“Eddie, do you think this shirt matches with my new hairstyle?” Jace turned from the mirror to Edward.

He was actually dressing to go out.

“This is the third time you’re asking me this and did you just called me Eddie?” Edward replied as he looked at him.

Jace sighed and faced the mirror again.

“You know I don’t know why you’re worried about your looks all of a sudden, you’re not going to see the president! You’re just going to see Jenis or don’t tell me you’re falling for her already” Edward rolled his eyes.

“What!?” Jace immediately turned to face him.

“No one is into anyone, we are just friends and I told you before that I love looking good no matter what, okay?” He shook his head with a frown.

“Okay okay, no need to eat me” Edward muttered and faced the laptop he was pressing earlier.

Soon there was a knock on the door.

“It might be Jenis, let me go get it” Edward stood.

“Don’t let her see me, I’m not done..” Jace was talking but Edward already went to open the door.

He met Lucky standing there and the first thing he did was to look at her hands.

“If you didn’t bring me any food then why are you here?” He asked.

“Is Jace in?” Lucky asked back.

“Yeah I don’t think it’s a good idea to see him because he’s going out” Edward replied.

“Oh I don’t want to disturb him, I’ll just come back later” Lucky smiled and stepped back.

Edward shrugged and closed the door before going back to his bed.

“Who was that?” Jace asked.

“Lucky,my project partner, she wanted to see you” he shrugged.

“Why?”

“I don’t know, she wanted to see you and not me so I don’t know” Edward twitched his lips and took his phone.

“Okay, I’m done with dressing, she can come see me later” Jace said, he took his perfume and spray on his body before leaving the room.

When Lucky got out, she met the girls sitting outside on a bench together.

“What’s wrong why did you come back?” Gwen asked the moment she saw her.

“Jace was going out and I couldn’t stop him but maybe when he’s back” Lucky shrugged and sat with them.

There was silent for a while before Naomi’s face suddenly brightened up.

“That’s it I got it! I know what to do!” She said and everybody looked at her.

“Lucky how about we confess our feelings to Chase and Jace in the party on Saturday, we’ll look really irresistible that no one would be able to take their eyes off us then somehow since it’s a party, we’ll find something special to tell them” Naomi said.

Lucky slowly looked at her with a smile.

“Why didn’t you think about that earlier? When should we go shopping?” She asked.

“Like Friday evening” Erica said and they all nodded.

They were all talking about the shopping expect from Gwen who was just quiet.

“Gwen are you alright? Why so quite all of the sudden?” Naomi held her shoulders worriedly.

Gwen looked up and slowly shook her head.

“I feel so ashamed of myself right now” she muttered again.

“If something is bothering you, you can always tell me, you can always tell us, I mean we are your friends and we’ll understand, we always will” Naomi said softly.

“I’ll tell you but not now, maybe later, please don’t pressure me okay?” She said and Naomi nodded.

“Are you sure you don’t need a hug?” Lucky’s voice slowly came up.

“I’m fine, don’t worry!”

The atmosphere became dull again and Erica stood up.

“Let’s not let our day end like this, is anyone not hungry? Let’s go get something to eat come on!” She clapped her hands loudly.

“Yeah, I’m pretty hungry” Naomi stood up, followed by Lucky.

Gwen stared at them before nodding and standing up too.

Jenis was sitting on the swing and pressing her phone when she heard some footsteps.

She looked up to see Jace coming towards her and she smiled and tapped the empty space beside him.

Jace smiled and sat down next to her.

“Hey, thank you for agreeing to hang out with me today” he said.

“Sure, I was bored too” she shrugged and he nodded before looking at her.

“So we can do something else apart from games like talk about something else” he said.

“Something like?” She asked.

“I don’t have much thing to say, you can start first” she cleared her throat.

“Same here I’m so boring but I’ll tell you about myself, my dad is the owner of Leo X gaming company, he use to be a gamer, really good one and I wish to be just like him” he said and Jenis smiled.

“What about you? Who are your parents, what do they do for a living?” He asked.

Jenis smiled and looked elsewhere, a sweat dropped from her forehead but she immediately wipped it off.

“My mother.. she.. she’s an investor in a big company in country Z, can’t really remember the name because I don’t pay attention to most things and my father… He’s a founder of rain money company, yeah” she nodded nervously.

“Rain money, I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that” Jace said.

“I mean, who’d have time to look up various companies” Jenis laughed and Jace chuckled slowly.

“Any past relationships?” He asked and she shook her head immediately.
