Lucky got to her room, she met Gwen pressing her laptop and Erica in the bathroom brushing her teeth.

“Someone slap me!” She screamed and Gwen rolled her swivel chair to look at her.

Erica spat the toothpaste from her mouth and came out of the bathroom. Lucky immediately rushed to stand beside her.

“Slap me! Now!!” She said.

“Okay” Erica shrugged and gave Lucky a sounding slap.

Lucky fell on the floor and Gwen gasped.

“Why did you do that?” She stood and went to pick Lucky up from the floor.

“Because she told me to” Erica shrugged.

“Are you okay?” Gwen asked worriedly as she stared at Lucky’s read cheeks.

“I’m fine” Lucky breathed and next thing was a loud scream that came out from her mouth.

Gwen and Erica looked at themselves in confusion.

“Are you sure you do not need another slap?” Erica raised her hands but Gwen put her hand back down for her.

“Jace and I… We just kissed! Does this mean that we are in a relationship?” Lucky then asked.

“Lucky please talk normal!” Erica said loudly.

“You and Jace kissed? When? How? Where?” Gwen asked with widened eyes.

“I don’t know how it happened! We were taking a walk and next thing he was in front of me, his lips were on mine, his hands on my waist pulling me closer and..” she looked at her hands and smelt it.

“My hands were gripping his hair, smell my hands, it’s smelling like his hair gel” she showed her palms to Erica and Gwen.

“Gross!” Erica replied and went to her bed.

“Wow, I’m really glad you two are finally getting close” Gwen smiled.

“What about Dominic? Do you still have feelings for him?” Erica asked and Gwen’s smile slowly turned to a frown.

“That’s like a yes, and Naomi? Have the both of you talked after today because she looked like she regreted what she did earlier” Erica asked again.

“We haven’t talked yet” Gwen replied and went back to her sit.

Lucky happily ran to the bathroom while Erica shrugged and covered her eyes with her sleeping mask.

Gwen began typing her laptop but her mind trailed back to earlier when Dominic returned the painting to her.

Naomi has been sitting on the stool beside her dad’s bed and looking at him. It was getting really late that she was already dozing off.

Next thing she knew, she was resting her head on the bed and was already sleeping.

The door opened and Dante stepped in, he sighed when he saw Naomi sleeping next to her father as expected, the food he got for her wasn’t even touched yet.

“She’s so stubborn” he muttered and removed his jacket then moved closer to her.

Just when he was about to cover her with the jacket, he remembered something.

‘Since when did you start caring so much about me?’ her question from earlier repeated in his mind.

His hands froze in mid air before he unfreeze and covered her with his jacket so she won’t catch a cold.

He positioned her head very well then stared at her sleeping face.

She looked different from the Naomi he knows, not the one that act crazy or cry or squeeze her face but she looked so peaceful, like a cute baby, it’s like nothing was even bothering her in her sleep.

He smiled unknowingly and brought his hands to her face but stopped immediately, his smile turned to a frown and he put his hands down.

“Since when did I start caring?” He asked himself and looked up.

“I don’t know” he muttered before giving her a last look and leaving the room.

The next day, Naomi slowly opened her eyes, she felt something on her shoulder and she turned to her side to see Dante’s jacket wrapped around her.

“Huh?” She muttered and removed it from her body then looked left and right.

“Did he do this?” She asked no one in particular before looking at her father.

He was still unconscious, she touched his forehead and smiled a bit.

“Wake up soon dad, I’m waiting for you” she said then the door opened and the doctor stepped in.

She stood up immediately.

“Miss Moore, good morning” he greeted.

“Morning doctor” Naomi muttered and the doctor moved towards Naomi’s father to do some testing.

When he was done, he began recording in his book.

“How’s my father?” Naomi asked.

“He’s getting better, we’ll keep giving him all the treatments he needs so rest assured” the doctor smiled and began leaving.

“Uhm, doc about the bill?” She asked and the doctor turned back to her.

“Don’t worry about that, that young man you were with yesterday already paid” the doctor replied and left.

Naomi’s eyes widened.

In Dominic’s room, the boys were getting ready for classes today, Jace and Xavier were in the bathroom while Dominic came out shirtless with only a white towel on.

Edward who was busy sitting on a chair and eating cereals began admiring his body.

Dominic chuckled dryly and turned to face Edward.

“You want to gym? Since when did hitting the gym interest you?” He asked.

“I don’t know, maybe if I look as attractive as you guys then people would like me” Edward muttered sadly.

“What do you mean? I like you Edward,we like you and we care about you, when did you start thinking like this? What did someone say to you?” Dominic narrowed his brows.

“No one said anything, I just want to look attractive” Edward replied.

“Are you sure no one said anything bad to you?” Dominic asked.

“No one!!” Edward sighed frustratedly.

“If you want to look good for yourself then I don’t mind taking you to the gym with me, it’ll take a lot of hard work and sacrifice” Dominic replied before going to his wardrobe.

“By sacrifice, you don’t mean throwing my delicious foods away” Edward asked as he stared at his cereals.

“We’ll see” Dominic replied and Edward pouted his lips.

“Let me enter first!” Edward used his body to push Jace back as he forced his way inside the class.

Jace dusted his body and followed from behind.

“Don’t be mad at me, I thought we said no one will hate anyone with who she chooses” Jace said.

The both of them talked about last night earlier so now they were arguing about it.

Edward stopped walking and pointed at Jace.

“You cheated!” He said

“I didn’t!” Jace replied.

“You did, you knew we were getting close that’s why you forced her to kiss you! Edward replied.

“I didn’t force her, I kissed her and she simply kissed me back so why don’t you accept the fact she was into me first” Jace rolled his eyes.

“She was just obsessed! I bet she didn’t know what she was doing!” Edward said.

Jace laughed and shook his head.

“You’re really funny Eddie, accept the fact that she don’t like you! She was close to you because you were talent and project partners but that doesn’t mean she like you and beside you can’t even do anything for her, you can’t protect her, you’re not anyone’s dream boyfriend, Edward!” Jace said angrily.

Edward gasped loudly before nodding.

“Oh I get it, you are so full of yourself because you’re slim and I’m fat, just wait and watch Jace it’s not over yet!” He snapped and began going to his sit.

Jace followed him.

“It’s over already, she already chose me!” He said.

“She haven’t, you haven’t confessed to her yet! And besides she said she is in love with me!” Edward said too.

“Oh yeah, she is she in love with you and she kissed me, she don’t need to tell me her feelings, the kiss says it all” Jace argued.

“No Jace, it’s not over yet until we both confesses and see who she picked, you kiss her today, I can kiss tomorrow!” Edward scoffed.

“Then get ready to cry” Jace smirked and went to his own sit.

While they were arguing Jenis was listening, she looked at Jace then Edward before facing her front.

Throughout the lectures, Gwen noticed that Naomi didn’t attend the class which would be making it the first time Naomi is missing classes.

She sighed and picked at one, she opened her lockers to drop her book.

“Hello Mom” she said as she used her shoulders to support her phone.

“Gwen have you heard from Naomi?” Paula asked from the other end.

“No what happened?” Gwen asked back.

“Her father got stabbed by her mom last night and he was rushed to the hospital” Paula replied.

Gwen’s book fell from her hands.
