Oga Mba and his family would leave early in the morning.

So before Martha and her aunt left that day, it was night already.

The shop keys were handed to Martha. The new owner. The house gate spare keys were given to them. And the hideout where the keys into the house would be hidden was shown to them. They want Martha and Aunty Ifeoma to come and pack the remaining things in the house before handing over the keys to the house to the new owner.

Mr. Mba and his family arrived in Canada safe and sound.

‘And an ordinary sales girl for that matter. Onye Awusa(Hausa person) oh! Tell me, will heaven fall down if Mba used that shop to settle his one and only brother?,’ Mr. A added.

‘I am suspecting that Mba was having an affair with that girl. Because there is something behind what he did. Probably he used that shop to compensate the lady for their sèxcapadès,’ Mr. D came in.

‘Gbam! You are on point. You actually read my mind,’ Mr. B supported Mr. D.

‘Or who knows whether Martha had used the Awusa spell on them. Because ‘Ndi Awusa’(Hausa people) are very diabolic in their own way,’ Mr. E suggested.

‘I am not disputing all that you people have said. But the person who I strongly believed was behind that taboo committed by Mba was his wife. Who among you here doesn’t know how many times Rufus has run away with Mba’s môñèy here in Lagos?,’ he paused again for his words to sink well into their skulls.

‘That is not a justification to what Mba had done. Do you know if Rufus has turned a new leaf?,’ Mr. A interrupted.

Tell me or will you say you don’t know? Is it not a week ago he landed into the police net as a result of rôbbery. This time around he will end up in jail because Mba has vowed never to help him again..’, Mr. C explained bitterly.
