’s eyes landed on Jenis.

“I’m really sorry, there’s an empty wardrobe in the last place but if you don’t like it then I can give you my own wardrobe but please don’t cause trouble with those girls, please” Jenis pleaded with Naomi.

Naomi rolled her eyes and dragged her own luggages to her wardrobe.

“The lecture room is in the other building by the left, I’ll see you there” Jenis said and left.

Naomi rolled her eyes again.

Lectures were already going on, a professor was standing in front of the class and teaching when Naomi walked in.

All eyes landed on her immediately.

“Uhhh..” she looked at everyone.

“My name is Naomi” she said awkwardly.

“Just find somewhere to sit, Mrs scholarship” the professor sighed.

Naomi nodded and began going to look for a sit, she saw Gwen sitting beside Lucky and she immediately waved at her.

Gwen waved too.

“You know her?” Lucky whispered to Gwen.

“Yes, she’s my bestie, we came here together but we didn’t get the same room” Gwen replied.

“Oh” Lucky nodded and waved at Naomi too and Naomi just smiled.

Chase was sitting alone, Naomi recognized him and she went to sit beside him immediately.

“Hi” she waved at him.

He turned to look at her and smile back.

“It’s you again” he said.

“Yeah, I didn’t know that you were a student here too” she smiled.

“Scholarship student” he corrected her and she nodded.

“Same here, I’m also a scholarship student, my name is Naomi” she said.

“Chase” he whispered to her.
