Naomi and Chase exchanged weird looks before Chase stepped away from Naomi and moved towards the window.

He looked out but there was no one present, he came out of the studio and peeped left and right, still no one.

He narrowed his eyes and went back in.

Meanwhile, Gwen was sitting on the floor and holding her breath, she didn’t mean to eavesdrop on them but her sketchbook unknowingly fell from her hands.

She sighed and relief when Chase went in then she crawled over to the next studio and entered inside.

After settling down in front of the drawing board she suddenly remembered earlier, the way he held Naomi’s face and looked at her,why did she felt so uncomfortable as she watched that?

She shook her head immediately and dipped her paintbrush inside the paint as she tried to remember Dante’s face…

Chase just finished painting. As he looked at his work, his smile slowly turned to a frown.

“What’s wrong, is the painting not good?” Naomi asked with her brows creased.

Chase stared at the painting again, he was thinking of Gwen just now, when she was sitting alone at the party and how beautiful she looked so he ended up painting that scene.

“Let me see” Naomi stood up from her chair.

“Uhhh…” Chase looked around before picking an orange paint and spilling it on the picture.

Naomi gasped.

“Sorry that picture was just too ugly, I can’t let you see it, please sit I’ll draw you again, no big deal” he said with a nervous laughter.

Naomi twitched her lips together and sat down then Chase resumed drawing her again.

Gwen sighed and threw the last panting of Dante on the floor. She still can’t get that right look of his face, each time she draws him, he always look so arrogant.

“Okay, let me just try to imagine him smiling” she muttered and closed her eyes then began painting.

When she saw done, she still looked so unsatisfied with the work.

“I’m not even sure he looks like this when he smiled” she sighed and checked the time.

It was past twelve already.

“Oh my goodness! It’s pretty late, it’s past my bedtime already” she shut her eyes tight.

“Yeah you can just take the painting like that or else you want to spend your class here alone tomorrow” a voice sounded and she looked up to see Chase.

“Chase? What are you doing here?” She asked as she closed down the painting.

“I didn’t see you peeping at Naomi and I earlier” he smirked and her cheeks burnt red.

“Actually I.. I didn’t actually..”

“It’s fine, you don’t have a partner?” Chase walked over to her side with his hands in his pocket.

“I do..he just didn’t show up” Gwen shrugged and stood up with the painting in her hands.

“Goodnight” she said before trying to walk away.

“Hold on” Chase went to stand in front of her, he removed his hands from his pocket and brought out a folded paper.

“Naomi and I were done an hour ago and I got bored so I decided to paint this” he put the paper in her hands.

Gwen opened it, it was a picture of her smiling and looking unaware.

“You like it?” He asked but she kept staring at it.

“It’s… It’s..” she muttered with her eyes glittering a bit.

“You don’t like it?” He asked with his eyes narrowed.

She suddenly cleared her throat and blinked the strange tears that were about to pour from her eyes away.

“I don’t like it, in my opinion it’s so ugly that I wanna just puke!” She replied and squeezed the paper then threw it on the floor.

Chase stared at her in shock.

“What? So now I’m a bad person for being honest??” She said hardly but before he could answer, she already left.

Chase chuckled and huffed to himself before sitting on one of the stool behind him.

“Ouch! I mean that hurts” he muttered sadly.

All these while, there was a shadow watching from outside.

“So most of you did well and some performed poorly” Prof Stella said as she walked around the classroom with her mean look.

Today she’s dressed strictly professional, her pencil skirt and deep red lipstick says it all.

“Ma’am can you just release the results please, if it’s about failing I know I did” Erica said with an eye roll which made the students laugh.

“Indeed you know yourselves by your performance” Prof Stella eyed her before taking the script.

“The winner of this project is Jace and Jenis, please come out” she said and people began clapping.

Jace stood up with a smile, he began moving forward but stopped when he saw Jenis wasn’t moving along with him.

“Jenis?” He called and she blinked repeatedly before looking up.

“We won” he whispered and she looked left and right.

Everyone began clapping while Jace motioned her to stand up.

She stood up and people clapped even more.
