“There, put it there!” Dante said frustratedly at the two guys that were helping him to carry a big banner.
The banner was set the way he wanted and he smiled.
The banner says he was having this house party on Saturday night.

The students that saw it became commenting on it while Dante just smiled proudly.
Chase just entered the school, he stared at the banner and rolled his eyes but Dante suddenly pulled him back.
“You’re invited to my party Saturday night Lockwood” he said.
“Sounds boring, I won’t be there” Chase replied and turned to leave but Dante blocked him again.
“What do you want? All you’ve done since you’ve shown up is to trouble me! Can’t you leave me for now please?” Chase snapped and left.
Dante just scoffed.
When Chase got to the class, his phone began ringing and the call came from Vic.
He sighed and picked the call, Vic face pooped into his screen and he was eating this time around.
“So how did looking cool went yesterday?” Vic asked after dropping his bread.
“I did look cool but..” Chase trailed off.
“What?”
“I didn’t see her there, she wasn’t watching me” he said.
“Really? Try something again, try to get her really jealous” Vic suggested.
“How?”
“Ion know Chase, there must be pretty girls in school, start hanging out with them in front of her” Vic rolled his eyes and sipped from his coffee.
“I don’t know about that one man, the girls in this school seems crazy, I’m not ready to start what I can’t finish” Chase muttered and noticed a lecturer stepped in.
“We’ll talk later” he said and hung up.
“That handsome dude is your big bro? I only know about you having a baby sis, why didn’t you tell me you have a big brother too?” Jace who was sitting besides Chase, asked.
“When did you even get here?” Chase creased his brows.
“Long enough to hear that you’re trying to impress this girl? Who is that lucky girl by the way?” Jace winked.
“You don’t have to know” Chase muttered.
“Hey guys, is anyone coming for Dante’s party?” Xavier appeared from the other side of Chase.
“I’m not going” Chase replied.
“Don’t be boring” Jace said.
“Seriously! All that guy has done is to try to get into my pants and I don’t share pants Jace, I can be very ugly when I’m really vexed” Chase said in a low and cold voice.
“Woah… The voice is giving off Mafia vibes” Xavier whispered and Jace chuckled.
“One more word at the back and I’m matching all three of you out!” The lecturer warned from the front of the class.
Xavier rolled his eyes and faced his book along with Chase and Jace.

“Y’all I won’t be in the hostel today, I miss fûcking” Xavier winked as he left the class.
“I’m going to talk to Jenis” Jace stood went after Jenis who just left the classroom.
Chase looked around and settled his gaze on Edward.
“Hey man, wanna walk to class together?” He asked.
“Nahh, I’m going to eat, join me?” Edward replied.
Chase refused and Edward shrugged before leaving.
Chase began going on his own when he bumped into Naomi.
“Chase, I’ve been looking for you, will I see you in the party Saturday night?” She asked.
“Nah” he shook his head.
“Really? The girls and I are going but since you’re not going then I’m not either” Naomi pouted.
“The girls?” Chase asked, in his thoughts, Gwen must be part of them.
“Yeah but don’t worry..”
“You’ll see me there” Chase cut her off.
“Really?” Naomi narrowed her eyes.
“Hmm.. let’s escort ourselves out of here” he wrapped his hands around her shoulders.
Naomi looked at him and smiled before they left together.

<EVENING: VICENTE’S HOUSE>
“A party” Vic repeated what Dominic told him.
“Yeah I don’t wanna go there but I heard she would be there” Dominic replied.
They were both of sitting on the couch and talking, Shirley who was busy arranging the dining table only just looked at them and shook her head.
“Okay I see.. this can be even better, you see it’s a party so obviously there’s gonna be lots of..”
Vic was talking but Shirley suddenly walked over.
“There’s no need to stress yourself over things like this, it’s just one simple girl that you like so instead of going through jungles to show her, why don’t you just try to be direct” she said.
“I’ve tried once but I don’t like the way she treated me” he muttered.
“Like I’m so confused, what has this girl done to make you so interested?” Vic asked with his eyes so narrowed.
Dominic sighed and leaned back on the couch.
“Right from day one, even before I met her in the school, I don’t know I just love her look, her voice, her smile, the way she walks and the way she does everything” he sighed and pressed his lips together.
“I don’t really know why her of all people but I just hope it works out between us, I mean it would be so nice to finally be with a girl of my age, someone I’ll be able to cuddle and laugh with everyday just like you and Shirley” he said with a little smile.
“Awwwn, baby pass me the tissue” Shirley used her finger tips to wipe the little tears from her eyes.
“You can’t be serious right now” Vic said with an unbelievable look.
Shirley stopped crying and cleared her throat.
“Really that was touching and I really wish things can work out well with that girl but anything can happen and if you end up getting rejected, there’s a huge bowl of ice cream in the fridge” Shirley said.
“Babe!” Vic laughed.
“It’s okay, I’ll be going to my room” Dominic shook his head and stood up then excused himself out.
“You’re so naughty, you’re telling him that and decreasing his hope” Vic poked her cheeks.
“I’m not, I’m just trying to get him prepared, I mean the girl might not be into him the way he is to her and you’re giving him too much hopes up, it can crush him” she replied him.
Vic sighed and rested his head on her shoulders.
“That’s true” he muttered.

Lucky found herself standing in front of Jace’s room.
“Can I still do this, maybe I should just do it tomorrow” she turned back but bumped into Erica, Gwen and Naomi who were angrily crossing their arms and blocking her path.

“There’s no need to chicken out girl, you’ve got this! And I thought we talked about this yesterday” Gwen sighed and rubbed her forehead.
“I know I know but it’s not easy..” Lucky pouted.
“Do you know walking out of here means giving up on him?” Erica suddenly moved forward and asked.
“What do you mean?” Lucky narrowed her eyes as she asked.
“I’m saying I don’t want to hear you talking about Jace ever again” Erica replied.
“Yeah so do it now, go get your man!” Naomi pushed her forward.
“And you too Naomi, I hate all these stupid crushes I’m hearing so go tell Chase you like him right Gwen?” Erica asked.
Gwen heart skipped a beat at first but she nodded immediately.
“Yeah.. yeah” she said.
“Hey don’t look for a way to drag Lucky out of this, I have a special way of confessing to Chase so leave that to me now go Lucky” Naomi pushed Lucky forward again.
Lucky slowly looked back.
“Fingers crossed” Gwen smiled at her and stylishly looked at Naomi.
Lucky bit her lips and nodded.
“Here goes nothing” she muttered before knocking on the door…
