“Somebody’s husband returned days ago and she refused to come check on me” Lydia laughed awkwardly

“Am sorry girl. Everybody’s crush is around I needed to spend some quality time with him before he leaves again” rella exhales.

“Talking about everybody’s crush, does ladies still admires him till date. Even when he’s a married man?” Lydia whispered in disbelief.

“My dear! It’s even worst now. I thought if I married him, all those public girls will stop coming close to him but instead, they almost wounded me at the mall yesterday all because of their crush” She exhales, joining her lips together before letting out a low hiss.

Abruptedly a laughter from treasure interrupted them. Treasure was their close friend who was present there.

“Trea, what’s funny?” Rella asked giving Lydia a signal if treasure has gone mad.

“Lydia, I told you that day that you’re funny when you told Rella to get married to Karan to prevent ladies from going anywhere close to him.”she paused but then continue.

“lot of ladies are into your husband but he chose you. So wipe that jealous face off and be friendly to them.” Added.

Lydia joined her both palms together in disbelief. She wonder why treasure was way so different. Different from them. She has never for once doubted Karan.

“Treasure, how did you become friends with us- because I really don’t understand you even when I tried to…… What if Karan is cheating on rella just as my ex husband did to me?” Lydia raised a brow.

“Thank you for saying your husband not Rella’s husband. Just because your own husband cheated on you doesn’t mean that there aren’t men out there that ain’t faithful.

“You divorced your husband and went to another man thinking he is far better than your ex’s husband. Is not done that way Lydia” treasure swallowed and continue.

“Lydia, you will always meet different men out there. You will meet men who are far richer, faithful, attractive and have good vibe than your man. People must always be better than others in some areas of life.

“And sometimes, the people we see as being better than our spouses may not even be what we think they are. People show you what they want you to see and most of the time, it’s not their true self they reveal outside.

“Rella learn to appreciate your husband because he’s a real man” treasure warned.

Lydia hissed in disbelief. She was unable to believe what treasure had just said to her.

She was still confused when Rella’s voice snapped her out of her thought.

“I appreciate my husband that’s just the truth. But I can’t trust him never. What if he takes my trust for granted? That will damage me alot I can’t do that. All men are same” she said truthfully.

“Whoa, look who is talking. no wonder you are still single even when they are perfect men out there ” Lydia mocked treasure.

“Please don’t talk to me in such manner Lydia” treasure chipped in angrily.

“What if I do….. You are very beautiful, You have handsome men coming your way, yet you’re still single. I thought you said they’re perfect men out there?” Lydia grunt mockingly.

“Lydia, relationship isn’t about being beautiful or having a handsome partner. It’s not about looking for a perfect spouse because there is not perfect person on earth. A relationship is finding someone who respects you, who cares for you, who understands you, who is proud of having you, who loves you, comfort you and stay faithful to you. So it’s not about handsome faces but someone who will accept you and be faithful to you just like Rella’s husband” treasure explained briefly.

Rella placed her arms on her head as she watched the scenario going on Infront of her.

Undoubtedly it wasn’t new to her as both has been on each other’s neck for long, fighting over unnecessary stuffs. Both has been best of friends until treasure left for 5 good years without any communication, Lydia hatred for her began since that day.

Rella had wished they could be love between them again.

She had actually came to seek for their help but it seemed like she’s not gonna get any help from them today.

“Enough girls, I actually came here because I needed you guys. My husband is leaving again tomorrow”

Lydia smirked disgustingly and treasure gasped by her words

“Why so early?” Treasure asked.

“Guess his side chick needs him so much” Lydia whispered removing a strand of her hair carefully from her face with a eye roll.

“Lydia, don’t talk like that, guess it’s about work” treasure chipped in.

“When am talking please miss, don’t interfere because you left us for 5 whole years without a word from you” Lydia growled irritatedly.

“I explained what happened to you guys already right. I left in haste and misplaced my phone?” She mumbled

“You both ain’t helping at all. I should get going, today is my two years anniversary” rella pouted.

“Whoa really. Congrats darling” treasure happily say.

“Anyways congrats, I just hope he’s faithful just as our bachelor said” lydia mocked again giving treasure a glare who was glaring back at her disappointedly.

“Anyway I don’t have your time. Am very hungry what do you have in the kitchen?” treasure yawned.

“Don’t you dare enter my kitchen or else I will break your legs” Lydia shrieked.

“You wouldn’t dare it”

“You wanna see what I can do right? ”

“Of course” she mocked with her tongue.

Lydia grew silent.

“Rella can you please help me with two hundred thousand?” treasure asked reluctantly after awhile.

“Please try to understand Tre, am working on something that needs alot of money, I wish I could help” rella uttered sincerely.

“It’s alright I understand. Let me go check what Lydia has in the kitchen.” She left the scene caressing her tummy.

“You are really not scared of me” Lydia mumbled icily.

“You both are funny” rella laughed.

“This isn’t funny. Trea is giving you the wrong advice.” Lydia snarled.

“She is not Lydia, she is just saying her own opinion” rella mumbled

“I just hope she’s really saying the right thing” Lydia whimpered calmly.

“I will take my leave now treasure” rella shouted for treasure who was at the kitchen to hear while picking up her purse from the table.

“Bye rella” she heard treasure’s response and both knew instantly that she was already feasting on her food.

“Don’t choke before you will accuse me of killing you single” lydia yelled at her with a big smile on Rella’s face.

“And don’t you dare finish my food” Lydia added despite knowing fully well treasure wouldn’t be able to hear her again as they were at the staircase already.

“Leave her alone” rella muttered in disbelief.

“I should leave her alone because you are the one getting me foodstuffs right? Lydia asked, knitting her brows.

“Please let her be, I will try and send you something later in the day” rella assured.

“Now she can finish the food” Lydia laughed ecstatically.
