“OMG! He said yes!!” Lucky screamed when Jace entered.
“Huh?” Gwen asked beside her.
“He’s putting on my scarf, see!” She pointed at the white scarf on his neck.
“Well did he know that it’s from you, did you write your name on the letter?” Gwen asked again.
“I didn’t but his common sense should tell him that it’s from me” Lucky replied with a smile and Erica just chuckled.
Soon the art lecturer entered and the class became quiet a little.
“I’m guessing everyone’s day was fine so I’m just gonna go straight to the point” Prof Stella started.
“Today I’m gonna be starting the art project for the first year students, each one of you are grouped into two, boys and girls and I want you guys to draw your partner, that is, one will model and the other one will draw” she said.
“I love drawing” Gwen smiled.
“And it reminds me that I forgot the list in my office, Gwyneth, help me check my office for that list” Prof Stella said to Gwen.
“Okay ma’am” Gwen stood up and dashed out of the class.

Gwen got to the art lecturer’s office and began searching the desk for the letter, by looking for it she accidentally hit a book and two papers fell off.
Looking at it, she realized that it was the project list but her eyes caught her name, she was paired with Chase while Naomi was paired with someone else.
“Oh no” she muttered and looked left and right before taking an eraser.
She cleaned Chase name and put the guy Naomi was paired with there then exchanged Naomi’s own to Chase.
“This is better, now the can be together” she smiled and took the list before leaving.
When she got to class, she gave the list to Prof Stella before going to take her sit.
“Okay now for the list, everyone listen attentively because I’ll only call your name once!” Prof Stella announced before starting.

“Erica and Xavier”
“Lucky and Edward”
“What!?” Lucky screamed from her seat, she turned to look at Edward who just smiled and waved at her then she rolled her eyes.
“Chase and Naomi”
Naomi first blinked twice, she looked at Chase who looked not affected before smiling to herself.
“Gwen and Dante” the teacher announced lastly after calling many more and everyone gasped.
“Why are they gasping?” Gwen muttered.
“Because you got paired up with Dante, the boy that don’t always come to school so get ready to fail” Lucky replied and Erica nodded.
“Where’s Dante?” Prof Stella asked.
“He’s not in school as usual” a student replied.
Gwen raised her hands up and Prof Stella nodded.
“Can I please change my partner, I don’t want to fail” she pleaded.
“There’s no changing of partner, it’s either you look for him or you fail and mind everyone that this assignment must be submitted tomorrow morning” Prof Stella said before leaving.
Gwen sighed and relaxed back on her sit, if she had known then she wouldn’t have changed partners with Naomi.
She slowly turned back to see Naomi and Chase, sitting together and discussing.
“It’s fine, you’ll just have to go to the boys hostel today and search the whole room for the Dante guy so you can do your project” she muttered and nodded to herself.

“I really wish I could help you look for the Dante guy but Chase and I have to..”
“I know just go!” Gwen cut Naomi off.
“Sorry babe, I’ll come check out on you later” Naomi said before leaving to meet Chase.
“Want me to follow you look for Dante guy? I know his room” Erica said.
“Will you help me, for real?” Gwen asked and Erica nodded.
“Finally, someone I could count on” Gwen smiled and came to hug Erica.
“But what happened to me?” Lucky asked cutely.
“I can count on you too but not right now” Gwen replied.
“Why?” Lucky pouted and Gwen looked ahead of her.
Lucky turned back to see Jace coming, he still had her scarf tied around his neck.
“OMG Jace is coming, everyone look pretty” she said and began arranging her hair immediately.
Jace just walked past her without looking back.
“He’s gone now, you can stop smiling that way it’s really creepy” Erica said dryly as she looked at the way Lucky was smiling.
Lucky stopped and cleared her throat.
“He didn’t even looked at me” she murmured.
“Maybe because you scared him off with that smile” Erica replied.
“I guess it’s because he’s shy and don’t wanna talk to me in public, I’ll just meet him privately since he’s Edward roommate” Lucky high-fived herself before leaving.
“She’s crazy, let’s go” Erica grabbed Gwen’s hands and pulled her over to the boys hostel.

“Hey is Dante in” Erica kicked the door opened when she got in.
Two boys were dressing and they immediately covered themselves, even Gwen turned around but Erica didn’t mind.
“He’s in the basket ball field” one of the boys replied and Erica slammed the door close.
“Thank you Erica, you better go, I’ll take over from here” Gwen said as they both left the room.
“Are you sure?” Erica asked.
“Yeah, you have a project to do too, I’ll be fine” Gwen replied.
Erica shrugged.
“I’ll see you then oh and Dante can be very annoying, don’t get affected by him” Erica added.
“Sure” Gwen smiled and Erica left.
She suddenly remembered when she exchanged her and Naomi’s partner and she sighed.
She shook her head before leaving.

Knock knock
Edward stood up and went to get the door, it opened revealing Lucky standing in a flare skirt and crop shirt, looking cute.
“Hello is Jace… I mean my name is Lucky and I’m you’re project partner” Lucky immediately corrected herself.
Edward looked at her from head to toes and a smile spread on his face.
“The gods has given me an angel from the garden of Eden as a project partner, come in my pretty damsel” he dramatically made space for Lucky to enter.
Jace who was arranging his hair and looking at himself in the mirror just chuckled.
Lucky stared at Edward in a weird way before stepping in, her eyes caught Jace and she began staring.
“Are you going to sit my angel?” Edward shifted a chair close to her.
“No thank you, I’m fine” Lucky didn’t stop drooling over Jace.
Her eyes went to the dumpster and she saw the scarf there. A small frown formed in her face.
Jace looked satisfied with his hairstyle, he took a perfume spray and spray himself before turning around.
“Dude, you’re going to meet your project partner not your girlfriend” Edward frowned.
“Nevertheless, I still need to smell good” Jace winked and left the room, he didn’t even notice Lucky in the room.
“Why is that scarf in the trash?” Lucky slowly asked.
“You should have asked Jace, he was the one who threw it in” Edward shrugged and went to the kitchen.
“Did he not like the scarf?” She asked herself with a confused look.
