“Mom, I learnt how to write my name today. See!” Daniel entered the kitchen with a paper at hand.
Kehlani who was cooking turned to look at what her son was showing. She couldn’t help but smile at that.

“Today, all my friends were so jealous of me. They say I have the prettiest mother in the world.” Daniel smiled and Kehlani smiled even more before pecking his forehead.
When her family found out she got pregnant, they were so furious, disowning her right away so ever since then it’s been only her and her son.
The door bell suddenly rang.
“I’ll get it!” Daniel said and without waiting for Kehlani, he ran off to see who it was.
“Aunt Ola!” Daniel’s eyes brightened.
“How is my cute nephew doing?” Paola smiled, “I brought gifts for you,”
“Thanks so much auntie!”
“Paola,” Kehlani appeared in the living room.
Paola looked at Kehlani before looking at Daniel, “Dani, go play with your toys okay? I and your mommy have some things to talk about.”
Daniel nodded and immediately left, smiling happily at his new toys.
“What do you want? Last time you came here was to make fun of me,” Kehlani crossed her hand under her chest.
“Stay away from Gavin.”
“Huh?” Kehlani raised a brow.
“You heard me right,” Paola muttered, taking a step closer to her. “Stop acting like you’re the only one who understands him. You know how far I can go for Gavin so stay away from him,” Paola warned.
Kehlani scoffed, “Don’t you think we’re too old to be fighting for men? We’re 23 for f**k sake.”
Kehlani and Paola are unidentical twins.
“Get out of my house. You wouldn’t like the outcome if I resort to violence,”
Paola looked at Kehlani for awhile before she smirked. “I was worried over nothing after all. Gavin doesn’t do women who were impregnated and dumped by their exes, he prefers fresh blood.”
Kehlani folded her fists tightly as she watched Paola exit the house, slamming the door loudly.
She folded her fists even tighter, trying to suppress the anger building up in her.

“Luna, what do you want as desert. Cake or just fruits?” Aurora asked as she went through the menu but received no reply.
“Luna?” Aurora raised a brow as she looked at Luna who was busy picking her food absentminded.
“Luna!”
“What?” Luna jolted up.
“You look really down, what’s wrong?” Aurora asked.
“Nothing, I’m just feeling a bit bad about something.” Luna sighed.
“Really? What’s that?”
“Oh, nothing. I’ll get over it.” She smiled
Aurora shrugged, “Okay, let’s go and get our desert.”
The girls stood up and began heading to the counter when Gracie poured her food on Luna, earning a gasp from Luna.
“Oops…” Gracie smirked.
“Is it me or you look so much better this way” Gracie’s friend chuckled.
“I know right?” Gracie smirked.
Luna folded her fists tightly, closing her eyes to suppress her inner demons.
She took in a deep breath, “It’s fine.” Luna muttered and made to leave but Gracie pulled her back.
“We’re not done talking yet, are we?” Gracie smirked. She was already gathering attention on them.
“Since you’re already stained, it won’t be a bother to have this drink on you right? Why am I even asking you’re just a scholarship student, you’re nothing, you’re insignificant, pathe-”
Before she could say any more words, a loud resounding slap landed on her cheek. Everyone gasped loudly at what just happened.
Luna just slapped Gracie.
